RNC: Ann Talks Love, Christie Talks Tough Love

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie brought the tough love in his keynote address tonight at the RNC. The Governor fired off as only Christie can — with fiery criticism of President Obama’s failed leadership.

“You see Mr. President, real leaders don’t follow polls, real leaders change polls,” roared Christie.

Christie stated that too often politicians choose the easy way out — the desire to be loved over the need to be respected: “Tonight, we’re going to choose respect over love.”

He explained: “I believe we have become paralyzed by our desire to be loved.”
