Romney Once Endorsed a Gay Rights-Loving, Anti-Bush Liberal

Newt Gingrich has recently taken heat for his 2009 endorsement of moderate Republican Dede Scozzafava in New York’s special election. Scozzofava eventually dropped out and endorsed the Democrat Bill Owens, who went on to win the race. But Mitt Romney’s past is not free of questionable endorsements. In his second term Rocky Anderson became notable for his call for President Bush to be impeached over the War in Iraq and legalizing same-sex marriage.
