Senator: ‘Government Doesn’t Need Any More Money’

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said today that, instead of demanding more money, the government should be answering to the public for the money it’s wasted.

Speaking on the Senate floor today regarding Pres. Obama’s economic policies and call for a tax hike on small businesses and families, Sen. McConnell said:

“Yesterday, the President issued an ultimatum: raise taxes on about a million business owners to fund more government, and I won’t raise taxes on the rest of you.”
