How Planned Parenthood Hooks Kids on Sex

As Planned Parenthood kicks off National Condom Week tomorrow, it will also be actively engaged in selling sex to children as young as those in grade school with graphic videos and books.

The American Life League has compiled a video exposing some of Planned Parenthood’s disturbing materials that are presented to school-age children across the country.

“Any parent that sees the video of Planned Parenthood’s material for school children will be horrified,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president of the American Life League. “Planned Parenthood’s business model is aimed at making money from people who are engaged in sexual activity. Those are the women who will have abortions, which made up 51% of Planned Parenthood’s clinic revenue in 2010.”

In one section the video, “Hooking Kids on Sex,” talks about a book for 10-year-olds with graphic images about how to masturbate, put on a condom and have sexual intercourse.

“If a dirty old man showed this book to kids in a park, he’d be arrested,” said Sedlak. “Why does Planned Parenthood, a taxpayer-funded organization, get to distribute these books to our children and get more government money?’

The video also discusses Planned Parenthood of the Upper Hudson’s S.T.A.R.S (Seriously Talking About Responsible Sex), which required applicants to the program to be high school students and go to the sexually explicit Capital Pride.

I am still amazed at the people that support Planned Parenthood as it came about to abort black babies. I guess it has morphed into something else, but how odd that some other things did the same and are used like they were just invented. The phrase”Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, I am free at last” was first spoken by an old Jewish woman freed from a concentration camp in Germany by the American troops in World War 2. But try to tell that to some of MLK’s followers and they’d call you a liar. Giving kids the go ahead to have sex and to think that it’s ok as long as they can use a condom, or get an abortion later, is the downfall of our society. We don’t let 10 year olds drive……so why do we believe they are old enough to make decisions about anything? This is just another way that obozo is destroying the fabric of decency that for so long has given America the will to be, and is, the greatest nation on earth. These liberals are just trying to change a lot just to be changing. They don’t care about what this all will develope into years down the road. Semper Fi

  Well said! Planned Parenthood has even reached into what used to be wholesome programs, such as Girl Scouts. I refuse to allow my daughter to join Girl Scouts, and I will no longer buy their cookies or anything else they’re selling. I wrote the corporate headquarters of Girl Scouts, and the woman denied that they have an affiliation (on a national level) with Planned Parenthood. While they may, or may not push it on a national level, they certainly allow their various chapters throughout the country to work directly with PP. They’ve even been sponsors for various PP seminars. There is a clear connection between the two.

    We have a drug problem in this country. We need to fund a group to show our kids how to properly smoke drugs and shoot them up so they will not do it incorrectly.     These people profit from sex related businesses – including but not limited to selling abortions and contraceptives to very young people. They also profit greatly from the selling of “tissue” resulting from their abortions. It’s recently been reported that this even includes selling body parts of babies, some killed AFTER birth by abortionists. Neither they nor the schools they’re infiltrating have any business giving our kids “sex education” of any sort.
    
    It’s up to parents, not schools or profit-oriented organizations to educate our kids on the proper role of sex in their lives. What PP is doing is, in fact, undermining parents’ authority and contributing to the destruction of the traditional family – and it has nothing to do with legitimate education.

      Sex ed has been around for a long time. In 1970 I had to write lesson plans for Kindergarten sex ed in my college ed class. It is done in a completely age appropriaate manner. Yes, it is your job to educate your children in matters like this. However, most parents do not do this. It must be dealt with. Teen pregnancy and Aids, as well as STDs continued to rise every year. Yet children new nothing about proper sexual behavior and how the simple use of a condom would prevent all of the above. Sex ed does not promote sexual promiscuity. It merely educates people who would be engaging in this behavior with or without any educational benefits. There are still people who think you can get pregant by “french” kissing! Ignorance is not bliss in this day and age. You obviously have no experience with children and how they interact with each other when away from there stodgy paarents. Let them be educated. It is your job to then talk to them about what they saw, and shed sensible light on it. Not your horrifing, pilgrimistic, 1500′s point of view. Stop using my God as an excuse for your ignorance.

