Anyone who calls Ron Paul a waffler has obviously done zero research and has no idea at all what they are talking about. There is nobody in all of government more consistent than Ron Paul, and anyone saying otherwise hasn’t looked at his voting record. If you’d like to furnish specific cases where Ron Paul has said one thing and voted a different way you are welcome, but you won’t be able to. Ron Paul is unassailable from a consistency standpoint.

In my lifetime, we’ve tried your way-Republican or Democrat. So, we have arrived at where we are today based on “your way”. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So, if you like where we are, keep voting as you have and you will get more of the same.

Considering the fact that the Republican Party is just a bunch of good old boys that support the NWO and are not much better than the Dumbascraps Independent and Libertarians are looking much better. I have been a Republican all my life but I feel ashamed of being so now. Say what you will and fall for all the propaganda negative media about Ron Paul but of all the candidates there are none who can touch his stance for the Constitution or his long history. I have read a lot of negative press on the man but I am also enlightened enough to realize all the lies and propaganda flow like the Niagra. I do my own research and I have listened to many of Ron Paul’s speaches for myself. Quite often he is condemmed for his support of the Constitution and by many who call themselves Patriots and it is often because he does not support or he supports this or that. What he supports is the Constitution and a big part of it is because he is against the Federal governments involvement where it does not belong, such as in this case. Obviously the author of this article made the headline something to discredit Ron Paul trying to make him appear to be against God.
Ron Paul is all about the Constitution and Freedom, passing such a bill is not in the confines of the authority of the Federal Government based on the Constitution. He supports state rights because it is the Constitution and it is the heart of the power of the We the People to control the Federal Government.
I don’t know about you but I cherish my Freedom and I have and I am willing to fight for it now. Every bill that passes in the Federal Government that is outside of the Authority We the People have given is a strike against your Freedom.
I suggest all of you that suck into the Lame Street Media’s Propaganda on Ron Paul pull your head out of your butt and read the Constitution and listen to Ron Paul for yourselves. Of all the candidates, Ron Paul is the one who most supports the Constitution and thus “We the People”. If Ron Paul makes it to President he will change our Government for the good of “We the People” moving it back towards the intended government of our forefathers. If he makes it as President there will be a lot of changes in our government that will really hurt a lot of those traitors now in control of our Government. He is the most feared candidate because he is for the Constitution as it is written and that is why he is so attacked.

If you love Our Country, Constitution and Freedom you owe it to yourself to really get to know Ron Paul for what he is and not for what those who oppose and fear him tell you to believe.

There are a lot of candidates out there and there are a lot of disturbing things I have heard coming out of their mouths or in their history. There are two things I hate about them, their face! Ron Paul stands firm on our Constitution, none of the others can come close to his record.

What I don’t like about Ron Paul is that he has not taken the Constitutional stance on Obama’s lack of eligibility to run for or hold the office of President as the Constitution demands, but then again none of the other candidates have either.

The problem (BIG) with RP is that a Libertarian style of government, although apealing to some degree, is not going to work in today’s America. If anyone really reads the founder’s words, then they would clearly understand what Adams means when he said that our Constitution was written for a moral and religious people. Only a morally upright and self responsible public can self-govern to the degree of Libertarianism. This country has gone so far beyond the pale of being able to self-govern anyting it is absolutely pathetic. We need a strong constitutional conservative that understands the measures needed to take step by step to get us back to the point of being able to consider Libertarianism. It took over a hundred years to break away from the self responsibility necessary for self-governance, it will take many years of hard, hard, continuous work to get back to a point that it is possible to consider such measures again. RP is not Presidential material, never has been and never will be. Perhaps Rand Paul will make it some day, he has far more common sense and a much better public presence than his father ever had.

Give me a candidate that will return us to the Constitution, then we will have the same freedom that has made the greatest country that has ever existed in human recorded history! We all know its not a perfect world and that includes us all as well but our two parties have gravitated down the line towards 100% government, away from the anarchy end where there is absolutely no government. Our Founders had intended us to be closer to the no government end! Both parties are corrupt, although the Democrats come out on top in this department, the Republicans have done near as much damage. Morality, in every civilization is grounded in their religion. It is a major component of the culture of a nation and can be considered the glue that holds that culture together. Without that glue, the state becomes the authority as to what the culture will be or how it will evolve. Historically, the corruption of a culture, in the absence of a belief in unalienable rights, granted by a power higher than the state, has been the downfall of many nations.

I will not choose between the lesser of two evils. Evil is as evil does. Think twice about voting Republican just so that Obama doesn’t get elected. That kind of thinking got us the Bush father and son (both of whom are so left-wing they should be forced to join the Democratic party!). The only two genuine conservatives even nominated by the Republicans over the past half century are Goldwater and Reagan. Honestly, I would rather have Obama in the White House than a Romney or a Perry any day because at least Obama doesn’t hide that he’s a big government type!

Right now, I see only two saviors and possible a third who I could vote for: Ron Paul, Michelle Bauchman, and (possibly) Herman Cain. Everyone else is a lousy excuse for a conservative and, in fact, some (like Romney) should be kicked out of the party because they are Democrats in Republican clothing!

