Rubio: Florida Primary Winner ‘To Be Nominee Of Our Party’

Print Friendly

Mitt Romney oozed confidence and a defiant Newt Gingrich seemed to acknowledge his momentum had been checked, at least for now, as Florida Republicans voted Tuesday to decide who gets the state’s 50 delegates, the biggest prize yet in the Republican presidential nomination contest.

Romney is heavily favored in the winner-take-all primary, the final and possibly pivotal contest in a high-stakes month in which the former Massachusetts governor has claimed one win and two second-place finishes so far. On Monday, he campaigned so optimistically that he broke into song.

Without predicting a winner or endorsing a candidate, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., told CNN on Tuesday: “The winner of Florida is in all likelihood going to be the nominee of our party.”

  • True Patriot

Marco Rubio's statement is not credible. Also, Rubio can't make a statement like that because many state laws prohibits the threatening, intimidating or doing anything sort of act to the public like this. I classify this as a threat because Romney is just another Obozo. Why do the DemonRats want him to win the Republican nomination so bad? See website: http://www.haasstrep68.com

    • Wayne

If that is true…then how did Obama end up as President except Chicago style politics as I recall Chicago style dictates strong arm tactics from beginning to end.Maybe they want him because he is not so different from Obozo.

      • SCSOCAL

George Soros has said that is doesn't matter whether Obama or Romney is in the White House, he will get what he wants either way. Now that is scary and people had better be paying attention.
Romney and Santorum are both Obama lite. Look at how they vote on issues and listen to their old speeches. They like Amnesty, Cap and Trade, abortion, and all the Dems programs.
If you want 4 more years of Obama, elect Romney or Santorum and it's guaranteed!!
Romney will never repeal Obamacare either which is what 70% of the nation wants done now.

    • Hipockets

      You are so right’

    • marcey

I HATE it when I see OBVIOUS jaded messages giving Rubio a bad time. IF you want my outlook I will bet that Romney will be the candidate for President and Rubio will be his Vice President…..What a winning team!!!!!!! I am 83 years old so I have had a LOT of experience in Politics (have held several local offices)…..I have known Gingrich forr YEARS and he will l"talk himself out" of any contest. He is overweight and thinks his younger wife and his "newly" reunited associaten with his daughters from his FIRST marriage will see him through…….not so. He is a blowhard and lacks everything including stamina to be elected.

      • stillmoral

I'm glad you made it to 83, Rubio supporting trash like Romney is disgraceful. I hope people remember how he is now becoming a RINO. Your obvious antipathy for a patriotic American like Newt Gingrich shows that you are becoming too old to make rational decisions. Newt Gingrich is the only patriot who wants to bring us back from the brink of Marxism. I will stay home rather than vote for a cult member liar lowlife like Romney. Sorry if you can't get over his private personal life, which he has recognized as sinful. You may be right that cult member Romney will be the candiate. I will stay home rather than vote for Obama white. However, Rubios is not Constitutionally able to be the VP as his parents were born in Cuba.

  • Sonny119

Marco Rubio stated, quote-  “Mitt Romney is no Charlie Crist,” Rubio said in response. “Romney is a conservative, and he was one of the first national Republican leaders to endorse me. He came to Florida, campaigned hard for me, and made a real difference in my race.” unquote-

This all about political payback.  which tells you that Marco Rubio is both an honest person who pays his debts, political or otherwise, but also one who is willing to distort the truth if need be, in the payment of that debt. Because Romney is far from being a conservative.

Note- It was the Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks who voted for, and thus, put Marco Rubio in the Florida US Senate seat, over Charlie Crist..  not the Republican Party RINO elitists of Romney and company. We view this sort of twisting and distorting of the truth, as standard political double backing betrayal and dishonesty, repugnantly repulsive..

It’s a shame that people who were given their place in power by the Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks, are now being stabbed in the back by the very same people who benefited from us, like Nikki Haley and Marco Rubio.

    • sonja

Marco Rubio was an Anchor Baby, lmao, his parents were not citizens when he was born, they became legal citizens many years after Rubio was born. With him, the Latinos etc. will be allowed to take over.

      • stillmoral

Anchor babies are born to people who came here illegally. Marco Rubio's parents were not illegal aliens when they came from Cuba. They established legal residency, and later became citizens. Thus you are incorrect. However, anyone who supports lowlife leftist LIAR Romney is no longer considered a Conservative in my book.

        • RacerJim

What matters is that Rubio’s parents were not U.S. citizens when he was born, therefore Rubio is not eligible to serve as V-POTUS or POTUS. That Rubio himself hasn’t publically acknowledged that tells me all I need to know about his character and opinions. :-(

          • bluebird

This could be the reason why Obamas' eligibility to be in office has not been addressed. Seems no one in Congress or Senate wants to take on that question since many of them agree with this amnesty idea and some, possibly Rubio are not qualified. You would think that this matter would have been cleared up and the public would be informed. Do we want another office occupier in government whom we know not the facts?

          • stillmoral

Rubio has joined the RINOS. He is in the book along with Chris Christie who has also shown his RINO colors by endorsing cultist Romney, appointing a Muslim judge and an openly homosexual judge.

    • Walker

I agree!! I am very disillusioned with Rubio. He does not have the integrity that I thought he had when I voted for him. I will not be voting for him again. :(

    • Frank

Yeah, I'm disappointed in Rubio, but now I understand why he did it. So thanks Sonny119. I still haven't figured out why Haley did it in S.C.
Big government politicians like Romney are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

      • CitizenArrestNow

Look… it's so very obvious THE FIX IS IN for Romney!! …obama will be running against obama!!!

I think AMERICANS should revolt by – all the conservative polls voting for >> NEWT > PALIN > SANTORIUM > RON PAUL … and then we combine the poll results, and we ALL UNITE and agree to run the two top winners as an INDEPENDENT ticket! And nobody vote Republican!!

      • stillmoral

Haley got a big donation to her campaign from cultist Romney, that's why the traitor endorsed him.

      • Karen

I am South Carolinian. Haley endoresed Romney because he had endorsed her, so it was more payback. It seems like Romney had seen the writing on the wall with tea party candidates winning in 2010 and used them to make sure he would have a leg up come 2012. In SC, we resented the fact that she was more or less trapped into endorsing him, because she has been a good governor, fighting the good ole boys and resisting Obama at every turn. She was smart enough to veto the Agenda 21 take over of 17 counties by the I-95 Corridor authority. A bunch of the good ole boys in the senate overrode her veto, but our House upheld it. I think Rubio may have been in a similar situtation, and I would not turn my vote against him on account of Romney. Romney is clever. After all, he got away with defrauding Medicare of millions of dollars before the company finally got caught and fined 119 million. That isn’t political spin. It’s history and is a mtter of congressional record. The company’s name was Damar, and he managed to sell it off to Corning. Corning put a stop to the scam, and Damar pled guilty. It was the biggest health care scandal of the 20th century. That’s the guy you think you want, eh Florida—with a huge population of seniors depending on Medicare. Well, you might just get your wish, and don’t say the tea party folks didn’t warn you.

        • stillmoral

She got a big campaign contribution from Romney. She wasn't trapped she was just playing political bs.

    • Jerome Daniel Ford

Enter text right here! Marco Rubio will get no more support from me

      • stillmoral

I AGREE WITH YOU. RUBIO HAS JOINED THE RINOS.

    • David

You know , reading this , I just thought, we work so hard trying to get people to see our way of thinking, and when we finally win one over and he becomes one of us , we won't accept it.

    • Lili

Please look hard at Mr. Gingrich, he has betrayed two women, don't you think he will betray us, he is also a very angry man. I myself do not lke that. And by the way too many people in congress do not like him who is going to follow him, he does'nt seem to be able to unite anymore than Obama.

I myself am a conservative woman and will back Mitt Romney all the way.

      • stillmoral

Yes he commited adultery. He has acknowledged that as sinful and asked forgiveness form God. While he was Speaker and in Congress before that he never betrayed us. He fought against the establishment. Where do you get this angry man stuff from, the MSM? I haven't seen an angry man in the debates I have seen a man who loves this country. The Republican establishment wants lowlife liar trash Romney and of course, they will lose because of this. Why would you ever vote for a man who belongs to a cult? Part of Christianity is forgiveness of sins, you obviously have not done that. You are just another brainwashed idiot unforgiving individual.

    • Mages

Sonny…Unfortunately, you are right. and Ileana and the Diaz Balarts have turned into bona fide rinos. $$$$$$talks and BS walks, that is the bottom line. You should see the faces of the old feeble cubans slobbering just because their "babies" are with Romney, like a herd. Ignorance is bliss, it is pathetic. But never the Cubans from old Conservative school. Romney is "Cuchara" and we know it.

    • ANNE

Well said Sonny. Romney is not a Conservative nor is he anything like Ronald Regan, and I wish people would get this straight.

    • Patty

I am from Florida and I can not believe that Rubio backed Romney…..Rubio is a true converative, but not Romney.
He will turn against us the same way Obama has done…..Romney will not have the guts to stand up to Obama in a debate….

  • Sonny119

With the National polls showing Newt with 4-8 point lead over Romney. I just hope the rest of the Primary States tells Florida to go screw itself, and they are not going to shove Romney and his Romneycare down our throats, like Obama and the Democrats did with Obamacare.

    • Skyknight

Sonny I agree, my votes with you.

