Chicago Schools to Start Sex Education in Kindergarten
Chicago public schools have mandated that sex education will now begin in kindergarten. They will learn the basics of anatomy, reproduction, healthy relationships, and personal safety.
Michelle Fields told Neil Cavuto that she thinks this is ridiculous. “What this is all about is hiring more teachers, hiring more administrators, and wasting more of taxpayers’ dollars.”
“Kindergarteners do not need to learn about the birds and the bees from a government worker. That’s the responsibility of parents. You learn that at home,” she said.
The school system released a statement reading, “It is important that we provide students of all ages with accurate and appropriate information so they can make healthy choices in regards to their social interactions, behaviors, and relationships.”