If he goes the Ross Perot route and starts a 3rd party, he will draw just enough votes away from the nominated primary winner to throw the election to Obama. It’s the fact that the Government is forcing law on the States that he objects to. It was already law (1958?). I think this may have been a plot to trap Paul, knowing he would object to the Fed presumably making another law for the states and individuals to follow. Of course we can (and must) reduce the military. We are fighting two illegal wars! End the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and we can EASILY reduce the military budget while causing any harm whatsoever. When you enter a war, the military budget automatically has to increase. When you end a war, it ought to decrease since we should stop deploying our national guard reserves so much. Bring the troops home!

World War I caught us flat footed with a poorly equipped military and virtually no aircraft while the other combatants had up-to-date aircraft for the time.

What happened after WWI, we disarmed and the nation went back to sleep. Billy Mitchel was court martialed because he tried to get the higher ups to pull their heads out of their liberal brown nosing asses and wake up to the facts.

Perhaps those party loyalists demanding another candidate selected by media directed live stage performance rather than one offering constitutionally provided historically proven cures deserve yet another trained debater to further their education to its apogee of truth when they can neither stand and be counted nor dare to voice contrary opinion. It should be in order to compose an epilogue for their tombstones explaining why they refused to stand while they could. They may deserve what they get but the next generation does not.

1) Ron Paul could never be as bad as Obama because
he has stated he will follow the Constitution !
2) Since he will follow the Constitution, he can not and
will not lead us into the present abyss.
3) If all the people who are “independants”, as well as
believers in our Constitution would vote for Ron Paul, he
would beat both Obama & the Republican nominee by

4) I’m almost 80 yrs. old and I’ve been waiting a long
time for an AMERICAN who truly believes in our type

It is so painfully obvious that even a child could understand and see that both of the Republican and Democratic Socialists Parties here in have worked hard to create and enact Bills and Laws that remove our Rights and Freedoms secretly behind closed doors and out of the public view, and without the Consent of the Governed I might add, with the help or aid of the MSM by not doing their jobs and not reporting on those intrusions of our Rights and Freedoms , and by being the lapdogs or mouthpieces for the government.

Our own government at the Federal, State and Local level have actually become traitors to the people, and have become our own worst enemies. I have an idea!! You take all the names I listed & you list them. Then show us with citations where they have stood up for the Constitution & for how long. Then compare them to your ‘liberal in disguise’. I have a hunch you won’t be able to show any record of these names that even matches Ron Paul for the last five years, let alone 10, 15, 25 or 30.

I usually agree with Ron Paul on the constitutional points but his stand on God doesn’t meet well with the declaration of Independence and every state constitution where it shows our respect for our creator.

Right, and all of the founding fathers believed in the Bible, and in the motto, “In God We Trust”. The declaration of independence written in 1776 states that we are endowed by their creator. God is the creator of life.
Sad, most of this doesn’t even matter anymore to most.
It states that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and institute new Government. Wow, are there enough people that could stand against what is going on and abolish this existing government? We really have that right and power given to us.

ALL of his ideas are good, because they are ALL in defense of our citizens’ Constitutional freedoms and rights. The Constitution does not grant the Federal government the power to force a blanket motto on the states and, as Ron Paul is attempting to pull as much un-Constitutional power as possible away from the Feds and put it back into the hands of the people, he chose against the measure.

If you honestly feel that way, I don’t see how you could vote for any of the current candidates other than Ron Paul. All of the others promise more of the same of what we’ve gotten from Obama.

If you are a praying person, then pray like never before. And don’t stop with our right to keep and bear arms. Pray that God Almighty and His dear Son Jesus Christ will be invited back to our country and that His Name will be honored. He wants us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. He gives us joy that is our strength. His peace passes understanding. He is patient with us and does not want any of us to perish. He is kind and good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. He is faithful and true. He is gentle and meek. He wants us to exhibit self-control and to repent of our sins against Him and each other. May God have mercy on America.

Ron Paul is not to sure he will be elected in 2012 either, so he is covering himself by looking for a good job, too. Seems to make good sense to me..Better than going on Welfare, food stamps or Unemployment benefits like most people would..

Only comes into play if you are running for higher office where you can’t do your current job while campaigning for the other. I agree any elected offical running for higher office should resign when they officially enter the race. This might also shorten the campaign season. Re-election to current office is moot.

I have no issue with having In God We Trust on the paper money but Payable Upon Demand In Silver or Gold should be on our money. However when you think about it since now that paper money is worthless and we have the word God on it isn’t that a bit insulting to God since he is suppose to be everything to us. And how many people in their greed and scramble to climb over everyone else really think about those words. They just hand the money over to pay for something legal or illegal and that is that. Do not go by the wrong “History”, or by “tradition”, and please, do not use the word “Christians” in such a liberal way. Most of the so-called “Christians” are not Christians at all. I am emphatic about this, because one can not be “half a Christian”. To be or not to be, that is the question. I have No problem with self defense. What Iran does is none of our business. We have the best military in the world. The most technology advanced. Last time I checked there was about 7,000 miles between us and a huge ocean in that. Has Iran attacked us? No. did Kadafi attack us? No. If Iran gets nuclear capability, what do you think they will do with it??? Russia has it. Have they used it against us? No. Many countries have it.