    • sonja

Isn't that the truth, sadly, Romney won due to his stating just the other day that his father was born in Mexico, leading the Latinos in Florida to think that Romney was one of them. What a disgrace for Romney to make them think his whole family are Mexicans. lmao. He should have finished the story, telling everyone how his grandfather with his 4 wives left the United States & moved to Mexico due to the fact at that time there was trouble brewing over his grandfather having 4 wives, Mormon's you know. As far as the Senior votes he obtained, those Seniors have to be rich SENILE SENIORS. IDIOTS, I for one, am boycotting Florida, never like the State anyway, humid, sticky, can get eaten in your own back yard there, etc. They can keep it.

      • SCSOCAL

Romney won because he has the millions that the Super pacs are throwing at Gingrich in negative advertising!
When you break down the voting though, the conservatives voted for Gingrich. We are not done yet, there are many
more primaries to go. Support Gingrich with money for his campaign. Even if it is only $20. or less. We can help him win this if we act now. He can't beat Romney and the Superpacs and then Obama with his billions unless we help!!!!!

      • stillmoral

Florida has a lot of northern liberals who migrated there. Mitt Romney won by lying. I despise Mitt Romney and there is no difference between him and the Commie squatting illegally in the White House. It is already being leaked that he has no intention of repealing Obamacare. America to Mitt Romney, GO TO HELL YOU MORMON FREAK

      • Dianne

        Sonja,
Your biggotry is showing. You talk of Latinos and Hispanics like they don’t have a brain in their head to make their own independent decisions. Shame on you!

    • Walker

      I agree with you, Sonn!!

    • Guest

Thank you!!!! I am tired of the News Media ,including Fox, that our candidate is Romney. If I am correct, this primary season just started!!!!

      • stillmoral

I sent an email to Hannity today telling him I would not bother to vote if cult member lowlife liar Romney was the nominee. Time to inundate Fox, who is not as bad as the rest. to tell them how much we despise Romeny.

    • dave in houston

Sonny….you are spot on….Romney is no more a conservative than McCain or Graham, both liberal moderates with no party loyalty. (Isn’t Romney an Independent and not really a republican?)

    • Padremike

Sonny119 I live in Florida and the negative stuff from Romney was horrible. If one watched a local TV station there would be, without question, at least one, sometimes two, negative ads from Romney at every commercial break. Thank God for the mute button. Also, it may have been different if Florida did not have early voting. Quite frankly, it seems to me that Romney is the GOP's Political Machine's choice and I'm sick to death with Political Machines stealing our Representative Republic.

    • Bubba

I just wonder where Rumney got all that money He spent in Florida. Can’t help but wonder if Soros isn’t behind Him money wise to make sure that whoever wins the election, He will still be pulling the strings. Hmmmm

      • stillmoral

He's got Goldman Sachs behind him and all the other banksters who deserted Comrade Obama because of Dodd Frank.

    • Jerry

Man you are deaf and dumb both.

  • Michele

I sure hope this won't determine the nomination, Romney is a LIBERAL… PERIOD. Newt is the man we need to lead our country back to greatness!!!

    • dave in houston

I’d take Santorum any day over the other 3. I’m sorry the GOP no doubt had a big part in taking Cain out. The GOP will never get another red cent from me. Hell the Florida GOP is trying to ditch West, and Ohio is doing the same to the recent tea party winner.

I hope the current GOP leadership fries in hell along with Teddy

      • upaces88

I do like Santorum… I like him very much. I would like to see him as the VP "this time" and the President next time. HE needs that experience under his belt first.

      • OldNYFirefighter

The GOP thought they were going to tell West how to vote & it isn’t going to work. He will vote for the people that put him in Congress. The Liberals hate him which is in his favor as far as I am concerned. Romney is Obama lite. He is also no gun lover at all. In Massachusetts is almost impossible to get a Concealed Carry Permit & even Shotguns or Rifles are frowned upon. Romney never saw any anti-gun legislation he didn’t like.

Gingrich is wishy washy on handguns. Santorum is a member of the NRA & is pro-gun & pro Constitution, but even he is not a true Conservative. Romney will not work to repeal Obama Care, as it was modeled after the one he got passed in Mass. Newt might.

    • vgc

If you want four more years with BO then vote for Gingrich. The man cannot keep his own house in order, is not qualified to attempt to be the leader of our great Country.

    • Tammy

I couldn't agree more with you. I hope Newt shows the fight and determination that I know he is capable of showing; as they say over and over again this is the most important election of our lifetime!

  • Eli Jones

I happen to know that there are no guaranteed's in life. The top of a rail fence shall become the bottom & the bottom shall become the top.

    • Pamela Harper

All of the Floridians & everyone else spouting nothing but Romney need to look at the National straw poll…….Newt is on top. The republican establishment does not want Newt because he would shake up "business as usual."

  • Rich

Rubio, he's still in political diapers! He's not old enough to know much about Hard core politics! I think that he should climb back into his crib and learn a lot more before he opens his mouth.

    • Jon

He's also a front man for La Razza and the Hispanic Caucus seeking amnesty for millions of illegal immigrant felons.

      • fordman

He gave a speech the other night and started out speaking in spanish for his friends below the border. Our language is english and at least he could have spoken it first instead of spanish. No more votes for rubio.

        • RacerJim

He’s also not eligible to be V-POTUS or POTUS because his parents were not U.S. citizens when he was born. The GOP should stop “grooming” him ASAP!

  • Bobseeks

If romney is nominated, the GOP will be defeated in November and will never recover.

    • guest

Are you ever correct!!! The Republican Establishment , careerist/elistists are handing Obummer the election on a silver platter!!! Just more of the same.

      • lesstressrx

The Tea Party has let the people down. I know we don't have leaders but the people we elected haven't even taken a stand for Constitutional Fiscal Conservatives. In SC the Tea party endorsed Paul, Palin told them to vote for Newt, the religious leaders went with Santorum. Perry was in the race doing well in debates and speeches yet they acted like he wasn't there. I don't blame him for suspending his campaign. When the people that are suppose to be your supporters are so fragmented that sends a message loud and clear. The Tea Party Nation came out for Newt. Santorum is not a fiscal conservative yet people are voting for him while screaming they are more interested in jobs. Something is really wrong here. In S C DeMint didn't lift a finger to help any tea party candidate. It is now being reported we have lost our power. I can see why. Many of us are supporting Newt because we have no where else to go. What a mess.

    • upaces88

I am so sorry to say this, but you are right.

    • Robert Young

I agree and our great Country will go down the slippery slope to a third world country in the One World Government which Romney supports as does Newt and Obama. None of them would put our Constitution First. Vote Ron Paul President in 2012 as he is the only Constitutional Conservative still running.

      • RacerJim

Ron Paul’s wave the “white flag” foreign policy is enough to keep me from voting for him.

    • R F S

Its like 08 all over again. Once again they have picked a nominee that will lose to Obama and we are defeated as one nation undivided. The American voter today is responsible for the fall of once a great nation Only a few of us are not swayed by the lies and corruption in our own party but we are out numbered by those who only think of themselves.

    • Billy

I agree with you. There's not that much difference between Obama and Romney. After Florida win for Romney, we as a family decided tonight that we will not even bother to vote in November 2012. Romney is nothing more than an establishment RINO, like John McCain who will support his republican brethern to make themselves Richer than they already are.

      • RacerJim

There’s enough difference between Romney and Obama to vote for Romney if he is the Republican nominee. For one, I don’t believe Romney would continue Obama’s fundamental transformation of the United States of America into the United Socialist States of America.

    • chanticleer

Well, but that's the same thing they said in '64 about Goldwater. The Republicans were written off for dead by all the pundits after that loss.

  • http://ConsernitiveBiteJ Faith

Sonny 119—Well said and right on the mark…Incredable, I can feel the slap in the face of
    the Tea Party…

    • David

      Time for another revolution.

  • D Rash

I believe you are mistaken. ROMNEY WILL, be the nominee! I would make him my third choice, but we need to get used to it. There is nothing we can do about it, but hold our nosees, and vote for ANYBODY BUT OBAMA, who is the one we really need to run out of town on a rail!

    • guest

Voting for Romney is voting for Obama.

    • Bobseeks

Yes, let's abandon our principles and vote for somebody just as evil as maobama because we don't have the guts to run a true conservative. Boy, you sure are inspiring D Rash (is that for diaper rash?).

    • Karl Peters

The only real variable is in how fast the next president will drive us off the cliff.

      • halbates

Pretty darn fast – WW III by the end of 2012, I'm betting. But hey, we've survived 2 others, right? Maybe if we go off the cliff we'll find a new world of love & simplicity down there. No cars, no nuxe, no wars. But the pollution will get the next few generations until we find a cure for cancer. But if we get pharma working for the people for once, that should be no problem. See you down there, folks.

    • Frank

I held my nose last time around & voted for McCain. Not this time. If it's McRomney vs Obama, I'll vote instead for the best small government, Constitution-loving 3rd Party candidate. America's problem is big Unconstitutional government. So the one thing we have to avoid is replacing big Unconstitutional government Obama with big government McRomney. Eventually the GOP establishment will start to listen to it's base or go the way of the Whigs.

    • the fox

From what i've been reading , many conservatives are not willing to look at the whole picture. We may not get everything we want and who does? We must eventually come together in the end and support the REP. nominee, not cut off our nose to spite our face. We must get rid of this obvious marxist and his marxist supporters as soon as possible. Losing
in Nov. is not an option. Thank You!!!

