Now It’s Newt’s Turn for an Anal Exam, But How Come It’s Never Mitt Romney’s?

Print Friendly

The story of the day on Newt Gingrich is all of his baggage. You can see that Newt Gingrich is all of a sudden now at the top of the heap in the polling data because he’s the focus of all the media attention, all the immediate gotchas. It was Herman Cain last week and the week before. Now it’s Newt Gingrich. In the midst of all of this, have you noticed that there’s one Republican who constantly escapes any of this media anal exam, escapes all of this vetting, and that’s Mitt Romney. The one who is said to be the nominee, I mean all the smart money out there says, “You know, all this stuff, this primary stuff, it’s just all academic, Romney’s the nominee, everybody knows it.
All of this is just a waste of time, everybody knows when it’s all over Romney is gonna be the nominee, right?” Well, Romney is the one guy the media is not vetting.

So there’s a pattern out there. Whenever a new Republican, the anti-Romney, the non-Romney, the un-Romney reaches the top or near the top in the polling data, then here come all of the relentless assaults on character, their past, their integrity, from the Drive-By Media. It was Sarah Palin, then it was Michele Bachmann. It has been Herman Cain. They’ve gone after all of them. Now it’s Newt Gingrich, who, a month ago, was considered a laughingstock, somebody just taking up space at the debates, the wise old man who was never gonna go anywhere because he was too undisciplined. Yeah, very smart guy, but never gonna go anywhere. He’s just up there. He’s serving a role. He’s making sure that these Republicans stay focused on Obama. Newt’s up there, he’s hitting the media, he’s hitting Obama while these other Republicans go through the motions here, but it’s gonna be Romney, everybody knows it’s gonna be Romney.

There is no perfect candidate, let alone another Patriotic Constitutional Conservative Ronald Reagan, in the current field of candidates.. So, with that being said, Newt, with his warts and all, has all of his 38 years of political career baggage, and or laundry, all out there in the open, for all to see.. His accomplishments, and his mistakes and flaws.. So, the people can decide whether or not, they want and like Newt, over the other candidates, at America’s helm, as the next US President. Especially with major economic, political, social, and international world affair issues at stake, and on the table, the next President will have his or her hands full.. which Newt is more than qualified to handle..

But, the same cannot be said of Romney, which in fact, the opposite is true. Romney is almost like Obama in may respects, as he hides everything controversial and negative, and them lies about them when asked.. He is so much like Obama is many regards, character and political tactics, it’s often hard to tell the difference.. and the MSM, refuses to vett Romney, like they refused with Obama.. why, because if there is one thing the liberals like more than a Democrat in power, it’s 2 Democrats in power.. In other words, when the candidate on either side of the political race, is of the same stripes, and agenda, then it’s a win win situation either way for the liberal agenda.. That’s why they hate Constitutional Conservatives, like Ronald Reagan, who could not be bought or corrupted.

So, this also why there is a split in the Republican party, the standard bearing Republican Party establishment of Bush, Rove, Romney, Christie, etc.. and the Tea party Constitutional Conservatives like Marco Rubio, Jim DeMint, Michele Bachmann, Paul Ryan, etc.. This is where the line has been drawn in these 2 factions of the Republican Party. But the Tea Party represents the faction, that represents the Will of the People, not the Will of the crony politicians, which is the main difference.. and that is why the far right crony capitalists like Romney and Christie, are backed by the establishment Republican Party.. But the question is, is Newt part of the Republican Party establishment, or the Constitutional Conservative Tea Party faction.. It would seem he is now Part of the Tea Party, that represents the people, which is why he is now, the frontrunner, compared to Romney, who is backed by the liberal establishment, and is why Romney is not being vetted, and is why Newt is being attacked and vetted, and the target of the Democratic attack machinery, as well as the Republican Right attack machinery, ie; both sides.

This is the truth, as the people have been the targeted enemy since Obama’s election as US President, then reinforced by Pelosi and Reid of the 111th Congress, then made even more evident after the 2010 mid-term elections, from both sides of the political aisle. So, it is no surprise that they, the Obama left and the RINO right, have teamed up to coordinated a media attack against Newt..

    • http://WWW.katcotees.com Kat Haakinson

Mitt poses no threat to the status quo in Washington. He is held as “Obama light” amongest the Media and the Government, so He gets a PASS, Let’s hope enough of us out there are awake at the switch to see what is going on.

      • WASP

Romney is a RINO progressive and, it would seem, the choice of the same NWO criminals that created and bought the election for the Kenyan. And, Perry may be the other ringer they tossed in. That way, if they can’t shove Romney down out throat they can fall back to Perry. If one of them happen to beat their boy Obumbler, they still have their way. These scum always have more that one dog in the fight. That way, they get their way and make it look like the voters did it. Could be that the Liar-in-Chief has accomplished so much of what they wanted that he’s now expendable so they’re trading in last years model for a new one.

        • Moses

I dare say that the people won’t win this one this time around. Rumor has it, that when President Obama sees his chance of staying in office another 4 years, slipping out of his grasp, he is prepared to declare Martial Law, and do away with the election process; which would make him the only person to control the USA.

    • Bob

Sonny, you are a true American Patriot and so right. Romney is too far center left for me. Newt knows that the media will attack him because of his baggage and his conservatism. He actually admitted it in an interview I saw. I support a Gingrich/Cain dream ticket in 2012. They are the most qualified to run this country and out of the Obama regime.

The only thing I fear is the “politically undeducated,” who voted Obama into office the first time. They are being brainwashed by the lamestream liberal media and think that Obama is a God. We need to get the message out to them or I fear for my family that they will re-elect Obama. Polls are just polls and they are not always correct. However, I hope and pray that Gingrich is the nominee and wins the election. God Help US if he doesn’t.

