Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin went on FOX News’ “Hannity” on Tuesday night and said Mitt Romney needs to light the conservative base’s hair on fire if he has any chance of beating President Barack Obama in the fall.

Palin said Romney needed to be “courageous,” “bold,” and “passionate” about his free market ideas and had to fight for those beliefs in a way that would allow him to get through the filter of the mainstream media that Palin said were nothing more than “lapdogs” for Obama.

Palin said if the Tea Party is not energized in the fall, it will be difficult to defeat Obama and “reverse course against bankruptcy and insolvency.”