    • Jstarusa

Another ploy by the liberal is to keep the GOP candidates going after each other, and not Obama. They should be up there bringing out the discredits of Obama and what they would do to fix it, period. All Obama has to do now is bring up each candidates faults that were brought out by each other. Pity…

    • Nathan

D Rash, I think you are right on. ANYBODY BUT OBAMA. There is a possibility that Romney may surprise many people and be more conservative than thought of.

    • SCSOCAL

Let's take a more postive attitude here and start giving money to Gingrich's campaign. It is hard to compete with the Romney Super Pacs and Obama's billions from George Soros, Warren Buffet, Phil Immel and the likes.

Get behind Gingrich and we can turn this around. It's only one state!! And we've only had 4 primaries!! Get a grip!

    • JoJo

True. Just proves that the presidency is for sale, and Romney has enough personal cash to buy it.

    • stillmoral

I will never vote for Romney. He is a cultist and a white Obama. I despise him for his Saul Alinsky tactics. I will enjoy Comrade Obama doing the same thing to him. Romney is despicable garbage.

  • VirgoVince

Hell NO!!!! You better hope not!! Long way to go til the nomination!!

  • Miss Kelli Taylor

Mitt Romney WINS THE FLORIDA REPUBLICAN PRIMARY AND ALL ITS ( 50) DELEGATES, CNN PROJECTS-( NOT RUBIO)

    • dlsimm

      …so who is watching CNN???

    • captelaine

All the news outlets can report whatever they want, but based on the maps I saw, Romney WILL NOT win all the Florida delegates… NO STATE that went early (and Florida was the REASON everyone went early a tactic of the Romney team btw) gets to allocate all it's delegates… I believe Newt won 2 Congressional districts in the Pan handle of Florida… so he will get the delegates for those districts… CNN doesn't know SQUAT about RNC rules.

      • Michele

You are wrong, FL has been penalized for voting early. Usually they have 100 delegates but 50 have been taken away, it is a winner takes all state. Newt does not get any delegates.

  • Miss Kelli Taylor

I'm not going to say anything else at all. I said a few words about Mitt Romney in a very nice tone of voice because i honestly sincerely

truthfully truly really do like Mitt Romney very much (100) percent. That's all I'm going to say. Bye.

    • ken123

There is not a dime's worth of difference between Romney and Obama. Both are Socialist and want to turn this country into just another socialist state like Europe. Mark my word, Romney cannot defeat Obama in a one-on-one race. Romney's health care bill reflects the Mormon philosophy espoused by the Mormon church and will only work until the country is broke,

    • David

      Good

    • stillmoral

Then you are part of the stupid electorate that got us Obama. Did you know that Romney's father was also a protege of Saul Alinsky? Lowlife pile of offal Romney ran his campaign in Fla just like Obama. He is the scum of the earth and belong to a cult.

    • GFR

Dear Miss Kelli Taylor. I respect your right to like Romney – but I don't share it.

He is waging an extraordinarily dishonest campaign. While we have come to expect that from the democrats that is not the way Republicans behave and it will backfire.

I don't want a candidate who is a liar – I want a candidate who tells the truth.

If Willard The Rat is our nominee I will vote a straight democrat ticket.

      • Patricia W

Sir, if you do that, then, it would make you no better than "Willard the Rat".

  • Phi

Mitt is not capable of leading this country back in the right direction ( although I would take him over the idiot sitting there now !!!! ) Newt has the finesse and capability to take the country in a direction that will provide some kind of stability which we need now. take it to the bank Mitt Romney will take us so close to the edge that we will think the great one got re-elected and one stumble has been more than we deserve as a society Wake up AMERICA before it is to late !

    • Hipockets

Very True' Romney is not our answer' He won't save us from Obamas's crap. WHo will ???Who knows' I'm just putting putting it in GODS hand,he's the only one that can save us ( and him to be in our Countrys stance for him;)

  • Paul Webster

I will not vote for Romney if he is the Republican nominee. He is just Obama-lite.

    • Melba

So who do you plan to vote for? Obama? If you plan to stay home and not vote, you are actually casting your vote for Obama. Please rethink your position and vote for whoever the Republican nominee is. We must get Obama and his henchmen out!!

      • GFR

Yes – I plan to vote a straight dummycrat ticket. We can't hope to move our cause forward if we are constantly undercut by the Republican Establishment. We need to get rid of these guys first and then go after the dummycrats.

    • Robert Young

Paul, I would not vote for Romney either. Romney, Newt, and Obama are all One World Government supporters and none of them would stand up for our Constitution. I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. I will cast my vote for the Candidate I believe will be best for our Country and bring us back to Government by our Constitution. If he is not the Republican Nominee then I hope he runs third party and I will still vote for him. Before you folks start screaming that a third party would get Obama reelected, let me say it makes no difference for any of the One World Government supporters will Destroy the United States and I will vote for the man who would prevent that from happening. Ron Paul in 2012.

      • Paul Webster

Ron Paul will NOT be an option. Newt isn't a much better choice. We need a conservative like Allen West or any number of others. NO RINO's!

    • Chris

Then sir you are a fool…….

      • GFR

I would suggest that the true definition of foolishnes is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Willard the Rat would be another McCain or Dole.

        ANYONE BUT ROMNEY

    • T Lady

I'll also leave that field blank on my absentee ballot.

    • David

Well then , it is going to be Obama- heavy

    • wog1

That statement is not a wise choice. With Obama you know what you have and everyone is assuming that Romney is the same where he is not. He voted for abortions but changed his mind. He voted with the Supreme Court and found that he could not in all good conscience do that so he changed his mind. It was against his beliefs to do so. There is much other trash that is promoted against Romney like he is a cultist. He may not be a true conservative like MB or Allen West (West is the one I really like). Newt is not a conservative by any means at least by looking at his voting record. Newt is a great debater that states his is conservative. But we elected a great debater last time and you see what we have. I believe with Newt you have to look at his record and not what he says. The same things goes for Obama, especially Obama. At least for now.

    • Wendell

Paul, please, rethink what you have said. This is exactly what the fraud and pathological liar in the White House wants. If you don't vote for Romney, if he is the nominee, then by not voting you are in fact voting for BHO!

      • GFR

I will be voting for BHO – we have to get rid of the enemies in our own ranks before we can hope to be successful against the dummycrats.

For 65 years the Republicans have conducted a slow, methodical retreat before the dummycrats. ENOUGH – I am no longer going to support someone who is just going to manage the rate of decay. We need to turn this thing around and get it going back in the other direction and the only way to do that is to get rid of the RINOs.

        • Paul

Take you dumb butt out of here and see if you have anything. You are a fool, if you think there is time to play games with the democrats. ANYONE IS BETTER THAN BHO, THE LIAR IN CHIEF.

    • Buckeye

I agree and voted for Newt, but just as I did with McCain, I will vote for anyone but the Commie. To not vote just ensures for more years and the destruction of our country by the leftists.

  • spelunker7

Let's stop all the bashing of our own candidates and get behind Romney. He is a strong experienced businessman with good government experience. He can draw the independent vote needed to defeat Obama. Rally everyone to support him and send Obama and his gang of thieves and thugs packing.

    • Teri

You better hope he can draw enough votes to defeat Obama from Independents and right leaning blue dog Democrats because I will NOT vote for Romney in November and I know a lot of other 100% Conservative voters that refuse to as well. And before I hear the whole " your throwing your vote away" writing in a candidate and "giving the election to Obama" … I held my nose and voted for the last RINO McCain and he got his clock cleaned by Obama any way! I want to be able to look myself in the mirror again. I haven't been able to since I voted for McCain!

    • upaces88

Yes, he is… He makes somewhere between $67,000 – $87,000 per day. He recently moved his $$ to the Grand Cayman Islands. The man is Obama in white skin.
I cannot get behind him. IF he is the ONLY one running against Obama, I will vote for him; but it won't change a thing…
the country will continue to go down hill.

    • Jackie

I am an Independent . And that is a lie. Probably put out there by Romney like all his other lies so far. I'd rather have Newt.

    • SCSOCAL

The Southern Christians will not support Romney. They do not like Mormons. They didn't support him last time and they
will not change their minds this time. A vote for Romney is just going to give Obama 4 more years!!! Wake up and give Gingrich some campaign money so he can fight Romney's Super Pacs and Obama's billions from George Soros, Phil Immel, Warren buffet and their ilk!!

    • ken123

Only reason Romney is running again is he collecting a debt promised to him for stepping aside in 2007 for John McCain, who is another elite in the Republic establishment

    • http://www.conservativehideout.com anticsrocks

Romney's father was pals with Saul Alisky. You can have Mittens all to yourself, spelunker7.

    • stillmoral

You don't seem to get it. There is no difference between him and Obama. It is already being leaked he is lying about repealing Obmacare.

      • Guest

Nothing to get, pal. He is a native born Christian, successful businessman, experienced in government, pays his taxes, gives generously, good family man, dosen't do drugs, and is honest to a fault. Obama is none of those things, plus we don't even know ehere he came from after three years in office.