      • florin

The media cannot attack gingrich because of his ‘conservatism’ because he is NOT a conservative. He is, at best, a moderate…don’t you remember when he passionately and aggressively promoted Dede Scozzafava against the Republican ‘conservative’ candidate in New York? Dede is a pro abortion, pro gay marriage liberal…Newt was furious when conservatives didn’t follow his lead and he lashed out at them – and the election went to the democrats. Gingrich is whatever he thinks he needs to be in order to get elected…don’t talk about the media bashing him – they bash Romney repeatedly over his ‘POLICIES’ because they can’t find any personal dirt to bash him with…if character does not matter, then go ahead and choose gingrich and you will see 4 more years of Obama…Gingrich will cross the aisle and again sit cozily with Pelosi, Gore, Rockefeller, et al…so go ahead and choose him if you want 4 more years of Obama…

        • Mary S

I don’t believe Newt will cross the isle. I believe he has changed the way he thinks about politics and politicians and will have to overcome the “mad dogs” who will try to chew him to pieces. He can also beat 0 in any debate and the left will do anything to keep Newt from winning the nomination. I like another candidate I would rather vote for but will wait for the primaries. In the meantime we need to pray consistently for our Nation to keep it under God.
Psalm 33:10-11 The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of nations. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

          • Rodger in WA

I hate to say it, Mary, but this nation is no longer under God. That’s why things are getting so bad. America is headed for disaster.
Without God, not Gingrich nor anyone else is going to turn stop what’s happening.
Our founding fathers knew this. Before writing our Constitution and laws, they studied every major governmental system beginning with Babylon.
They threw out everything that brought these governments down.
What they settled on was a Republic based on Judeo/Christian based laws and values. They knew full well that once the voting majority turned away from Christian values, this country would degenerate into a second rate Dictatorship with everyone dependent on the government. They warned us this could happen. The Bible warned us. Both are being ignored. Now that’s exactly where we are headed.
No politician(s) can change this without the full support of the citizens.

      • CougarWithAWhip

The 2012 election will decide if our great country lives or slowly dies. Electing Romney is suicide. Newt/Cain or Cain/Newt is the only chance we have to survive.

        • Howland Owl

Alas, you can’t have P and VP both from the same state. One North and one South (or East and West) is the rule–and it makes sense.

    • patriotrenegade

I had always hoped that the teas would understand and help stop the slide to global dictatorship. Everything they despise emanates from globalist policy makers in all areas of our govt, yet they do zero research and stupidly run to shills put in by the NWO crowd as insurance against obama being tossed. cain, perry, newtie CFR!, and hopeless huntsman are there to ensure a continuation of 40 straight years of globalists and/or their stooges in the WH. Romney is one of four clean candidates. Romney can win the votes needed in the center. That’s where you win. You wanna waste the chance for a clean govt on the above mentioned fools?

      • JoJo

Romney is part of the NWO too. He also stated in one of the early debates that he would repeal Obamacare, then a few weeks later during a Huckabee interview he said he would sign 50 WAIVERS so each state could decide whether or not it wanted to participate…it wouldn’t cut any expense since the Obamacare infrastructure would have to exist in order to serve the deadbeat states that would jump at the opportunity for the other states to pay their way. I fall into the catagory that I would vote for ANYONE that ran against Obama. Where people have to be especially careful is who they elect to the house and senate. Get more TEA party, constitutional conservatives in the legislature in DC, and be sure to vet carefully who is running locally…some of the local yahoos have been appointing judges and hiring people that have no business being in government.

        • patriotrenegade

well written, but remember: tell your friends at the next tea meeting to research everything, our national sovereignty depends on it. Tell your friends to not get fooled by soundbites and get caught running to kissinger/brezhinski shills who are the actual cause of everything they hate. They are there as insurance in case their boy bammie loses. You only win a general election in the wishy washy center. Only Romney can do that. He’s a clean candidate.

          • Mountain Saint

Romney is as clean as the Salt Lake City Olympics.

      • mytorpor

Romney is nothing more than Obama light. A Romney win, means America will continue it’s slide into failed socialism….it will just be a slightly slower slide. Romney, like Obama, has no core other than the belief that bigger government is better government.

    • Apache6

The PIMP STREAM MEDIA,including Fox News, are trying to shove Romney down our throats. WE must NOT let the PSM pick our candidate for us. I say, GINGRICH-CAIN 2012 !!!

    • osherie

There is nothing more to vet!!! He has been probed, poked, mocked since he ran against Ted Kennedy, and was winning. The Kennedy machine made false charges about him the were proven to be false AFTER the election. Don’t be nieve enough to believe negative research has not been done on him. They trash collectors can’t find negative about him so they make things up, hype it, and you willing believe the hype. To degrade Romney with unjust bias and scorn is to deprive the USA a morally solid capable man who has the talent to give US success. Sad when descent, viable candidates refuse to run for office because they know the utter hell they and their famlies will be subjected to. If you refuse to accept Romney for the best candidate running, you deprive the USA of the goodness, and honor he can restore to US. Good grief, clear your prejudices, clear the cobwebs and understand who you are bashing.

    • Sanderson

BO can whop Mitt’s butt. Mitt is no threat to BO. He’s scared of Cain, Perry and Newt, but not Mitt.

