Death Toll in Egypt Violence Rises to 327

Mideast Egypt

The dead seem to be Muslim Brotherhood members. Not sure why I’m supposed to be sad about the death of terrorists.

The Egyptian Health Ministry says the death toll in clashes between police and supporters of the country’s ousted president has risen to 327.

A statement from the ministry on Thursday also raised the number of injured in the previous day’s violence to 2,926.

The clashes began when police moved to clear two sit-in camps in Cairo by supporters of Mohammed Morsi, ousted in a military coup on July 3. The clashes there later spread to elsewhere in the Egyptian capital and a string of other cities across the country.
