Obama Ad Says Romney Makes It a ‘Scary Time for Women’

A new ad from the Obama campaign targeting women says that Mitt Romney’s campaign makes it “a scary time to be a woman.”

First, a woman identified only as “Jenni” states, “I’ve never felt this way before, but it’s a scary time to be a woman. Mitt Romney is just so out of touch.”

Then, a female narrator continues, “Romney opposes requiring insurance coverage for contraception and Romney supports overturning Roe vs. Wade. Romney backed a bill that outlawed all abortion, even in cases of rape and incest.”

Back to Jenni: “There’s so much to do. [W]e need to attack our problems, not a woman’s choice.”

First, the claims of the ad are shamefully inaccurate; Romney has never been in favor of outlawing abortion in cases of rape or incest.
