Putin says he won’t extradite Snowden

What else does Snowden know? We certainly can’t trust government to tell us anything.
Check it out:

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday he won’t comply with President Obama’s request to extradite NSA leaker Edward Snowden to the United States, a decision guaranteed to worsen frictions between the two countries.

Putin broke a two-day silence on the issue to say Snowden was in the transit zone of the Moscow airport, according to numerous reports from Moscow. Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that would put him out of reach of Russian authorities.

“He has not crossed the Russian border,” Lavrov told reporters in Moscow. “We consider the attempts to accuse the Russian side of violating U.S. laws, and practically of involvement in a plot, to be absolutely groundless and unacceptable.”