    • Boanerges

Apparently, sir, too many people do not understand there is a brilliance playing here.
If Romney appeared too anti-liberal, the liberal press would have a fieldday with him.
While I, for one, would probably say everything the Demicraps would hate, Romney is probably it very cool. Some people are stopped by a crowd, but others know how to slide through a crowd and really get somewhere. Romney is our best hope because no matter what he may appear to many people, he really is a conservative at heart who will
dismantle the bureaucracy and get the economy going. Look! He IS someone who loves free enterprise! He IS a businessman! Some times you have to fool the enemy to get past them. American soldiers are patriotic, but to fool the enemy, they have to wear camoflage!!!!! – NOT go out in battle with red coats on, standing in ranks. The more underhanded the enemy is, the more YOU have to outthink and outwit and outmanuever them by beating them at their own game. Boy, wouldn’t it be great to go out there on the battlefield wearing an American flag!! Sorry, folks, but it don’t always work that way. READ, MAN, READ! General Washington learned the hard way to have some of his courriers drop false information, making the enemy think one way while he went another way. If enemies were honest (well, for one thing, they probably not have to be fought), we could be honest, too. But when you are a good guy, and a neighborhood bully comes along, you know he is going to be underhanded, so you have to learn to beat him at his own game, as long as you don’t lose wight of what is decent.
If all the good people let the bullies win all the time, what would be the use of living? Read the Old Testament. Even God had ancient Israel fool its enemies. Please don’t write Romeny off so easily. That man prays for direction for the good of the country.

  • const40

This article says exactly what I have been thinking.
The Progressives, Liberals and even the Republican Party want our nominee to be Romney.
    Each for their own reasons.
I do NOT want Romney–for whatever that’s worth!

Newt has baggage, yep. He has also changed his life since “getting religion”.
He has the most knowledge of this Country and how its meant to be run than all
candidates on either side of the aisle.

He IS a teapartier. Romney is NOT.
Romney can’t do what needs doing.

    • florin

Gingrich is NOT a Teapartier…he is trying now to seduce them and perhaps he will be able to – for a while – but as they learn more and more about the pattern of serious sexual behavior/adultery and serious lies and serious allying with liberals, they will spew him out…he is not a conservative – therefore he is not a Teapartier…

    • patriotrenegade

newtie is a globalist traitor and a general A-hole. and that’s that.

      • VegasLarry

Newt’s past is just the reason he’s the man to clean up DC. He is known there, can move about unnoticed and ply his tactics just as he is doing now. Mark my words. Newt will be on the GOP ticket for 2012.

        • shirley

VEGAS LARRY…….i am glad that NEWT jumped out ahead and faced the devils over his past…….they will continue to find things to horrang about …but i think that NEWT WILL STAY ON COURSE AND NOT GET DISTRACTED…….HOW MANY TIMES CAN A MAN ADMIT HIS FAILURES………IN reality all.of the candidates have a skeleton or two in the closet……but we have to really hear what they stand for……if it will heal our country . . we must take a chance………WE CAN NOT HAVE 4 MORE YEARS WITH THE PERSON WE HAVE NOW……….I AM NOT FOR ROMNEY AND THE TRUTH IS ….THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT CRAZY OVER ANY OF THEM RIGHT NOW……SORTA LIKE WE ARE WAITING FOR THE RIGHT PERSON…..BUT THEN WE DO NOT HAVE ANY ONE ELSE STANDING IN THE SHADOWS……I WILL TAKE ROMNEY OVER RON PAUL…..if push come TO SHOVE……

          • cheryl

Hell if Clinton could get re-elected after having sex and a BJ in the oval office with a girl young enough to be his daughter we should have any trouble forgiving Newt. When it comes to sleaze the Dems have it all over the Republicans.

    • http://ConservativeByte Little Pat

It’s too bad Obama wasn’t investigated as much as the Republican candidates. If he had been we wouldn’t be in this mess. The media backed him because he was black or they were told to back him by Soros. Either way, we got him and I hope we can get rid of him soon. Newt would be an excellent nominee.

      • Suzie

Amen Pat. And it begs the question: With all the questions about Obama’s hidden background, why aren’t the media investigating Obama now? (Rhetorical question: we know why they aren’t.)

      • cmbhi

How can you say Newt would be an excellent nominee when he wants to get rid of our Constitution? Just 2 years ago he said that our system of government works to slowly for the 21st century and he wants to ‘fundamentally transform’ it. Newt is a ‘futurist’, his words, and futurists want to user in a one world government system.

“Ever heard of the book, Creating A New Civilization–Politics of the Third Wave, by Heidi and Alvin Toffler? Good ol’ “conservative” Newt, wrote the foreword on this Fabian “masterpiece” which consists of Orwellian jargon such as “demassification of production”, “civilizational upheavel”, “byte cities”, ” brain lords” and “cyberpolitics.”

According to the Tofflers, sovereignty, the U.S. Constitution, and traditional families are unnecessary.

On page 433 of Toffler’s bilge, we read: “The founding fathers as the architects of the political system which served so well, this system of government you (founding fathers) fashioned, including the very principles on which you based it, is increasingly OBSOLETE and hence increasingly if inadvertently, OPPRESSIVE and DANGEROUS to our welfare. It must be RADICALLY changed and a NEW SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT INVENTED – a democracy for the 2lst Century.” How frightening. And who constantly talks about “re-inventing government?”

NEWT GINGRICH: “I first began working with the Tofflers in the early 1970′s on a concept called anticipatory democracy. I was then a young assistant professor at West Georgia State College, and I was fascinated with the intersection of history and the future which is the essence of politics and government at its best.”

