Multi-Culturalism – a Modern Achilles Heel against Good Politics
In my recent article (“How Can Situations Like The Colorado Theatre Shooting Be Prevented?”), a thread emerged about Multi-culturalism. So I wanted to focus on that issue in this new article, being that it reveals a coalition that promotes the sin/dysfunction in our country (as well as countries abroad).
This was a response to my article, which started a thread about multi-culturalism. “W h a t w e h a v e i s a c o u n t r y t h a t w i l l n o t s u r v i v e m u l t i c u l t u r a l i s m . I t s a p l a n t o d e s t r o y t h e U S A , h a s b e e n a l l a l o n g .” Is he right? Not entirely, as I’ll be explaining in this article. But he is partially right. He is blaming an undercurrent incorrectly I think. It should be blamed on liberals, especially liberal activists.
And what is their motivation? They basically are unhappy people who have (what I call in my book The Plague Of Liberalism) a disease: freedom addiction. And why do they have this disease? Because they don’t feel free inside. So they then try to strike down barriers to be people being able to do whatever they want. But this is a psychodrama because it is using the mainstream institutions as a place where they can vent their emotion of feeling unfree. But they are attacking the wrong thing.
The real solution is in them merging with God and His love and His holy ways. (I know this personally, having lived on both sides of this issue – first as a successful musician, then as a Christian). But not only do they not see that, they fight to get God out of the society, incorrectly seeing Him as their problem because He is a source of rules.
But there’s a paradox here. It is those very rules that give us freedom and peace. “But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” James 1:25. So there it is. A simple formula. It’s in obeying God’s rules that gives us freedom and blessings. It’s a paradox because it doesn’t seem like more rules would create more freedom. I explain it in my book The Plague Of Liberalism with this analogy.
If a person were to live inside a very tall fenced area, that would hamper their freedom to explore beyond the fence. But what if there were ravenous lions outside of the fence? Now that fence looks a lot different. It now becomes a way to protect that person from
the lions. With the fence, a ‘feeling of unrestricted freedom’ is traded for ‘feelings of safety, relaxation and peace’. And in this society currently, there are many ravenous lions (such as homosexuality, drug use, promiscuity, demons, etc.) that usually lead to very bad consequences (sexual diseases, broken hearts, broken families, temptations to addictions, psychological diseases such as depression, insanity, emotional trauma etc.). And those consequences hurt and even kill people on a daily basis. And the existence of many of these lions can be attributed to the freedom experiments of liberals. So, given this, a person would actually be freer overall inside the fence. They’d be free to not be paranoid of the lions, free to relax and live in peace, free to put their attention on more pleasurable things, free to feel safe in their marriage and family life and neighborhoods, etc.
And those latter feelings were much more so in the 1950’s.
So now, given that case against liberalism. How does multi-culturalism come into play?
Multi-culturalism can actually be a good thing (and even the spice of life), as different cultures develop good things (Mexican, Chinese and Italian food come to mine) and not bad ones. But it’s only a good thing IF the new cultures RESPECT the established culture and APPRECIATE all that has gone before it to build it, and then WORK hard to CONTRIBUTE to making it even better. Then they in turn would be appreciated and respected. Instead now we have a number of cultures that not only don’t respect and appreciate what has been built and sacrificed for before them, but rather they’ve rebelled against it and have worked hard to move it in a negative direction. And the spearhead of that movement goes across all cultures: liberalism. And liberal activists have annexed a few of the subcultures in their war on the main culture (which was a much more beautiful culture when I was growing up in the 1950s). And the ones of them who have control over the media and entertainment industries (and most of the media and entertainment industries are run and participated in by bad subcultures) have set the sinful tone that has set the tone for peer pressure in the young. It starts at the top. Kind of like a satanic trickle down of social values.
And which subcultures are the ones that have been bringing down the country and not adding to it in a positive way? The ones that mostly vote democrat.