  Despite what information you get from Fox, Glen, Rush, it really doesn’t present the facts. Margaret Sanger was a woman who advocated birth control in 1921 so she is considered the original founder of PP. She belonged to the American Ugenics Society who believed based on scientific knowledge of the 1920′s that sterilizataion was a good thing for certain people……but it never included blacks. There was great prejudice against blacks, 1920s as well as current time. You can hate PP but gret your facts rights. There is no origin in aborting black babies. Keep your children totally ignorant of sex, if you want. Leave the rest of us alone. Go do something constructive like help poor people who belong to your Church.

      This couldn’t be more false. I was not educated about sex by my parents growing up. They ‘kept me ignorant’ (from above posts) and it resulted in me getting pregnant at 19…good choice, mom and dad! I went to PP for information and they gave me both sides of the fence. If I wanted to get an abortion, I had to have a private conversation with a physician there, as well as at the abortion clinic. (Oh yeah, PP does NOT do abortions! I have no idea why everyone keeps talking about them as if they do abortions! They are a gatekeeper to the abortion clinics for patients.) However, when they handed me the information on abortion, they also presented me with adoption options, and information on becoming a parent. It was a great mix of all sides, with the information presented, I was able to make the best decision for me after I had been given all the facts…by PP.

    At least in many California schools it is given out as early as 1st grade, along with the PETA comic book called “Your Mom is a Murderer” with a cartoon image of a deranged 50s mom slaughtering a bunny with blood splattering every where. What we didn’t have was all the advertisements for viagra, birth control, etc. and the movies and prime time shows with people having sex, jumping all over each other, etc. It isn’t just pp. It is the entire society that has lost all sense of decency. They try to claim that they’re about “women’s health”, including cancer screenings and such, and they claim that taking federal funding away from them will mean that millions of women cannot get the care they need. That’s a load of crap, straight up. First of all, they do a very small amount of those types of services. Secondly, many, if not most, of the women who go to PP have Medicaid coverage, which means they could get those other services just about anywhere. Most others have regular insurance, which means they can get those services about anywhere. It’s not like PP is the only organization that offers regular women’s health services. Wake up, man. It’s not that complicated.

So you have to close down all the Texas schools and replace them with religious schools who teach abstenance only. A great birth control that well didn’t work.       Sex education discussing same-gender relations will not turn children to be GLBT. Sex education when I was growing up was about male and female intercourse and it didn’t turn me heterosexual. I knew my sexual orientation before I started elementary school even though I didn’t know what it was called. I just knew that I was not interested in females. Although I tried it because everyone said I should, it was very unnatural to me.
      
      The Bible does not call homosexuality an abomination. The word was not even in existence at the time. Further, Sodom and Gommorah were not destroyed because of it either (everyone in those cities were not homosexual). The cities were destroyed because of their inhospitality, their treatment of strangers to the city and a couple of other reasons (read Ezekial, it actually spells out why the cities were destroyed). Additionally, the men who came to Lot’s home and wanted to have sex with the visitors (who were angels) were asking of Lot something forbidden by God which is that angels and humans are not to have intercourse. It was believed that by doing so, offsprings would be a type of super humans. Think Greek mythology, which really isn’t mythology-God just put a stop to it like he did with humans and animals procreating. The details of the story actually says that “all of the people” came to Lot’s house and wanted to ‘know’ (have sex with) the visitors. That would have included the women and the children.
      
      Just like the Emancipation Act had to come straight from the President Lincoln’s desk, marriage for the GLBT people will also have to be signed into law by Washington – no matter who the President is at the time, it will happen.
      
      The GLBT people are not against heterosexual marriages or traditional marriages. Why would we want to destroy the very environment we were born out of? Don’t be ridiculous. Heterosexuals are destroying their own marriages. Just look at the way you live.

1. Get a copy anf readi for yourself.
2. After reading it, if you believe the material is the equivalent to pornography the complain to local authorities and request they take action.
3. If local authorities do nothing then be prepared to make a citizen’s arrest, charging the person arrested with distributing pornographic material to minors.
The citizens’ arrests will have to be made several times by different citizens for local DA offices to become involved, so be persistent.