—Gingrich, Newt; Armey, Dick. “Contract With America,” New York, Times Books, 1994″

Read the rest at the link below and look at the poll results. although a lot of peple haven’t read the article or taken the poll, 62% agree Newt is a traitor to America.

        http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/newt-gingrich-conservative-or-conservative-futurist/question-2283801/

    • osherie

YOU ARE SO SCREWED UP IN YOUR THINKING!!!!! Romney has been an honest descent man of integrity his entire life and you choose to call him filthy names and make false statements. Get your information from him, not the lying media. You are all to ready to trash the man who can beat Obama, but you would rather shoot yourself in the foot and get more of the same. Then we all have to suffer for your bias.

    • Boanerges

Many people out there are using some very shallow thinking. Have not the liberals and Democraps been lying to us honest people for years, pretending to be FOR America, but instead are against us? When the other side is dishonest to us, we have to beat them at their own game. We have to wear camoflage, send them false messages, decieve them in many ways to win the war. Don’t you people read? Or are you partying all the time? The Allied plan to win WWII was full of deceptions and lies, double agents, anything to fool them into thinking we were doing one thing, but we were instead doing another. Don’t they use feints in sports at times? Football, fencing, soccer, etc. Romney has to look middle-of-the-road, while they attack the other candidates. His intentions are to win back our freedoms. Please, quit thinking so shallow, quit expecting someone full of bubblegum and icecream. The other side has gotten so deceitful, we have to take off the kid gloves, use some deceit ourselves to beat them at their own game. I know Romney prays for guidance to be able to win. If and when he does win, this country will start straightening out, IF there are enough Conservatives in Congress to back him up, and pass the good things, get rid of the bad (like too many stifling regulations), he will be able to get us back on the right track. And we freedom-loving citizens will need to support him.
Please do not write Romeny off so easily. You may write off the very best answer to our problems, and pass up the only chance we had to win our country back.

  • AliveStillKickin

It’s never Mitt because Mitt is the one GOP candidate Obama has a chance to beat.
He is our white Obama in GOP clothing.
    Another universal healthcare freak.
Once in the White House…..Romney would change into progressive clothing…..leaving us with yet another empty suit

    • http://googlechrome David

BUT! Would you vote for him if he is nominated or osloba? Not much choice but I’d definitely go Romney. Osloba has to go!

      • AliveStillKickin

I would vote for Romney against Obama…..sure….but I would be holding my nose and throwing up just as I did with McCain.

        • Mary Bird

We tried the “middle of the road Republican with McCain . and look how that turned out! I vote for Gingrich! We KNOW where he stands!

You win by getting the most votes from the wishy washy center. Only Romney can do that.

      • AliveStillKickin

@florin….Please qualify that statement with some substance instead of just posting an empty opinion.
I qualified mine with mention of universal healthcare and I will add that the habitual flip-flopping of Romney imitates the same of Obama.

    • patriotrenegade

Mitt is the only one who can win votes in the wishy washy center. That’s where you win a general election. These other fools and new world order scam candidates will lose to obama. The CFR’s, Trilaterals, and bilderbergers don’t care, they win either way unless it’s Romney. Our first chance for a clean WH in 40 years. Wait till they get going on him. In mASS he took no salary, he is clean on never being involved with any globalist group. Play it smart. You wanna win? Or argue about a popularity contest?

Actually, polls show Ron Paul has the most favorability among Independants AND Ron Paul also garners support from the blue dog democrats. Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate that will take democrat votes AWAY from Obummer. That is why there is a media black out on him.
Ron Pauls economic plan cuts $1TRILLION off the budget in one year because he shuts down cabinet departments. His economic plan also BALANCES THE BUDGET in 3 years time. He will also get rid of the TSA, Obamacare, Patriot Act, Department of Indoctrination (currently called the Dept of Education), Dodd-Frank and he will thoroughly audit the Fed. He would also replace Bernanke with an Austrian economist instead of replacing Bernanke with anothe Keyensian economist. Even Glenn Beck said that Ron Paul is the only stateman who is the closest we have to a founding father. Ron Paul believes that our Constitution limits what the government can do to you and would reinstate states rights.
        President Ron Paul 2012

        • ronnie

For how long will we be able to enjoy Mr.Paul’s gifts before we are nuked by Iran?

YOU must be a Democrap. You are talking trash. Look at Romney’s record: always faithful to his wife and family, always a churchgoer, always honest in his dealings, nobody accusing him of affairs, his turning around failing businesses (ever see a Democrap to work hard at a job, be a winner in business? No, just be successful at lying, successful at having extramarital affairs, at cheating, voter fraud, etc., etc.

  • bearlyme

What do you suppose would happen if the Republican presidential primaries were to start in Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and/or Texas? Answer, we would end up with a conservative nominee ─ guaranteed. Can this be why the Republican Party insists that the primaries start in the northeast? Because by the time the voting gets to Georgia, there are only RHINOs left to vote for; which virtually guarantees a RHINO nominee. Take 2008 for example. We started out with (in no particular order):
    John McCain
    Mitt Romney
    Mike Huckabee
    Rudy Giuliani
    Fred Thompson
    Duncan Hunter
    Ron Paul and
    Alan Keys.
By the time the vote got to Georgia, we were down to two candidates: Mitt Romney and John McCain; both RHINOs. Who do you think would have been left standing if we had started voting in Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama or Louisiana? It would not have been John McCain or Mitt Romney. The formula, the schedule – the order of state voting, used in the primaries is arranged by the Republican Party (managed by RHINOs like Karl Rove) in such a way as to eliminate as quickly as possible all of the conservative candidates. Is there any wonder why Karl Rove and his RHINO buddies were so stressed when states started rearranging their schedules.
The schedule is a RHINO scam to ensure there won’t be any conservatives left by the time the vote reaches the south. This is how the RHINOs and the left have been scamming us with a continuous stream of RHINOs since Ronald Reagan. Once Reagan left office and was replaced by the mega-RHINO George Herbert Walker Bush, the primaries were arranged to ensure the RHINOs would never suffer defeat to a conservative again. Unfortunately, because conservatives have been so stupid, it’s worked. This is our last opportunity to take back this party. Vote for the strongest conservative you can.

