Democrats are attempting to tie the GOP presidential and vice presidential candidates to the offensive comments made by Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin. Despite the fact that Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan immediately denounced the congressman’s comments and called for him to drop out of the race, the left is heightening their attempts to suggest that Romney and Ryan agree with Akin.

On the official site for the Democratic Party, there is a banner that reads “The GOP is dangerously wrong for women,” and displays the photos of Romney, Ryan and Akin. In the same money-raising banner, a quote reads, “Romney, Ryan, Akin and the GOP want to take women back to the dark ages.”
