Krauthammer Schools Lib

Bloomberg’s Jeanne Cummings got a much-needed lesson Friday about money not being everything in politics.

After she claimed on PBS’s Inside Washington that Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich’s revival in the race was all due to multimillion dollar donations from casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer correctly replied that the former Speaker’s ascendancy resulted from his debate performances in South Carolina not money (video follows with transcript and commentary):

So, according to her, the only reason that Obama will win is all of the MILLIONS that he is amassing. Obama will win because he LIES so very well and because people are just SO STUPID.

The question is . . . do we have more smart people in this country or do we have more stupid people?

      • RacerJim

One thing’s for sure…we have many more times over left-wing liberals than right-wing conservatives in the mainstream-media.

    Hello,
As usual Dr. K gives the Liberals a "BATH" in the truth, and they just do not know what to do.

Lobbying (also lobby) is the act of attempting to influence decisions made by officials in the government, most often legislators or members of regulatory agencies. Lobbying is done by various people or groups, from private-sector individuals or corporations, fellow legislators or government officials, or advocacy groups (interest groups).

Question: So doesn't anybody who posts a comment here about their candidate in some way fall into the area of being a Lobbyist? You are representing your views as an individual, trying to influence others to go support your ideals. You may not be getting paid for this service, but you are doing the same as someone who is…

    • independantlyMinded

We don't have the oodles of money to bribe them tho. That's all the lobbyists are doing. They put a fancy name on bribery.

  • B. Hill

I would love to be one to approve your every comment. Dumb you down like you do everyone in this forum. Sick site

I just love Dr K. He is so adept at putting people who have markedly erroneous liberal (ah, duplicate speech:::erroneous and liberal = one and the same!) ideas in their place!
And the saddest part? These liberal wackos don't seem to even understand what he just slapped them with! Know why? They just spew the liberal party line with NO facts to back it up, unlike what Dr K has. They just sit there with an Alfred E Newman expression on their faces:::::::"Whaaaaaaat????"

Unfortunately…Dr. K is TOO smart to run for elected office…..
FORTUNATELY for us… he has the spotlight and intellect to express honest assessments of facts.

    * Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by
being governed by those who are dumber.
    ~Plato

It is too too bad Dr. K is too smart to run for elected office, as are many others too nice or too smart. So look what we're stuck with.

Dr K, as usual is correct, if money is all it takes to win then we are doomed! The Dems have amassed enough to buy several third world countries to pay Obama's way! Which is great since they want us to join the Third World countries in a "level" distribution of wealth! It is the main stream medias bias we have to fear! Republicans ave vetted from conception to nomination. Every word and expression is "analyzed" and criticized. Republican's religions and friends and associates are dragged over the coals.
Meanwhile the false Messiah gets passes on a childhood immersed in Islam and Marxism. His close association with an American hating agitator like wright is glossed over. Friends like acknowledged terrorist B. Ayers is passed over due to his criminal acts having taken place "so long ago."

Notice that the woman spoke for one full minute ( from 0:14 till 1:14) w/o interruption from Dr. K. He started speaking at 1:14 and interrupted at 1:47. They all started saying that the show is "only 30 minutes". He did continue and finish his point but not w/o them trying to cut him off.

How do we divide the wealth? Do we tie up the rich and take them to the basement while we cash the checks they have earned? What do we do about the bottom end of this spectrum? Do we take the poor, tie them up in the basement and cash their welfare checks? Then, how do we dole out this money, evenely? Who gets what, or how much. Is it based on how many kids you have? If so, why did you have so many if you knew you were already poor? Or is poor just a poor choice of a word to describe those "below" poverty level? And how can you be below poverty level if you don't have to fork over a cent for housing, medical and food? If I had all those freebies, I could live on very little cash….but, then what do I buy my illegal drugs with? This country needs to stop welfare.
