The President of the United States has avoided questions from the White House press corps for months on end. But he’s found time to stop by the set of ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and to do a hard-hitting interview with People Magazine. Now, the Obama campaign says that’s just fine and dandy — after all, people get their news in the grocery check-out line, too.

“I don’t think that they’re more important, but I think they’re equally important…I think that’s where a lot of Americans get their news. And I think the president’s going to continue doing that.”