You forgot to mention all the fuss that’s been made over Iowa. If the Iowans had the clairvoyance to nominate the best candidate, Obama wouldn’t have won there in ’08.

Ladies and gentlemen – listen closely……if you are sick and tired of o, and want this country back, come election day you better vote Republican – regardless of who the candidate is. Any other vote is a wasted vote and you will have your o back in for 4 more years. I have my likes and dislikes for the candidates, but I know I will have to vote republican…….Personally I like ….
By the way – what is a rhino. Yes I don’t know!!!
      God Bless America!

      • Mountain Saint

Rhino is Mrs. Obama after too many fries.

        • shirley

          mountain saint……..ILOVE IT!!!!!!

    • Mountain Saint

It’s RINO (Republican In Name Only).

    • osherie

Its Rino stupid. Its also the economy STUPID! Mitt Romney is not your favorite over-used term, nor is he just establishment. Would you rather no candidate talk to anyone so you can’t say he is rino? Would you then critize him for not talking to Republicans? You blather on without knowing the facts. Economics are Romney distinct speciality. Be a fool and vote for another person who will kick can down the road and drag this Obama mess on for years. Romney produces positive results!!!!!!!!!

    • Boanerges

You are wrong. For one, it’s RINO, not Rhino- like in the animal. Another, Romney may APPEAR to be a RINO, but he’s not.

  • 2WarAbnVet

The liberal/socialist media establishment is working assiduously to select Romney as the Republican candidate. Once that Northeastern liberal is chosen they’ll viciously turn on him. It was only a few years ago that McCain was the media darling until he was chosen to be the Republican candidate. Then he was dirtied in every possible way. Surely you recall the sexual harassment and the “not native born” charges.

  • Jerry F.

Romney was choice by the republican elit the day John McCain lost,And now the media has picked him to win,and specially the lamestream media CNN,MSNBC,ABC,CBS,NBC,they know he is the most liberal(except Huntsman)and they can get him to flip on his promises. He is going to be our Nixon.

    • osherie

Where do you come up with this trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You damn fool! Passing up a top class man in every way for what? Someone who makes you feel good for the moment? WE NEED RESULTS, NOT FEEL GOOD ENTERTAINERS IN THE WHITE HOUSE. No one will work to make the USA prospereous than Romney and get results!

  • http://InternetExplorer Homer

It is because he is the RNCs darling. I myself will never vote for that piece of crap.

  • gml

Simple!! He is an “insider”. The annointed one.

  • florin

How come it’s never Romney??? Romney has been thoroughly vetted and is attacked over and over again about his POLICIES – the media can’t find any personal scandal attached to Romney though they keep looking. Newt’s past and present are stuffed full of dishonorable actions and misinformation he gives out – or outright lies…Romney and Gingrich may both be RINOs but the difference is that Romney is a RINO with good character while Gingrich has no character…

    • mytorpor

The difference is that they know that the Republican establishment is determined to have Romney as their nominee. For now the media is holding back, but once Romney is the GOP candidate they will start in on him. And if there really is no dirt (and of course there is, all politicians have dirt) they will simply make some up and put it all over their front pages, just as they did to McCain and Palin. And they will repeat their own lies, until those lies become “common knowledge”!

      • osherie

Trash talk. You do not know this man. He works for America. Why don’t you write a scathing email to the White House and vent your frustrations. Then do the smart thing and vote for Romney.

    • shirley

FLORIN……………….wow……..romney has one vote for sure………ROMNEY WILL NOT GET MY VOTE………he was the the one that obama …used the plan of the ”””DEATH PANEL””’ health care…….ROMNEY said that he would repeal for all of the states but his state………wanna bet “??????? ……if it is good enough for his state i do no think he will ever repeal obama care…………..romney is a good man …but is to flexible…

    • ronnie

Why is it NOT ever mentioned that Romney is a BISHOP in the Mormon church?

  • Ned

This is so accurate,so dead on that it must be read by every conservative or republican…Please everyone forward this to as many others as possible…It’s easy to caught up in our anger so that we spend more time talking about it than sharing it……Spread this message as much as possible, then spread it more…..It is absolutely critical that the uninformed understand this…..

  • Old Sarge

This country needs a patriot and not some professional political hack that is only worried about the next election. Ben Franklin had the right idea. He wanted the House set up so that Frank the Barber and Joe the Butcher could go to Washington for two years and go back to being Frank the Barber and Joe the Butcher. He also felt they should live in provided apartments, with provided meals and not get paid. He felt that if they were paid, they could raise their own pay and only be in it for the money and then we would end up with what we have today. Professional politicians. As soon as they are elected or reelected, they have to start working on their reelection campaign. Doesn’t give them much time to do what they were elected to do.

The way I see it, voters have one very important question. Who can we really trust? Looking at the events that have been happening in my life, I am beginning to believe that the only difference between the two parties is their name. I think that if voters did a little research, before Obama takes the internet away from all of us, they would be very surprised at how many RINOs there actually are in the Republican Party.

I know a lot of you will want to rake me over the coals over this, but I have come to one conclusion. The American Communist Party wanted to Socialize America. The Democrats want to Socialize America. The RINO Republicans want to Socialize America. The only difference is, that the Communists were up front about it. The American People need to be more vigilant if they want to keep the Republic that the Founding Fathers tried to create.

