Tear-Inducing Moment, Bruins Fans Paid Tribute To Their City

NHL: Buffalo Sabres at Boston Bruins

Wow… You have to watch.
Check it out:

In their first home game since the tragic Boston Marathon bombings earlier this week, the Boston Bruins spent the first few minutes sharing a heartfelt moment with their home fans during a pre-game ceremony.

Before the ceremony began, NBC showed an image of a Martin Richard shirt draped over the Bobby Orr statue outside TD Garden, and the Bruins took the ice to the Dropkick Murphys’ “For Boston.”

And then … the national anthem. I could describe it to you, but I couldn’t possibly do it justice with words.