        • stillmoral

You are ignorant. Mormonism is not a Christian denomination it is a cult. Why Mormonism is not Christianity:
Mormons will tell you they believe in the Trinity. That is a lie. Christians believe in One God in Three Divine Person, Father, Son and H.S. Mormons believe the Father Son & HS are three different gods.
Mormons believe when they are baptized they bring all their deceased relatives up from hell, baptism by proxy.
Mormons believe they will become gods when they die.
Mormon wear special underwear that they believe will protect them from evil
Mormons follow a self proclaimed prophet, pedophile sexual deviant named Joseph Smith.
MORMONS ARE NOT NOR HAVE THEY EVER BEEN CHRISTIANS.
He is a liberal liar who is also lying about repealing Obamacare.
Do your homework. This lowlife vowed to not just beat Gingrich, but DESTROY him. I'd say he's live up to his vow. What I will enjoy watching is when Comrade Obama does it to him He will get every bit of what he deserves and more.

      • spelunker7

Nothing to get, pal. Romney is natural born Christian, good family man, successful in business and government, intelligent, dosen't do drugs, honest to a fault, pays his taxes, gives generously to his church, and loves this country. Obama is none of those things.

        • GFR

Not honest – Willard the Rat LIES. And doesn't even flinch when he does so…

    • bluebird

Romney is the establishment candidate, not the peoples'. And for this reason I feel that republicans will lose the election again. The same old payback mentality exists in the party and the peoples' voice will not be heard. The tea party has to stand together and get on the same page for us to have a win in Nov.

  • just wondering

If Mitt is such a staunch conservative, why is he working with RINO repubs in voting out congressmen Allen West of FLORIDA??

    • upaces88

I think West is a great man!!!!

      • fordman

Allen West is better than Romney any day. I refuse to vote for Romney. All the states haven't voted yet so how can they say Romney is the man? I hope they all write in Ron Paul.

      • Kay

I do too. I will not vote for Romney. How can the man be a Mormon and a NWO elitist in the same breath? Just don't understand

    • CFM

I listened to Allen West tonight and he is very intelligent and conservative. Allen spoke well of Newt – my choice for the Republican candidate!

    • T Lady

I know. I heard about the redistricting for Florida 22 and was peeved. Once again, Conservatives and T.E.A. Party Activists get slapped in the face.

  • Teri

I seriously hope not! There are 46 other states who get a say and it is arrogant to assume this!

    • Hipockets

Don't you know the little staes like Montatan don't count' It's already in the bag before we ever get to vote' Our votes don't count' We're too big of a state and too little population to even get into the picture'

Why should East Coast wackos decide anything for this country?

    • Jon

  • http://middlepeople.org/middlepeople-blog.html ThinkFirst1

85 of 2,000+ delegates chosen and we are told to lay-down, cut-and-run, surrender hope for a conservative nominee?

    Huh?

There is plenty of time, money, and voter-interest in a new candidate (or a ticket).

I propose Coburn-West or Scarborough-West (a ticket can defend one-another, raise more money, cover more ground, unify more voters).

    Don't buy the Romney-media Romney-surrogate propaganda – DO SOMETHING!

    • SCSOCAL

No to Scarborough, he has turned in to a lib and is on TV every day with that other lib woman! I used to like Joe but he
turns me off now. I do like Allen West though.

  • Robalou

If Romney ends up being the nominee, we are SOOOO F***ED!!!!!! This will be the death knell for the Republican Party….Without a real conservative candidate, all we have is an OBAMA clone….which is Mitt Romney…. If Romney is the nominee we have no choice but to vote for him in the hopes we can get rid of DUMBO, and then form a true conservative party…No more of this Republican establishment crap!

    • Larry Kendrix

Thanks alot STUPIDS of FLA… for voting in ROMNEY

    • Hipockets

So what is the answer???' We evidently have no choice' It's decided for us by the powers that be(probably Romney's boys and the media') Obama's crowd has Romney in their pocket and wants us to vote for him because they know they will beat him or he will be just about like them. So my advice is DON'T vote for him'

      • scott leahy

I totally agree. The conservatives cant be taken for granted anymore. The Tea party was used and abused by the GOP and should sit out this election let Obama win and then truly go on their own, pointing to 2016.The thing that boils my blood is that the fix was in after they got Cain out of the picture. These gutless wonders wouldnt even give the conservatives an option to vote for one of their own.

    • lucky7m

I agree, When George Soros comes out and says it makes no difference to him whether Obozo wins or Romney wins that should tell you Romney is just another liberal with an R behind his title! Vote Newt 2012!!

    • Wendell

      Robalou, I'm with you 100%!

  • Wayne

My buddie Newt lost in Florida. I was pulling for him.

    • Ann in Nebraska

I was pulling for our buddy Newt, too, Wayne. Guess I'll have to work harder for him so he wins Nebraska's primary in May. No problem for me. Romney is too left to suit me.

    • VirgoVince

Keep the faith, he'll survive, Romney is disliked MORE than Newt is!!

  • karen

I sure hope not cause I don't want Romney. He is too left for me.

  • DrRGP

While Mr. Romney's nomination is not "inevitable," it is still very, very likely. On another point, Senator Rubio (pictured in this article) does not need to gain weight, not another single pound, especially if he hopes to be on the Republican national ticket (as the vice-presidential candidate).

    • Carmelo Junior

Everything will come down to Texas, New York and Cailifornia. The only one that can stop RomneyCare in California is Sarah Palin.

      • SCSOCAL

The midwest and the south will way in and they will not vote for Romney. So we will be screwed if Romney gets the
nomination. Send Newt money so he can fight the super pacs and Obama's millions. He needs our help now. He
        can't compete without money!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jackie

Rubio cannot be Vice president. I wish he could. We would have the same problem with him as Obama. He is not a Natural Born Citizen.
He is not born of two American citizens. He is a citizen but not NBC. As the constitution requires for President and also for back up President. Although he is terrific, and great to have in Congress.

    • ken123

Don't dismiss a good third party candidate. I Ifeel certain one will appear before the general election. We the voters will have to vet him/her ourselves because we can't trust the liberal media todo its job.

    • Roy

Senator Rubio is a good man and will serve our country well. However, he is not eligible to serve as President or Vice-President. He was born 4 years before his parents became naturalized citizens. Article II Section 1 and Amendment XII of the Constitution of the United States. I'll admit that he is far more qualified for either of those offices that the usurper sitting in the Oval Office now, but he is no more eligible.

      • stillmoral

Rubio is a traitor to the people who helped him get elected. He is falling in lockstep with the RINOS already.

  • Hans

Romney won because he showed he can debate and win.

He spent a lot on ads, but exit polls did not show that was as

    big a factor as debates.

The other interesting factor was that he had almost 2 of 3 of the

woman’s vote. Gingriche’s x-wife factor is now beginning to take

    effect and will continue.

    • stillmoral

Romney won because he carpetbombed Newt in Fla. His ads were all total lies and distortions. The imbeciles, northern liberals, believed that bs and voted for him. Just shows you what a lying sack of sh#t Romney is. He is no better than Obama. MITTENS ROMNEY IS A LOWLIFE LYING PILE OF OFFAL. OBAMA IN WHITE SKIN. IF HE ENDS UP BEING THE NOMINEE, THERE WILL BE NO POINT IN BOTHERING TO VOTE.

      • David

I don't agree. Obama hates our country and is out to destroy it. Romney is not like that.

  • icouldahad

That is an extremely arrogant statement by Rubio. He has truly turned his back on the TEA party that helped him win, as Sonny119 so brillianty explained.
I can imagine there being some blowback from the people in the rest of the states who will not like to hear that Floridians believe their voice dictates the final outcome. Hopefully that will be enough to put people off from voting for Mitt.
What I also look at is the amount of money that needed to be spent for that win. I heard on the news that $18,000,000 was spent on ad campaigns, the bulk being spent from the Romney camp. And where did that money come from? Goldman Sachs, Barclays Bank, etc – all Obambi's old backers. It's disgustinlg.
Give me a Republican nominee backed by We the People, not globalist banksters.

    • Allan

Dear icouldahad – If you want a Republican nominee backed by We the People, not globalist banksters you will have to vote for Ron Paul.

  • jack

I'm a resident from Massachusetts and I'm very familiar with Mitt. He'll do anything and say anything to become president. He's the biggest flip flop pol there is. Romney care in Mass. is a disaster. It's mandated like Obama care and the cost is unbelievable and still going up. What you hear on the news about the wonderful job he did in Mass. is just plain boloney. This state is run by a majority of corrupt democrats who have indicted and convicted as felons three speakers of the house in the last ten years. So when you hear news of how wonderful a job Mitt did in Mass. with the majority of democrats, you better think again. It just didn't happen.

  • Lee

How about we take it to the convention and make West the Republican candidate. After the first vote at the convention we can elect anyone. I will not vote for Romney or any other RINO establishment selection. We may need to have that 3rd party for the next go around. The conservatives have voted for the establishment selection for years and look what has happened to America. Romney is a liberal. Look at his legislative record and the judges he appointed. Newt is a conservative. Look at the legislation he passed. He was punished because he tried to make changes like term limits. I watched it happen.

    • stillmoral

I would love to see Newt and Allen West as running mates. West would be a great choice for VP

  • proud vet

  • Jackie

Again, even when the people have spoken that we want a real conservative. We are having a Washington progressive liberal forced upon us by the powers that be. There is no way Romney can beat Obama. No one wants him. He is merely a white Obama.

  • Thunderbob

The answer to the headline is: NO! there is still a lot more to go! But, when the last delegate vote is received, I will setting my anger aside and voting of the Republican. There is no way Obama should get back into office, especially if we put all our angst aside and support the individual! Without that be prepared to become a Socialist or Communist country under Obama, his Unions and fellow Socialist. Then you can have all the differences you want and it won't matter, because you won't matter! Perspective, we have to keep this whole thing in perspective! Free or bound? It's our choice!