In the election year coming up, candidates will be making powerful speeches telling us why it is vital to vote for them. Do not be fooled by their campaign speeches. Those are just words and slogans. Edward R. Murrow said “Our major obligation is not to mistake slogans for solutions.” As we should have learned in previous elections, most will campaign on what they think the voters want to hear and then they will do something else once elected or reelected. Actions speak louder than words. Research the candidates. That means doing a little work. That’s right. I said that four letter word “WORK.” Look at their past voting records, accomplishments, backgrounds, the issues they supported, activities they participated in and the organizations they joined. Those things can tell you quite a lot about the person. The important thing is to get out and vote and try to encourage those who don’t vote to get off dead center and do so or we could loose this Republic the Founding Fathers started for us. Those who don’t vote deserve the government they get. By the way. The Founding Fathers did not create a Democracy. They created a Republic. A Republic that requires involvement from all the People. Not just the handful that vote now. APATHY, NOT OBAMA, IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO OUR LIBERTIES AND FREEDOMS!

    • http://facebook pat

Sarge that is the best comment i have read in years..I myself have been saying the same things..Americans have turned into sheeple and only want too see a pretty face and a motivational speech..they dont want too stand up and take back what is rightfully ours because it might take more than hour of there time..
The fact is the media is and has been steering the sheeple towards Romney since the beginning..the media controls the masses,,all communists no this..this is why i have chosen too follow Paul..He has some bad points,,but he hasnt lied about them,,he has never in 30 years voted against his principles..I know Newt has and all the rest
Cain reminds me too much of how obummer showed up at the last min too say the country,,If he stays around for the next election and keeps his word on his beliefs then we will see..
      pat

    • cmbhi

Sarge, I gree with Pat – a most excellent comment! And I, too, have been begging people to vet the candidates but the sheeple have become, as Obummer said, LAZY! I’ve done a lot of research on all the candidates and the only one who has remained faithful to his ideals and Constitutional principles is Ron Paul. Do I agree with everything Ron Paul says? NO! But he is the ony candidate willing to hold up our precious Constitution as the Law of our land and abide by what it allows the Federal government to do. Ron Paul will not change the intent of our Constitution to suit his needs. And Ron Paul deeply believes in the sovereignty of the Individual. American sovereignty is also important to him and that is why he has, for 14 years, been submitting his bill, The American Sovereinty Restoration Act, that would withdraw America from the evil United Nations and kick the UN out of our country. But no other member of Congress will listen to him; especially not Newt who was Speaker when Ron Paul first introduced the bill. Newt WANTS the UN to totally dominate and control all governments. Ron Paul is against amnesty and will not allow illegals to get entitlements. Ron Paul does is anti ‘anchor baby’ and does not want children born to illegals to be considered citizens. He even wrote a bill to stop the ‘anchor baby’ lie. Again, no one in Congress, not even Michele Bachmann, would co-sponsor Ron Paul’s resolution.
If the sheeple do not awaken and become people again, our country is doomed.

    • osherie

YOU WANT A REPUBLIC AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Stop mocking and start working for ROMNEY.

  • jim 28th reg.

Why can’t you people see what the main stream is doing to Ron Paul?? MY GOD OPEN YOUR EYES AND STOP THE CRAP ABOUT THE GROUP OF RINOS AND CLOWNS.
Romney is the biggest horses a$$ of the whole group and Perry was the darling until his head got to big for the ten gallon and he defied the establishment pushing him. Enter Newt the neutral. Now he’s become the darling. Dam can’t anyone remember how he wiggled and squiggled around before? Staying just in side any real law to boost his bank account and to H with ethics. How many meetings has he had with the NWO?? The Builders & Owl worshiping perverts out there in the land of fruits & nuts? Does anyone really trust this guy? I sure as H don’t. We get the same BS out of his mouth ( diff. tone ) that came from world famous Rino McCain & not so much diff. than the bush bunnys either. Zero plausable solutions.
Take the time to check out Paul. There’s some I don’t agree with but he has workable ideas. Not the same as usual ear tickling you know I’m smarter than you crap coming from the rest.
There’s a reason the Media won’t give paul time to talk they are scared out of their wits.

    • http://facebook pat

      nice comment jim

    • Steven F

Its not the media doing anything to Ron Paul. They can safely IGNORE him because his supporters are doing enough damage. I actually read his book ‘Liberty Defined’ because I wanted to know the TRUTH about him. As a result, I would appoint him Treasury Secretary in a heartbeat, but don’t want him in the Oval Office.

      • cmbhi

Steve, after reading his book, why do you say that? Are you afraid of living real Liberty? I know I don’t agree with everything Ron Paul says, but he is the only candidate who WANTS the individual to regain his/her sovereignty – as our Founders meant it to be. Are you really willing to end the Great American experience? Because if you vote for anyone other than Ron Paul, our Republic will be finished.

      • shirley

        steven….i agree….RON PAUL IN A DIFFERENT POSITION……BUT NOT PRESIDENT

    • cmbhi

      Amen! President Ron Paul 2012

    • osherie

TAKE YOUR HORSES BEHIND AND GIVE IT BACK TO YOUR HORSE. HE NEEDS IT. Ron Paul will never be elected President if he is the nominee. As much as you may like what he says. Main stream he is not. ROMNEY is and honorable man and I’m sick to death of scum like you putting him in the catagory of Rino. Stupid hateful man. Romney is the most electible and the most capable of fixing the economy stupid.

