Speculation: Biden could have 16-year VP term if he were Hillary’s running mate

Speculation about Hillary Clinton’s political future has followed her exit last week from the U.S. State Department. During this weekend’s broadcast of “The Chris Matthews Show,” one political reporter not only suggested that Clinton could run for president in 2016, but that she could potentially keep Joe Biden on as her running mate.

The idea of a Clinton-Biden ticket in 2016 surfaced when Matthews asked his panelists whether Clinton’s prospects for securing the Democratic nomination would be better once she left office, or as a part of the Obama administration.

Each panelist had a different take, but it was Time magazine’s Michael Duffy who brought up the possibility of Clinton and Biden joining forces.