Florida should have backed Ron Paul. Of course this is true for the whole Nation if we want to resurrect our Constitution. I'll bet the GOP would have dropped their teeth if Paul had taken the lead in Florida. Hopefully, he'll make up for it in Nevada, Maine, and some of the other States that have not (I hope) been snowballed by the CFR picks the GOP is pushing.

    • stillmoral

Get over it. Ron Paul is a nutjob and has almost no support because of it.

      • orples

The people that are handing America to the next CFR puppet(s) are the nut jobs. Anyone that thinks either Gingrich or Romney is going to restore our rights is a fool. Follow the money trail and look at their affiliations and memberships. Do some background research. Of course, maybe you don't care about our rights, our Constitution, or our Sovereignty.

        • stillmoral

I have done plenty of background research. Romney is a leftist. Ron Paul is a total and complete nut and a liar. And I am absolutely sick and tired of you paulbots with your gd conspiracy theories.

  • Erica

What? We have a “we the people” candidate his name us Ron Paul. If all you would stop being ignorant & quit listening to Rush & MSM and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH I’m quite certain you would see PAUL is our ONLY hope. He’s been right on issues & predictions for 30 years. Notice how they cant debate his record like the other 3 morons? Notice the media ignores him? It’s because they along with the establishment are Shaking in their boots. They won’t have all the control over you anymore.. freedom will be restored!

    • Timothy Yorgan

I agree with you, Ron Paul is not nuts and is solid on the constitution but and for the life of me I don't know why, he isn't a friend to little Israel. The very people who are constantly saying "God Bless America" and then turn on Israel, are messing with real danger. Call me a Bible freak all you want but every time we miss treat those sons of Abraham (not Ishmaels seed but from Sarai, Isaacs seed) we experience calamity.

  • dajjal

More than half of the electorate favored someone else over Mitt. Four states have voted out of fifty. Stop with the self-fulfilling prophecies and let the voters choose, deliberately.

Do not waste your vote on looks, a slick tongue or 'electability'. Vote for the candidate who will make the best President and to Hell with the experts, endorsers, pundits, media & polls.

  • johnwayne337

No, it does not mean he is the presendential nominee, there are still 46 states in this union who have not had a chance to show their preference.

And we have watched the lying negative ads just as we have watched the con in the WH lie, and we are mad and want our voice too, because Romney can still lose

I know it is very rough guys but don't give up, when he comes out w/negative ads come back with a postive response of your record, do not lower yourselves to be a liar-Americans are sick of liars!

  • L.E. Liesner

I certainly hope not. I'd hate to hold my nose to vote this time too.

  • lu shissler

  • WillyT

There are too many tax sucks to have a "true conservative party". Until and unless the entitlement mentality is restrained all we can hope for is the least harmful entitlement appeaser in office. It's the only way they can get elected is to pay off the freebie generation (everyone born after Roosevelt). These folk (all of us) have been convinced we are feeble and can't live without the nanny state – not all of us mind you but enough to make the liberal president the first choice.

  • dave schwolow

I sure hope and pray that Florida it is not the last word. One thing I am sure of, America does not need a romney or a gingrich as POTUS! I will hope and pray that Mr. Santorum or Mr. Paul begin to rise above the money and B.S. that the GOP, RINO’s, like Karl Rove and the rest of the established republican party will be putting together. I hope and pray the American people are not buying into this crap again as we were led to with MCain in ’08. We don’t need to just oust obama, we need an American HEART and SOUL in OUR White House.

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you werent a racist, then vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you aren't an idiot.

  • saalfeld major USAF

Well, all you can say is that it's a black day at black rock. It tells you plainly that people are ignorant. Thats why we have Obama. All of these candidates have some negatives but Gingrich has the ones that least hurt. The people are ignorant because they listen to all that money buys. Romney has a lot and Gingrich hasn't. I can tell you that I have managed a lot of people in my life and am a very astute judge of peoples character. Romney is a slippery slope and if we get him be prepared for Obama type operation. All you have to do is compare his medicare program with Obama's. Virtually the same. I feel that people can still wake up and believe in Gingrich's roses. He can right this ship and has been a tremendous patriot these last several years. If Newt can make it he would be considerably enhanced by having a vice president such as Caine who knows how to carry on business. Please people, wake up and smell the roses and quit cookin fish on the burner. It stinks up the house

  • Guest Rose

Newt the best yet. He has a wealth of knowledge, had some hard knocks, a real fighter, not sickening sweet
like some of the others. Made enough mistakes to keep him humble, he has my vote.

  • Jackuline Ragan

Three candidates all with one state under their belt, now Romney took his 2nd state and the race continues to the rest of the
states! With all this diversity in these states and the polling results only reflects that America is at least being very cautious
with their vote perhaps more than in the past as it reflects how very important this election and just how vital the results!
I am one of those voters that even believes that Santorum could catch fire with a sudden surge to defeat them all then Obama!
So there, I am so looking forward to casting my own vote when it comes our turn! Long as we defeat Obama with a conservative
then perhaps America will still have a "surviving" chance to restore our exceptionalism!

  • kabster

Only a very very small potion have voted, 4 states I believe. There are FORTY SIX MORE STATES TO VOTE .

    RUBIO SHOULD STFU

    Just say NO flip-romney.

  • wpb83481pt

Mitt Romney is at present the front runner. There are some other States that will weight in on this also. Just because you win the Flordia Primary, that doesn't mean you will win the nomination. As Newt gingrich stated today, there are 46 other states in this thing.
I can't stand Romney, myself, but if he is the nomination winner, i will have to vote for him. A vote not cast for the Republican ( I CAN ) person, in the Gerneral ELECTION, is a vote for " O B U M E R " . Simple as that.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I say Go Go Go Newt.

  • Duane Grindstaff

Question is, how can Romney win against Obama, when on all important issues, he's nothing but a mirror image? Republicans must secretly be very happy with Obama because the only candidate, who is really any different is Ron Paul, and he gets zero support from the Republican Establishment.

  • DoubleM

I would find it very hard to vote for Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich for president of the United States of America. I will not vote for a RINO. I will never vote for Barrack Obama like some of YOU did in 2008.

  • PATSY S.

I have been thinking about someone that we could run against Obama'. Itwill have someone that has more money than Romney. oh! I have it ,Warren Buffett or George Soros . It is a sorry day for this country when election of our President has to have MONEY towin an election.also a person has to be perfect to run. You know if GOD has forgiven Newt , ARE WE GREATER THAN GOD THAT WE CAN NOT FORGIVE, GOD always chose people to do great things that we never would chose.

  • DocJohnM

Romney wins one state and is projected the winner? I have trouble with such a projection, no matter who makes it. I find Romney to be the white version of Obama. He's being called a conservative, in a pigs eye.

  • craig

Why don't people wake up, Newt is a much better candidate! Who wants some bozo who designs Socialist type health care plans? The real stopper is a statement by George Soros who said that there is very little difference between Romney and Obama. Why would anyone want an Obama clone??? Is the country totally out of it's collective mind? If Romney is so acceptable to Soros, why would anyone in their right mind vote for him???

  • Patsy S.

Me too , Go GoGo Nrwt.

  • Timothy Yorgan

Maybe I don't get it but aren't there 46 other states that have some say in who the nominee is? It sounds like we needn't bother with any more of the process because of Florida.

  • RoscoTeel

The Repub establishment pretty well set the plate for Romney. Newt was ripped by Romney's attack team. Shame that if Romney wins the nomination that he'll avoid criticizing the Obama. The Republican elite is far more viscous, far more nasty when it attacks conservatives than when being not very nice to Obama.

I pray that Romney does NOT get the nomination and we have 26 more states to go for the final answer. Newt can beat 0. The "good ole boys" are still calling the shots and We the People need to wake up to the fact that we really "don't have a vote" after all. I will still vote but it is almost not necessary. I am already getting tired of hearing all the ramblings of those "in the know".
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 17:4 An evildoer listens to wicked lips; A liar pays attention to a destructive tongue.
Prov 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
Prov 7:15 He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.

Only problem is, ALL politicians are wicked.

  • finian

What happens if we get Romney in the White House, and the Republicans take the House and Senate? I know what I think is going to happen, how about the rest of you?

    • halbates

      What?

If you were watching the voting results on FOX Cable tonight, and saw the speeches by Romney, Santorum, and then Gingrich, you might have noticed the vote count by counties on the right side of the screen. If you were PAYING ATTENTION, you would have noticed something interesting. Newt was winning all the smaller counties, the ones with the lower vote count. Mitt was winning the counties with the large population centers, such as Miami. Mitt was winning in the major population centers where there is more DIVERSITY (I hate that Democrat code word). Could that be because Mitt carpet bombed those counties with his millions of dollars worth of ads, or was it because of that diversity, and therefore, a more moderate or liberal populace. The commentators on Fox, of course, never noticed how those votes were swinging. They also had a map of Florida that annoying 'floated' around the screen, so we never got a good look at it. (I have HD TV). But quick glimpses of the map showed what looked like just as many green (Newt) counties on that map as red (Mitt.) So I think that Newt took the CONSERVATIVE vote, and with the proper financing, he can still win this nomination.