  • John

The way I see it, there MUST be something in Mitt Romney’s past that will guarentee Obama’s re-election. Just my opinion. I know nothing about Romney, but the elite’s, both left and right, are determined to pick Romney for us. That leaves me to believe that there’s something about Romney that ain’t (used intentionally) good that they’re saving for the General election. But, even if I’m wrong in this assertion, Romney is still NOT a conservative. He’s at best, a RINO, which, In my humble opinion, makes him unfit for the Oval Office. However, with all that said, I would still hold my nose and vote for him over Obama. We need to get Obama out at all costs. GO NEWT!! YOU’RE MY MAN FROM THIS DAY FORWARD.

    • Mountain Saint

John, Newt is so scandal-ridden that even Obama and Clinton would have to hang their heads in shame. Sure, Dr. Newt could beat Obama (who couldn’t use his teleprompter) in a debate but there wouldn’t be any substance there. You can’t trust or believe anything he says (just ask his wives).

    • osherie

THERE IS NOTHING IN ROMNEY’S PAST THAT WILL COME OUT OR TED KENNEDY WOULD HAVE FOUND IT! Your brain is frozen in stupid. What! You can’t fundamentally deal with an honest, man who has lived a clean life, actually attended school and studied, not partied? Can’t handle all that goodness?

  • http://facebook pat

it will be ron paul as president in 2012 or by 2016 it will be the united socialist states of america..
    no ifs ands or butts..

    • cmbhi

I wholeheartedly agree. It’s President Ron Paul who believes in our Republic, or Dictator X of the USSA.

  • Steven F

Mitt Romney is the preferred nominee of media. He won’t get his anal exam unless he is actually nominated. THEN it will be time to go full bore to support re-election.

    • osherie

Another crass, disquisting, unwarranted sentence. Hey Steven, did you borrow that line from comedy central? If you think the media is at all kind to Romney you don’t pay attention. This is a brilliant, talented man who, like many other Republicans has been portrayed by you and other bozos as any thing but. Your’re as sick a liar as MSNBC and Politico.

      • shirley

OSHERIE…….your ranting over romney and insulting the ones on the posts…(). that.say they will not vote for him()…..is not making much sence………AS YET THIS IS STILL A FREEDOM OF SPEECH NATION…..if you like him ”FINE”’ but the others are not stupid…..and you are probably only making them not like him even more…….COOL DOWN……and MAKE A BETTER CASE FOR HIM…….

  • Jerry

It’s never Mitt because just like an associate justice, the libs don’t know if the RINO will be on their side or the conservative side! It have become clear that the libs think that Mitt will be our candidate! Even Ann Coulter have said that! But I’m not sure what her motives are! One could be that people will downgrade Cain, Newt or the others with all of the unnecessary msm bs that they have to encounter!

    • Suzie

With her latest hit piece, Ann Coulter did to Gingrich what Karl Rove did to Christine O’Donnell. I have removed her from my email list. I have no use for Conservatives attacking Conservatives.
I remain undecided about the Republican candidates but one thing is for sure: I WILL vote and I will vote for anyone but Obama. I can hope those who are writing that they won’t vote or do a write-in if their particular candidate doesn’t win the Primary realize that by doing that they will help Obama and he will win for sure.

      • osherie

Your a listener lite. Short attention span.

  • Larry

Mitt Romney will have his chance when it gets closer to the elections and he will be treated jest like the rest of them. The SOB Barrack Obama will have his goons go after Romney the same way he has been doing to everyone else and he will not stop at anything . I have hopes that Barrack Obama will not make it to the elections he will be braught down by his ties to organized crime.

  • Jerry

We need Newt! For what it is worth Newt made Contract With America! Tht’s enough for me!

  • Dorris

Romney, is about as sneaky as Barack. He destroys his mistakes and lies.
They down some one that can show them up for what they are.
Is Lassie still alive? at least he came and got some one to help when their was some was in trouble.
To break it down ,BETTR DOG THAN WE HAVE NOW .,

Apparently you let people make up your mind for you. Yuck! If you don’t know the difference between Obama and Romney, You must work for Politico trashing all Republicans.

  • Francis Richard Romano

Ol Mitt Romney may just be the silver bullet of the far left !! I know how that sounds but just imagine at this time in American History our country faces the largest challenge of its life. How 2012 goes determines the fate of our complete society. It might already be to late for America, look at the changes Obama has been able to make subtle changes that has allowed him to bypass Congress many times. He has placed a number of czars that have the ability to control all aspects of Congress all he need is something big. Why do you think so many liberals have given the occupiers their blessing. Obama calls them patriots just upset at the lack of progress due to the Republicans, Nancy Pelosi thanks god for them. Not one word of condemnation about all the rapes, burning of flags or personal property. He has set the stage and loosened his spawn professional anarchists yes professional they come from all over the world to do the far left bidding. Let me ask you all a question what will you do when he disbands Congress and there is looting and burning of all cities in America. Think about it just how dangerous this man is who plays by no rules follows no code of conduct, his distaste for America you see in his eyes. It is time for Americans who are able to arm themselves while you still can This is the fight of our lifes.

    • osherie

Ol Gingrich Made a global warming commercial with Nancy. I wonder how much he was paid by Al Gore for that one? That loaded remark make you feel good? How brain dead can you be? Grace us with more insight.

romney is a rhino not a republican. that is why the dems/libs want him to win so bad. I will still stand by cain/newt. as far as newt’s past, we have all done things before that we now wish we had not, so why not a politian? they are not gods, tho alot have people have made them so, they are humans with flaws.

    • osherie

Romney is a Rino. How original. How wrong. Refuse to accept a descent, intelligent man who actually knows a lot about the economy! Now wouldn’t that be a breath of fresh air in the White House. Romney isn’t an entertainer, a professor, he’s an Economic work horse! Do the Country a favor and get some competance working for us!!!