  I’m sorry, but I have to let you know that you are completely wrong about that. RU486 is literally an abortion pill, which a woman takes after she knows she is pregnant (usually in the first trimester) and it kills the fetus and causes a miscarraige. The “morning afetr” pill (called Plan B) is actually a strong birth control pill which stops the egg from even becoming fertilized within 72 hours of sex. It is definitely not allowed by catholic religious standards, but for those who support the use of regular contraceptives, they should be educated that that’s all it is. It delivers the same hormones that regular birth control does, and has to be taken before the egg is fertilized. If not taken within 72 hours, it is completely useless, and will not cause miscarraige.

A person who loves the excitement of indulging in some dangereous activity and claims that the public (the government) is required to protect his health and treat his injuries would be judged a fool. The truth is that most unwished-for pregnancies, are not caused by rape or coercion; most are the result of the “thrill” of sexual activity and ignoring personal responsibility by both the male and female.

Face it; most of the problems our society faces today are because of the failure of people to act responsibly. That is a personal responsibility in making choices – not something the rest of our family and neighbors should have to pay for. 2). Determine how many of them have already had sex, for how long, how often.
3). Does either partner use a protection or contraceptive device? Which partner? How often?
4). How many had any instruction about sex? From another person about their age? From their parents? From their religious adviser — priest, minister (pastor), rabbi, other? From their physicians? From Planned Parenthood?
5). Who has influenced them most about having sex? About using a protective device — contraceptive, pill, etc.?

Now, collate the data and tell us the numbers and percentage of those having sex who’ve learned about it and about protective/contraceptive devices from Planned Parenthood.

I suspect the data will reveal that Planned Parenthood has a minimal, perhaps insignificant effect, but I’ll want to scrutinize your data and the results.

People may not like Planned Parenthood, they may demonize it. But as long as it acts within the law those opposed to it will have to tough it out. Of course, they have every right to protest as provided by law and to try to change the law. Entering the facilities where Planned Parenthood operates with the intention of disrupting, destroying, or otherwise interfering with PP’s functioning is, of course, against the law. Those doing so should be punished as severely as the law provides.

With various exceptions in the operations of the federal government America is a country of laws. Civil disobedience like that of Ghandi and Martin Luther King, Jr., is perfectly all right, so long as those doing so are ready and willing to bear the consequences of their actions.

Since the dangers of homosexuality, explained above, are very real, society is not wise to condone it. Nor should it condone promiscuity in the heterosexual commity, and generally it does not. In traditional marriage, the expectation is total monogamy and fidelity. It is not always achieved of course, but it is certainly the expectation. I mean no disrespect or unkindness to you in these remarks. Everything I have said is based on the science in the matter, not any kind of hatred or ill will.

This is such a misleading article. But I’m not surprised.

The REAL TRUTH is that kid are experimenting early with sex because they sit with their parents watching television shows and going to the theatre with parents who are watching unmarried people have sex or even married [on the screen I'm talking about] people having sex. Even if they don’t see the full frontal…they get the message.

Children are having sex too early because television ads, billboard ads and internet ads (parents fail to filter those by blocking them and certain sites) showing provocative pictures/poses. Children are curious about what they know nothing about. Parents are embarrassed to talk to their children about it.

It’s natural to be curious. It’s not natural for parents to fail to their job by not training their children about when sex is right and what to do to keep your focus on just growing up before doing adult things.

Stop blaming other people, groups and/or organizations for failed parenting. I didn’t have sex when I was a kid because I wanted to be a kid. I didn’t want children and I didn’t want to catch a disease because I had chosen to be with someone who was busy having sex with other people. I didn’t have sex when I was a teenager because my single Mom (due to my Dad passing on when I was young) took the initiative to sit me down and at least give me the breakdown of not only of the necessity of waiting but also of the pleasures of being with the right one on the first time.

Planned Parenthood has very little to do with kids getting hooked on sex. Kids get hooked on sex because of peer pressure, boys and girls are taught to respect themselves and to respect the other person and because let’s face it…once you try it…you like it.