  • R F S

I wish people would realize that Newt is the one that the liberal media is worried about. CNN was out to get Newt for attacking them in S.C and if you have noticed every time he has been the front runner they have came after him. They did it in S.C. and it back fired on them. He got the best of them So, they did their best to make him look bad in the debate in Florida asking the questions to have him and Romney arguing. That was their plan all along to make him look weak and give Romney the opportunity to get at him. Newt was trying to avert the questions back to how they could defeat Obama. I turned it on CNN after the debate and they were practically patting Wolf Blitzer on the back for not letting Newt get to him like he did John King. Newt was Completely set up to make him answer that question and it worked.

They are all the same ,,,just ask why two pieces of legislation, with mass congressional approval do the same thing,,Install an instant govt dictatorship. The Patriot Act and National Defense Authorization Act . One Republican ,,,One Democrat. Simple Two Party's, one Agenda.. The theft and Destruction of this Country. But it is always the other party.. Right keep believing that..

  • Peaches

My husband either heard or read somewhere that George Soros didn't mind who gets elected – Obama or Romney. What does that tell you about Romney? Another thing – think about what the talking heads are saying about the number of negative ads against Newt in Florida. I heard a good one tonight from J C Watts from Oklahoma. "Dogs don't bark at a parked car." Newt may have baggage, but at least he also has a CONSERVATIVE VOTING record. And why is Romney willing to spend so much money to defeat Newt? And how will Romney and Obama ever have a debate? They are too much alike and Romney Care isn't baggage? Just saying–

  • Texas Pat

Oh…Obama will probably be back in four more years because our party is so split up in so many different directions. Any one of the candidates would be better than what we've got now. We know what Obama has done to bring our country down, but we don't know how good our final candidate will be until he gets in and shows us. We have the Paul people who are going to take their marbles and go home if Paul doesn't get it, and now, we have people saying they will not vote for Romney if he's the candidate because he's too much like Obama. NOBODY is like Obama!!!! Get him out of there; come together and vote for whoever is finally selected. Yes, I wanted Gingrich, but if Romney gets the nod, I'll get everyone I can to vote for him. Either there are a lot of Liberals coming on this site raising hell about Romney, or we've got a lot of totally screwed-up conservatives here.

  • http://None Pyrope

Today, the odds favor Romney. I don’t like it but that’s the way it is. We know candidates have a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so anything can (and probably will) happen between now and convention time.

I will leave you with one prediction: If the Repubicans (not a misspelling) do not defeat the Deficraps (also not a misspelling) for the White House in 2012, it will mark the end of the Repubican Party.

Since nature abhors a vacuum, the emergence of a viable third party (one that can and WILL win national elections) will become the reality I predicted some 20 years ago. As it is now, ~40% of the electorate call themselves “independents;” all they are lacking is the unifying cause to become that third party.*

*If a third party does not emerge, there will be only one party in our future; it might have a different name but it will be the equivalent of the Socialist Party of Amerika.

  • John Hand

I wrote a long piece describing how tonight, Newt took all the conservative counties. If you watched the vote count on FOX, over in the right side of the screen, you would have noticed that Gingrich was taking all the counties with smaller vote counts. Romney was taking all the counties with major population centers, the more 'DIVERSE' counties. Is that because Mitt ran his ads in those counties? In any case, Newt took the conservative vote, and that floating map FOX had on screen but never really let us have a good look at, showed just as many green(Newt) counties as red (MItt). So this election is not over. As I said, I wrote a longer piece than this, and it has not showed up, so trying again.

  • Dan

This is unreal. Romney? After dealing with Bush, Bush again…..why can't this party get it? I hope Newt, Paul, or anybody else can defeat this guy. If not, it's hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. Ugh. Flashbacks of McCain.

Thank you, Republican party establishment, for pimping another candidate at the expense of legitimate conservatives.

  • http://ActionAmerica.org/ John Gaver

Rubio hits the nail on the head. I just heard on Fox that the GOP candidate that wins Florida always goes on to win the nomination.

As a result of tonight's win, Romney will get a large influx of funds, while Newt is going to have more and more trouble finding funds. All of the February states strongly favor Romney and each state that Romney wins will get Romney more funds and Newt less. By Super Tuesday, Romney will be flush for all of the necessary media buys and Newt will have just about enough money to buy a 15 second spot, between infomercials, at 3:00 AM, in Bismark ND. He may want to keep running. But ego doesn't pay the bills and it's lack of money that gets candidates out of the race. He's done.

Obviously, the Secret Service must think so, too, since they've assigned agents to Romney and not Newt.

  • Susan

Why is Florida so important? If that is the way it is, why bother wirh any other primaries. Florida will not make my choice for me or any other state!

  • Ultor

Yes, Florida win guarantees Romney will be the GOP nominee, which is as close as he will get to the Presidency. Going negative on Gingrich is one thing, going negative on the darling of MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Time Magazine, NY Times, Huffington Post, Bill Marr, and every university professes is another. Each of these loves when Romney spends every cent every entity has given him on Gingrich, but once the nomination is secure, Gingrich will be made to be the victim of this vile Massachusetts flip-flopper, who won in a dishonest way (as true as that is), and only won because of rich-white-corpratists (also true). By the middle of October, congressional republicans will be running from Romney's poll numbers, and each of them will be happy to toe the establishment party line. Santorum handed Romney the nomination, and Romney handed America an Obama second term, and the people who voted for Romney, deserve another Obama term.

  • JoJo

Well, if Romney ends up being the republican candidate, then the next time around ANYONE with enough money can buy the presidency too! And to think we all thought the system was fair….The winner take all has to stop.

The "only" different between Romney and Obama is, one is black and the other is white. Romney is nothing more than a RINO from the word go! He is playing the people for idiots just like Obama did. Is America enjoying the koolaid that much?

Here we go again, the good ole GOP is choosing our candidate for us right out of the box. NOT! Look at the make up Florida's citizenry, an awful lot of folks from the northeast that have retired and moved there. What should we have expected from them? Newt is going to have to win a lot on super Tuesday and beyond because he is not going to be on the ballot in Va. or Mo. so we better get busy. If Romney wins the nomination I fear that he'll end up being just like McCain and lose to obama. The problem with him is just like McCain's problem, neither one can stir the real conservative base to get the votes needed to win.

In poll after poll only Romney or Paul have the potential to beat Obama. Like Romney, his supporters will flip flop on who to vote for. Like Paul, his supporters wont change their minds. We will write him in. We understand how serious our nations crisis is and know he is the one who will fix it. The others are just gonna slow down the crisis. The republicans wont win in November without our support. He has nearly half the support of people under 30. Its growing daily.

  • Tejanojack

I hope Newt hangs on. He owes it to those of us who have been his early supporters. In '08, I was very disappointed when Thompson dropped out right after we sent a nice contribution. C'est la vie, c'est la guerre' c'est les pommes de terre!

  • Tejanojack

One thing I will say, is that Republicans need to set up a more equitable primary process. States, whose delegates are not committed by caucuses, primaries and straw poles, should be at the end of the process. Better yet, Republicans should have a "Super Tuesday" with ALL primaries.

Furthermore, state delegates should be awarded proportionally to the primary votes. Basically, winner take all primaries disenfranchise a large percentage and often a majority of voters in a party. Florida is a perfect example. Tonight, Romney wins, but he still carried less than half the Republican Party.

Accordingly, I will add that we Republicans better be ready to suck it up in November, because Romney will not defeat Obama. The day we nominated McCain, I said we just elected Clinton or Obama. Romney will just join the lengthening string of loser Republicans whose turn it was to run. There is too little to distinguish between Romney and Obama. We’ll just be running our snoozer liar for their snoozer liar. V/r

  • Patsy Cochran

This comment from Rubio surprises me a little. Rubio was voted into office by conservative Christians and the conservative Tea Party people. Newt Gingrich has unofficially said that he wants Rubio as his running mate: so this really does come as a surprise. Romney claims to be a Republican conservative, but we all know this to be false. He has in the past promised to not change any of the Mass. laws protecting abortion and even promoting the judicial interference of minors wanting abortions who cannot get the consent of one parent. In Florida, he is now being promoted as pro-life by anti-abortion groups. Who do we believe? I have heard him claim that he would not allow change to those laws in Mass. He is also for socialized medicine. In my opinion, this makes him very liberal and he did not get my vote. If he is chosen as the Republican candidate, I'm not sure I will be able to vote for him. I definitely will not be voting for Obama, but lets hope and pray that Romney does not get the nomination.

  • James Fontana

I thought the voters in Florida were smart enough to see through Romney. Romney will be just like another 4 years of Obama. Romney will not create jobs, protect our borders or repeal Obamacare. The only thing missing will be the prayer rug in the White House instead Romenys orders will come form Utah and not George Soros

  • Nate41

I would rather the conservatives win a larger control in congress and win control of the senate, and have Obama win this election than to have a Lib like Romney win. The new control in senate and the control in the house could control, maybe impeach Obama, then we could get someone more conservative in 2016. Oh I like Santorum, I could vote for Newt, Romney I don’t know if I could. Another issue, the primaries should all be in a few days not spread over months. By the time our primary in May rolls around it is usually already decided, that’s not right, and the outcome in other states would not greatly impact the next states vote.

I really don't get people. They claim to want change yet they vote for Romney and Gingrich. Both of whom are establishment big government, big spender insider politician who will say whatever you want to hear. Santorum is about as useful as his namesake, he is an anti gun pro status quo candidate whose more worried that a gay might move next door to him that he is that the government has torn up the bill of rights.
Ron Paul is the only person running who will actually cut the deficit, and believes in liberty. He is the only candidate who will follow the constitution. He is the only candidate who doesnt support unconstitutional, bill of rights shredding legislation like the (un)Patriot Act and NDAA.
Does Dr Paul have all the answers? No, but at least he errors on the side of freedom for the people. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I inalienable rights, meaning they can't be granted or taken away by government, yet every day they take a little more of our liberty. If you take on from the group you can't truly have the other two.

