Coming up this evening, “Piers Morgan Tonight” welcomes Academy Award winning filmmaker Michael Moore for his trademark brand of candid commentary, and human perspective.

Joining Piers Morgan for an exclusive interview that comes on the heels of Friday’s deadly movie theater shooting in Aurora, CO, the 58-year-old is frustrated by what he views as the selfish nature of Americans:

“We have to see that we’re a part of each other, and we have to take care of each other. The reason why they have universal health care in Canada and Britain, these other places? Because they believe if one suffers, everybody suffers,” he tells the “Piers Morgan Tonight” host. “That is not our mentality, our mentality is ‘I got mine, you get yours, and the hell with everybody else.'”

A decade since “Bowling for Columbine” – his groundbreaking 2002 documentary film exploring the causes for the massacre at Columbine High School – Moore is disheartened by a lack of progress:
