On MSNBC, Tommy Vietor Laughs Off ‘Dude’ Remark: You Can Only Use ‘Queen’s English on Fox’

Liberals never seem to understand their incompetence.
Check it out:

On Fox News Thursday, former White House national security spokesman Tommy Vietor got so exasperated with Bret Baier‘s questions on Benghazi he said, “Dude, that was like two years ago.” Vietor’s comment really set off the conservative blogosphere in the past day, and during an appearance on MSNBC Friday night, Vietor laughed off the controversy and made light of the remark.

He told Chris Hayes, “Bret was asking me to remember what––if I changed a word on Septermber 14th, 2012, and my frustration came through. I guess you’re only supposed to use the Queen’s English on Fox. But obviously what happened that day was an absolute tragedy.”

Chris Hayes took on Fox News’ “obsessive coverage” of Benghazi, which he contended is about “hurting Hillary Clinton‘s chances” and said they are just convinced beyond any doubt there’s some kind of cover-up. Vietor said, “All of those things have been debunked in the real world, but in the Fox News hashtag-Benghazi world, these are things people still believe.”