“Train up a child in the way that he/she should go…” and stop blaming other entities for your failures or even for your own child’s decision making skills.

The worst part of the video is what it left out! I have seen some of the material and because of my employer attended college “health and medical” expo’s where PP and other groups were there having contests like having girls simulate oral sex on sex toys and win by getting the toy to have an orgasm and ejaculate on the girls. This is all about making sex in public situations seem like a game; fun and harmless. No where at the expo’s where booths or discussions about responsibility, consequences or emotional effects of what the college kids were told was all just fun, experiment with everyone. One booth was an educational booth on how to find hook-ups and quickies on line and encouraged exploring many kinds of sexual orientation, after all you don’t know if you like it until you try it, many times!

As for college kids and many high schools condoms are generally free, the place I worked sold condoms in bulk to schools and we had Jn. High schools who bough in bulk justas high schools and colleges did.

I’ve been in High schools where the “health” teachers encouraged multi partner exploration and had private “tutoring” for advanced students. In this case one of my brothers was invited by a female teacher join the after school tutoring and was told exactly what to expect. She added that he did not have to feel uncomfortable as she would personally be showing the kids what to do and how to do it and having sex in front of the group with the students! He complained to the principle and our parents but was shut down and told if it was true he should feel complimented because the teacher was hot by the VP at his school. A year later the teacher was suspended under possible misconduct charges, she worked at that school for years. Makes me wonder how many kids had teachers like these?

Lastly, I have also had to attend Pride parades and this video was very censored in choosing not to show it all. Full and open nudity is constant, sexual acts on the parade routes are common including on the floats and displays. Dykes on Bikes (their term for themselves, not mine) is a group of naked and or topless bikers who ride in many pride parades and more that I care not to detail.

The point is that things are worse than this polite video implies and these images and events I was required to attend have left an image I will never be able to erase, nor will your kids be able to do so. You can’t undo something you’ve seen or experienced, no matter how you intend to proceed you can’t un-expose your kids once it’s released onto their minds and memories.

  carbonware: I don’t know who your employer was/is, but both male and female teachers have been prosecuted for having sexual relations with children–it comes under the child abuse law, more specifically the sexual exploitation of a child. As far as the nude paraders, well, San Francisco–where it is legal for ayone to appear nude in public and patronize restaurants sans ALL clothing–comes to mind. I don’t know of any other city that allows such events because there are State Laws which prohibit such behavior. Furthermore, if your job is so stessful then why are you still with that company? And who IS the company you work for? I want to know so they can be boycotted and reported to the appropriate authorities for failing to report the child abuse you witnessed. So, are you pulling our leg or tell us where these events actually take place. Readers will know if their community is allowing the commission of illicit acts in their schools.

The biggest problem this country has is NOT letting children be children. Some folks want them to be miniature adults, with all the responsibilities. Leave the children alone. I have never supported planned parenthod OR the pro-lifers because these orgaizations do nothing but create violence. Planned parenthood has been forcing itself into our school system for years–so this recent revelation is not a new agenda and certainly not a surprise. Most parents haven’t been payng attention to what the schools are teaching their children or even screening the textbooks they have been issued. Where parents have been involved, they have been vocal at PTA meetings or began home schooling their children. It’s time parents began taking responsibilty for what their children are learning. If the majority protest at the local level, there will be changes for the better. So how many are willing to stand up for their children’s PROPER EDUCATION or are they simply going to wring their hands and exclaim: “there’s nothing we can do.”

There is a big problem in our public schools; In particular, the indoctrination of these pre-school and Elementary grades! We are TOLD, the teachers are more important than the parents! It is turning into a copy of the penal system, (although, the penal system is also changing). The first item that should be instituted; NO Cafeteria! Children should be fed and clothed, by the parents! The present system of having the government feeding the children, is the reason for the breakup of many families. Next, the “teachers”, are are not teaching, but indoctrinating these children. Children are not being “taught” anything, but told what to learn!
Sex is a big subject of ADULTS, not children! “Teaching” children about the subject, is not informative to them, but the vicarious satisfaction of ADULT teachers!
