Glenn Beck: Fox News told me to shut up

Did Fox News try to censor Glenn Beck before the media giant left the cable network last year?

The answer is yes, according to Beck, who made the disclosure this week on his new television program on GBTV.com.

Beck was discussing comments made by longtime PBS news commentator Bill Moyers who was defending leftist billionaire George Soros.

Moyers had said Soros has “been the victim, of course, of Glenn Beck and the right-wing, the Fox News assassins.”

In response to Moyers’ comment, Beck explained that his own former network tried to get him to clam up about his constant reporting on what he felt was Soros’ fiendish agenda to harm the American way of life.

“Here’s the real reason why George Soros is worried about little old me and the assassins, because I know the truth about him,” said Beck.

Getting my news from several sources, I learned several years ago to be aware of Fox News reporting. They do put out some news items ahead of other mainstream media and give info the others don’t, but are known to add twists to their reporting or recently have begun to parrot the same falsehoods or propaganda as the other MSM sources. Far too often they now have globalist guest contributors giving out with the NWO spin. I used to watch Bill O’Reilly, but he’s gone way over to the “dark side”.

I used to cancel dinner dates to watch O’riely when he was actually looking out for the folks but now he’s is so excited about interviewing the president he lost his edge. I finally decided I couldn’t listen to him ” give the president the benefit of the doubt” anymore. You have to be blind to give the benefit of doubt to his agenda and the positions he takes. I simply can’t believe it will be possible for him to be re-elected but am scared to death he might.

  I say, not only term limits for senators & reps, but also a constitutional amendment for NO czars. If our gov’t has gotten too big – which only means we should shrink the gov’t – to need more than the 3 branches, then the constitution needs to be amended to reflect this. All people with authority over we the people need to be vetted by the people & confirmed by our reps: the senators & House of reps. Allowing 1 person – the POTUS – to have the power to put unvetted & unvoted upon people in positions of great power is criminal! What I don’t understand is why the congress – whom is SUPPOSED to have power over the purse – does not exercise its power & authority & refuse to pay the salaries of these czars. Fox News is moving more and more toward toward supporting the establishment. OReilly has become more concerned about hearing himself prattle than letting his guests make any contributation at all. I now switch to Fox business at 5 pm on the west coast and watch Freedom Watch with judge Napalitano.

Beck had a lot of courage exposing Soros when he was on FOX, it’s tough to go up against someone with that much power and money. Fox news never claimed to be just a conservative news station. They’ve always remain neutral which is what fair and balanced means. They always have both sides of the story being told unless one side declines to come on or there’re clear facts of what’s being broadcast at that time. I like beck and it’s unfortunate that it went down that way but beck could look at it in a good way like giving himself a promotion. What better way to move your career upward, to be able to express yourself and your opinion the way you want to. What better than to have your own show. In reality fox news not only helped him but did him a big favor. I like fox and i will continue to watch them just the same as i will continue to watch gbtv.

I use to listen and watch glen beck. But since his rally speech in D.C. that definitely protrayed him as having the agenda of heading up and pushing Mormanism. He was doing great and was very enjoyable to listen to with all his training aids to support what he is saying. Leaving FoxNews was a mistake by gb and he will eventually fall for going out on his own. He got a big head that he was to elite for FoxNews and that he could do better making money on his own. Follow the money, that will always find people out who they really are. gb is not any part of my reading and beliefs; he is a puppet for mormanism. mormanism has the Bible as their fourth reference before three other books that have priority. gb is a false prophet.

As I understand it, the "House of "Saud", (The Saudi Arabian Royal Family), owns a vast chunk of "Fox News Channel". It is easy to imagine that the Obama administration may have put "political pressure" on them, (example: the sale of US fighter jets), to exercise their substanial influence at Fox to fire Glenn Beck. I would put nothing past this administration to pursue their agenda.

I only wondred that they didn't stop him sooner, and half expected to hear he had suffered some bizarre accident, like diving down an elevator shaft, or perished from the effects of exposure (which would be Soros's exposure, or Avery's or …) .. ..Keep in mind, Fox is a corporation; the major stock holder(s) run(s) it, and money buys stock. administration, and shedding light on just how far left Obama, et al are. I wish he were still on FOX, because I think
we need his bravery to root out the truth in a reported FBI investigation of Romney, the Geo Bushes, Greenspan and
others. Seems they had a hand in defrauding a bank or banks and banking the billion or so they made in off shore

It's good to know when leaders in government are stinkingly corrupt. It is exactly what we have. I like Beck because he protects America and it's culture. However, Glenn seems a bit too far in space for my understanding. he believes what he says about the intention of the so-called socialists to change America into a third world nation. Yes, there are those who would do make America into a government dependent country if the people didn't know and never cared, but they do care and that's why they rise up against the Soros' and Obamas to affect those changes. Vigilance is the key to the survival of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. I don't see a whole lot of patriotism in Newt or Mitt. They just want the power.