Well, vote for Dr Paul then. He is more liberal than Obama, he isn't going anywhere, but thousands of voters like to play games and waste their votes. If you want to be a Republican you have to support the party's candidate. I can assure you that Newt will support Romney. He understands the process and he beat himself long before now.

  • Wendell

For the past year I have been predicting that Romney would be our GOP choice, because the media wants him, GOP elites want him, and the Democrats want him. Once again, we get another McCain. I don't particularly care for Mittins RINO Romney, but I don't believe he hates America. I know that the fraud, Muslim, Marxist pathological liar in the White House hates this country and is doing everything he can to destroy it! So, if I must, I will hold my nose and vote for this "Massachuesetts Moderate!"

  • Mountain Saint

True Patriot, yes, you’re right. Newt is just another Obama. ..Both men are Socialists (Socialized Medicine with Individual Mandates) and Globalists (Free Trade agreements). Both men have a history of scandals, corruption and lies. Both men have made the Judicial Watch’s list of most corrupt politicians of the year again in 2011. And both men have been in bed politically with Pelosi for several years (Newt cosponsored 418 bills with Pelosi in their twelve year affair)…We will not be better off with Newt in the White House. At least with Obama, the female interns are safe.

  • M. Cralson

Newt may be fun ro watch, but will insure Obama's r-0election. The Republicans are a minority party and need Democrat and Independent votes to win. Newt will never get any dem vote, and few independent ones. Republicans in order to win need candidates who can get other votes because there are simply not enough republicans. In 08 95% of the black vote went to Obama,65% of the Hispanic vote did also. With 47% paying no federal income tax, they also will vote Obama, so the number add up to prove you need a candidate who can get some Dem and Ind. Vote.

    • GFR

Whoever our candidate is will be smeared relentlessly by the drive by media and the dummycrats. Willard the Rat will fold under these circumstances. Newt would not.

If a candidate stands up and makes his case well, thinking people will vote for him. If a candidate flip-flops trying to get in front of public sentiment he will lose.

      Willard The Rat will lose.

    • GFR

You won't get democrat and independent votes by being "Conservative-lite", you'll get those votes by explaining your positions clearly and forcefully. If they agree with them they'll vote for you. Two thirds of this nations people are Conservative or Conservative leaning. Very few people are as far to the left as obama.

  • Junk Bin

Nothing like reading a bunch of sniveling from disgruntled people. There is one who has the most overall support. Get a grip and get set to support the winner. All this back stabbing is just giving more ammunition and help to Obama.

    • GFR

The primaries are NOT the general election. The Primaries are supposed to give the Republican voters a chance to choose the best candidate to represent them.

For whatever reason the Republican Establishment have allowed Willard The Rat to carpet-bomb the best candidate. This is not the way to chose the best candidate.

It will not be possible to carpet-bomb obama. What weapons will Willard The Rat have then? He can't debate, he can't think on his feet, he can't run on his record, he has no original ideas and he has split the support of his own party.

If Willard the Rat is our nominee I will vote a straight dummycrat ticket.

  • Robert Lebischak

Lets pray to God Romney does not win the nomination. His Romneycare is the start of Obamacare, Soros says no difference between Romney and Obama, and most important he lied to victory in Fla. Think about that, to win Fla he told lies about another, even when the truth was put our and he should have changed to state that, he did not, he continued to lie. If a person will outright lie to get the nomination, what will they do as President, Oh I forgot we already know that. Romney has spent more money than we know, seems it's the buying of America again, Oh when will we voters learn.

  • J. Davis

Tis' a sad day for the Republic and a majority of voters in Florida have clearly demonstrated their incapacity to use reason. Rather, they have shown very clearly how very dangerous herd mentality is, and can be. It was the herd that elected The Big O, and God help us but it may be that same mind numbed herd that elects our next President. May pestilence and hurricanes plague the fools who voted for the Rummy, oops I mean Big O-light!

  • Elliott L. Kipp

To all my fellow conservatives: My candidate did not win in Florida. I do not think he can turn it around, much as I would like to see that happen. In the likely event he loses, I will throw my full support to whoever wins, and right now that appears to be Mitt Romney. For what it's worth, anyone of the other candidates are better than what we have in the White house now. God Bless America. Elliott L. Kipp

    • GFR

I disagree. I have had enough of the Republican Establishment shoving an incompetent candidate down our throats particularly when we have an exceptional candidate readily available.

I am not willing to hold my nose, vote for Willard the Rat, watch him lose, and then have the Republican establishment go through their sanctimonious bleating act about how Willard the Rat did his best but the independents were turned of by the Tea Party.

The only thing that will get their attention is if Willard the Rat loses big time because the Conservatives vote a straight obama ticket.

  • Karen

Hopefully Romney will be the nominee. He is the best, most moral, conservative candidate and he can defeat Obama and bring out country out of the mess it's in. Romney has character and integrity. Hopefully, Rubio's remarks will turn out to be accurate. I completely agree with those who say we should all get behind Romney and defeat Obama!

    • GFR

      "Romney has character and integrity"

Really? If Willard the Rat has character and integrity why was it necessary for him to drop $15 MILLION of lies on Newt's head?

Call me old-fashioned but I don't think the Republican nominee should be a LIAR! The difference between us and the democrats is that we tell the TRUTH.

Lying is not going to help Willard the Rat win in the General election – If the public is asked to choose between a democrat and a democrat they will choose the democrat every time.

If Willard the Rat is our nominee I will vote a straight democrat ticket – the Republican establishment needs to fear offending the Conservative Republicans at least as much as they fear alienating the "independents" in the general election.

  • Brian

I guess there is nothing that can be done to keep the GOP from shooting itself in the foot. Obama is a super weak candidate but he can't be beaten by Romney, The only route to a Republican victory is to have the party nominate Dr. Paul.
A conservative president leads to conservative legislation. The president doesn't control all the legislation.
Ron Paul can win mostly because he is honest and ethical. (unlike Obama, Romney or Gingrich).

13,000 TO 200 ADS USED TO DESTROY GINGRICH

THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE NUMBER OF PERSIANS NEEDED TO DESTROY THE SPARTONS WHO WERE BETRAYED BY FOX NEWS. FAIR AND IMPARTIAL NO MORE. O’REILLY STARTED IT.

THIS MORNING I SAW JOHN KERRY’S DOUBLE QUOTING THOMAS PAINE. THINK ABOUT THIS IF YOU HAD AN OPPONENT WHO SPENT FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS TO MAKE A FOOL OF YOU. WHO BOUGHT 13,000 ADDS IN YOUR STATE TO TELL LIES ABOUT YOU. THE MOST YOU COULD AFFORD TO FIGHT BACK WITH WAS 200 ADS. HOW SOON WOULD YOU PACK UP AND MOVE OR GO UNDERGROUND?

ROMNEY IS A BIG MONEY BOY HE TALKS TO POOR PEOPLE ON ELECTION DAYS. HE IS FROM THE HOME OF TED KENNEDY AND JOHN KERRY. FELLOW TRAVELERS OF THE MASSACHUSSETTS WAY. HIS MONEY STIFLED ALL THREE COMPETITORS.

ONE THING I LEARNED FROM THIS VOTE IS THERE IS A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF DEMO COMMOS IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND THEY ARE ALL ON THE TOP. I USED TO SAY WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP IT’S ALL THE SAME PEOPLE. THE SAME MEDIA PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT DOWN HERMAN CAIN WITHOUT A TRIAL. WHERE DID THE BIMBOS GO MOMMY? MISSION ACCOMPLISHED? STOPPED NEWT THE GLADIATOR WITH A SHARP SPIKE IN THE KIDNEY.

FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS GETS YOU A 14 POINT ADVANTAGE. THAT’S A MILLION A POINT. THE TRAGIC NEWS IS YOUR VOTE IS WORTHLESS. PAC MONEY IS EVERYTHING. JIM WHITE OWL MEET JIM CROW. THE MEDIA ESPECIALLY FOX WHO I HAVE LOST MUCH CONFIDENCE IN WILL TELL YOU THAT GINGRICH CAN’T WIN BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE BIG MONEY. NEITHER DOES SANTORUM OR RON PAUL. SO WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR GRANDCHILDREN BY THE HAND AND SHOW THEM THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. YOU CAN PROUDLY SAY. KIDS ANYBODY CAN BE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY IF YOU HAVE A BILLION DOLLARS. THE DREAM IS DEAD. RUN ALONG NOW.

THE ENTIRE MEDIA LED BY FOX WAS IN THE BAG FOR OBAMA ROMNEY. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT ROMNEY. HE WENT WICKED AT THE LAST MOMENT TO FINISH OFF GINGRICH. HE WILL TELL YOU HIS HANDS WERE TIED LIKE PONTIUS PILATE AND HAS NO CONTROL OVER THE PAC GROUPS.

