Rick Santorum Swears At Reporter

Rick Santorum portrays himself as the pious, family values candidate in the Republican presidential field, but that didn’t stop him from swearing at a reporter. New York Times correspondent Jeff Zeleny reports that Santorum swore at him in response to a question.

From Zeleny’s Twitter account:

In Racine, Santorum just now calls Romney: “The worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama.” Crowd applauds — tepidly.

Santorum doubles down on WI, saying: “The race isn’t over until the people of Wisconsin sing. We need you to sing a week from Tuesday.”

I ask Santorum if Romney is “worst Republican” to run. He says: “Quit distorting my words It’s bullshit.” He says he was talking health care