HE WILL TELL YOU ALL HIS INVESTMENTS ARE IN A BLIND TRUST BUT HE HAS A SEEING EYE DOG WHO CAN TEXT. YOU BOUGHT IT. BUT NEWT TOOK FANNIE MAY MONEY TOTALLING 1.5 MILLION OVER HOW MANY YEARS? THEY LEFT THAT OUT. WHEN NEWT GOT FINISHED PAYING HIS HELP HOW MUCH WAS HIS TO KEEP? THEY LEFT THAT OUT. I THOUGHT HE KEPT IT ALL. WHEN JAIMIE GAERILICK WHO SAT ON THE 911 COVER UP COMMISSION WAS WORKING FOR DNC CONTROLLED FREDDY FANNY SHE EARNED 6.5 MILLION. I FORGOT DEMO COMMOS ARE WITHOUT SIN.

WELL NEWT HAD THREE WIVES IN A COUNTRY WITH A 50% DIVORCE RATE. NOT COUNTING HOOK UPS THAT WALK AWAY. PRESIDENT PINOCHIIO PANTS ONLY HAS ONE WIFE AND A STABLE STABLE.

PLEASE DON’T GIVE ME AL GORE’S MASSAGE OR MAKE ME TAKE THE JOHN EDWARDS LOYALTY OATH IN SICKNESS.

WHEN I SEE THE COMMUNIST PRESS STICK A MIKE IN A CANDIDATES FACE AND ASK SO ARE YOU DROPPING OUT? I FLASH BACK TO THE SAME MIKE BEING THRUST IN A MOTHER’S FACE

WHO JUST FOUND OUT THAT HER SON WAS ONE OF 22 NAVY SEALS FROM TEAM SIX KILLED IN AN AMBUSH UNDER OBAMA WHO TAKES NO CREDIT. THE QUESTION ASKED IS SO HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE WAR NOW?

GINGRICH SAID LAST NIGHT HE HAS THREE OPPONENTS. OBAMA THE ROYAL REPUPPIES AND THE MEDIA. HE WILL BEAT THEM ALL. NOT WITH PAC MONEY OR CHAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS BUT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO DON’T COUNT AND NEVER GET LISTENED TO. THE SIXTY MILLION WHO NO LONGER VOTE BECAUSE THEY FEEL WHAT’S THE USE?

IN CONCLUSION LET ME EMPHASIZE ROMNEY CANNOT BEAT OBAMA. HE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER MCCAIN VICTORY. I BELIEVE BEFORE GINGRICH WAS A CANDIDATE HIS CREDIT LINE AT TIFFANY’S WAS TRUMPETED IN THE MEDIA. WAS THAT BY ACCIDENT? THE DAY GINGRICH ANNOUNCED HIS CANDIDACY FOR THE OFFICE HIS CAMPAIGN STAFF QUIT ACCUSING HIM OF CRUISING. WHERE ARE THEY NOW? DID MONEY/FAVORS CHANGE HANDS?

IF YOU WANT THE BEST PRESIDENT FOR THE COUNTRY DO NOT TRUST EITHER PARTY OR THE MEDIA. GO WITH YOUR GUT. AT LEAST IT WILL BE YOUR CALL NOT THEIRS.

The main media are backing him up and they will do anything for him to win no matter what is the cause and they will do every dirty in the book to ruin Newt Gingrich. This is started in Iowa when Romney was running a negative add against Newt Gingrich
and since Newt doesn't have much money he then try to fight back for all negative add that Romney using against him and the media turn around and accusing Newt as an angry and liberal.Newt was doing fine and he follow Ronald Reagan to run his campaign clean and make all the candidate to focus for one thing only to beat Obama and make them came together but instead Romney decided he will run his campaign as dirty as he could to get what he wanted. The media decide that the primary in Florida and the nominee was Romney but we still have 46 more state who will help Newt and if we want him to stand by us we need to start calling everybody to help him and support him. Romney is not what everybody think he is, he is more moderate conservative and if he become president we must well say goodbye in our country because the Romney care is much the same as Obama care.I was very much disappointed for the people in Florida to even think that Romney is best candidate to beat Obama, and Marco Rubio is nothing but two timer political agenda . It surely this country are going in the wrong direction and the American people are not using their own knowledge to see and read between the lines. It easy to listen to heard of what this candidate what you want to hear but never understood the phrase of he words coming out from his mouth.Romney never talk about of what he did or done during his four years being a governor all he talk about is how he make his fortune and how to create job, yes the American people needs job but all he ever did was to gain his money from the hard working people and he talk about he create a thousands jobs but he never explain how he done it.I don't know about you all if you ever notice the way he do during the debate, some of his words are modified and copy from the other candidate which he just make it like he knows all along of what he is going to say. He is flip flopper and every time he open his mouth he change it and say he never was a anti abortion, anti gun, ant immigrant and now he turn around and accusing Newt that he was anti immigrant. how can you trust the person if he never stood in his principles and lie to the American people. On Greta show before the Thursday debate she asked him if he become the president what his first priority
he layout everything he will do the first executive order in thirty days in the office and some of these Romney use it like he will repeal obama care which he never say anything about it until Gingrich was saying over and over again during the campaign.
So if some of you are with me and believe in him that he will restore our constitution and freedom and take our country back what it should be let 's support Gingrich and make sure he is the winning nominee to beat Obama on Nov. 6th. 2012.

I certainly hope it wasn't the telling factor because the floridians voted like a bunch of seniors suffering from dementia and /or communists that should have stayed in Cuba . Mitt Romney is Obamass light .

Everybody seems to have an opinion, and we all know what opinions are like. I have a choice just like most of you but I refuse to run down someone else’s choice to help mine. It seems Romney forced Gingrich into going negative, I really don’t know. The voters in Arizona have not seen any of the negative commercials or at least I haven’t. However, we must not lose sight of the goal here. The goal is beating obama! I believe we are going to be so sick of negative adds by the time the election rolls around we will not want to hear anything negative. But that is the only avenue obama has. Because he has no positive record to run on. But he could of course lie about his record but who among us thinks he would do that? No possibility, right?

If arrogant Romney wins the GOP nomination, we'll have a difficult time voting or him for president. Newt is somewhat better than Romney, and Santorum is the best remaining. I suppose Romney will win the GOP nomination, and he may defeat Obama. I can't see that Romney is much better than Obama, but he is somewhat less nasty.

Where o where is Sarah Palin when you need her? She is the only one who has the guts to stand up to dishonesty, immorality, other Nations, etc. She loves her country and would serve it well and honestly.

I know, she isn't running, but I sure wish she would jump in and take these votes away from Romney.
I heard an interview between Soros and someone overseas, he said, "there is very little difference between Romney and Obama". That alone should scare the pants off anyone considering Romney. Please America wake up and , at least, get behind Gingrich so Romney so We can take back our Country.

If you examine Mitt Romney’s record,

    1. He is a complete liberal. He was the “Father of Gay Marriage” to America….he illegally instituted gay marriage in the state of Massachusetts under his governorship, when there was NO LAW ON THE BOOKS to legalize it and still to this day, it is illegal and against the law in that state.

    2. Mitt signed in to his healthcare law a $50.00 tax subsidized co-pay for abortions.

    3. Mitt Romney (THIS IS THE TRUTH) believes that when he dies, he will be given his own kingdom/planet to populate with spirit babies…so much more about this…the truth is stranger than fiction here.

I highly recommend that everyone gets and reads this book: CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS? The Mormon Church Versus the Office Of The Presidency of the United States of America. His complete and true political record is laid out in this book….and his deep and personal religious beliefs will astound you.

I read the book “CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS?”, which contains the record on Mitt’s documented flip flops which demonstrate that he will say anything to become elected, depending on the group or venue he is speaking to. He’s a chameleon and becomes all things to all people, suiting whatever group he addresses. Everything Mitt Romney says or does is ONLY FOR POLITICAL EXPEDIENCY….not authenticity.

    NO!

    This is just the begining

Besides Romney just stuck his foot in his mouth again!

CzarinaT, will you Newt supporters please do some research on Newt and find out for yourselves the truth about him. Find out (1.) why Mike Savage calls Newt the dirtest politican in American history (2.) why Judicial Watch calls Newt one of the most corrupt politicians in America and (3.) why Newt was fined, reprimanded and driven from office, after only four years….You guys and gals are busy attacking Romney when Newt has the same liberal agenda (Romans 2). Both men are Socialists (Newt was supporting Socialized Medicine with its Individual Mandates only a few months ago). Both men are flip-floppers and have been on the wrong side on the issues. ..Wake up. Newt is playing you for a sucker.

Obama and his cronies are going to do all they can to get Romney on the ballot, as he know he can beat him….Look out folks, as the People are going to reelect Obummer if he runs against Mitt. He (Obummer) is afraid of Newt, as he (Newt) will wipe up Washington with the Bummer and his czars. May God have mercy on US, if Romney wins.

Once again the “know it alls” are vociferously touting Newt without knowing the real Newt. Why don’t you Newt lovers spend a few hours on the internet and discover who he really is?
Who he thinks the greatest president is and who he has patterned himself to represent. I doubt you will call him a conservative after you “do your homework”. What about his support of Skozafava, the individual mandate, bailouts, illegal aliens, jumping from one woman to another while the one has cancer or the other MS, changing one church for another until he finds one in which he can purchase forgiveness. Yes, this man was instramental in pushing “gatt and nafta” through the legislative process and a great supporter of the United Nations; how have these things worked out. If you do your homework you will find numerous “PROGRESSIVE” accomplishments in his resume. He worships the progressive presidents, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. PLEASE find out who this man is before you blindly support him. HE IS A PROGRESSIVE. Is Obama not a Progressive ?