It’s never Mitt Romney’s turn for anal media investigation because Liberals know Romney, although he’s running as a Conservative, is really a Liberal. Remember Scott Brown? The media doesn’t jump on Mitt for anything because they want him to be Republican canditate so no matter who wins the Predidency, it will still be a Liberal.

    • shirley

JERRY……SCOTT BROWN IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF ”’being a quick change artist” THE FIRST PERSON HE MET WITH RIGHT AFTER HE WAS ELECTED WAS OBAMA…….HE JUMPED IN HIS PICK-UP WENTUP TO D.C. FOR 4 DAYS AND MET WITH OBAMA……. REMEMBER…….FROM THEN ON HE NEVER REALLY STUCK WITH THE REPUBS ON VOTING……..I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED….

  • Mountain Saint

Sorry 119, for your information, the divorced Ronald Reagan talked like a Conservative from his teleprompter but walked like a liberal when in office. (1.) he was a deficit spender and tripled the national debt (2.) he changed America from a trade surplus nation into a trade deficit nation, costing us tens of millions Middle Class jobs and trillions of dollars in trade debt (3.) he tore down the borders with his amnesty and welcomed in an additional 38,000,000 additional illegal aliens into our country and most of the economic and social problems we have today (4.) he was almost impeached for his many scandals and violations of the Constitution (5.) he aided and assisted the enemies of this country by supplying them with weapons and missiles…The only candidate that is most like Reagan today is Obama, not Romney or Newt.

  • ARMYOF69

Newt is the only intelligent, politically smart, person running against Obama. He WILL shred Obama in any confrontation, and knows that our country is in very serious trouble on so many fronts, and that it needs a person who WILL fight for us WE THE PEOPLE.

    • cmbhi

And should Newt gain the nomination and shred Obama in the debtes and win, he will then go on with his plan to shred our Constitution! Newt has no faith in our Constitution or what our Founding Fathers created. He believes the Great American Experiment is dead and wants to ‘fundamentally transform’ America’s government system.
This is what newt said JUST TWO YEARS AGO:
“We need to fundamentally transform litigation, regulation, taxation, education, health, energy, infrastructure, and our national security apparatuses. The policies that we have in place today reflect the realities of the twentieth century. We can’t compete globally with our CURRENT LAWS, SYSTEMS, and obsolete bureaucracies that cannot operate at the speed of the twenty-first century; they don’t have the flexibility or effectiveness required to manage the issues of the day.”
What is our current law? The CONSTITUTION! What is our current system? The three tiered government and bi-cameral Congress!! Newt, like his mentor Alvin Toffler, believe the Constitution has run its course, that it is OUTDATED and that it is time to bury it with the rest of our Founders. Is that really what you want?
A vote for Newt is a vote for the death of our Republic!

  • Aardvark

Remember how Obama got elected? There was a media agenda to never criticize Obama in order to have their candidate win. It worked. America got a Marxist/Socialist into the Oval office!

Obama is now highly likely to lose in November 2012 because of his massive failures, along with many “liberal-minded” RINOs and other extreme radical Socialists such as Pelosi in Congress.

SOCIALIST MEDIA Agenda: So what is the best way to give Obama a chance to be re-elected? The media is now attempting to float the weakest GOP candidate to the top of the GOP ticket by not vetting Romney; that way in a run-off between Obama and Romney their candidate (Obama) has the best chance of being reelected. Only then will the lame-street media demolish Romney. They are keeping their ammunition in reserve in order to give Obama a favored status again!

Seems clear to me why we don’t want or need a RINO like Romney.

    • B. Hill

I think you’ve got it, Hobson!

    • osherie

Brilliant rino remark! Do you know nothing! Romney has been vetted. There is nothing to vet! He has lived his life with honor and integrity. Are you so bias that you refuse to see that?

  • Mountain Saint

For the truth about the “Newt”- read Joesph Farah’s November 18th article, “Newt shows his true colors.” He is unelectable.

  • Bimbam

Mitt Romney is DECENT – or that is the perception. You can’t run a decent man out of town.

Nuke on the other hand has divorced his sick wife. NOT DECENT. Thus the anal exam.

This works in reverse with liberals. A good example is oBUMya. Corrupt, ex-drug user, homosexual yet they make him president and lavish praise on him.

OBUMY represents the CORRUPT phase of America:

It is said when a society has prospered it, will then become corrupted, and then it will fall by ENEMY invasion.

Seems history is repeating itself with America.

America becomes the greatest and wealthiest nation the world has ever seen – (prosper aspect)

America elects an unqualified foreign Muslim negro – (corrupt phase)

America to be destroyed as prophecied in the Bible – (invasions phase by illegal immigration)

    Enjoy your last meal America.

Newt is the smartest, of all the candidates and the most conservative. He knows the constitution inside out, front to back.

I’m less concerned with Newt’s personal baggage, even his political baggage is less of a concern than the doper who played with homosexuality that we have in the WH now. As far as character and integrity goes, he is head and shoulders above “Slick Willie” with his philandering and accusations of rape, not to mention the bodies that “Billery” left behind in DC and AR.

He isn’t afraid to challenge the LSM, because he has nothing more to hide, we’ve all seen his laundry.

    • cmbhi

You don’t care about what Newt did in the past? Isn’t that exactly HOW we got Obummer because no one cared what he did in the past?? You want to repeat 2008 by electing a good-for-nothing, Constitution-hating, dictatorial ‘futurist’ in 2012?
I don’t know why, but I am always still so surprised at how easy it is for people to be fooled by slogans, talking points and one minute sound bites. I just keep praying that the majority of the electorate wakes from their stupor in time.

It’s very unfortunate that so many people believe Romney is the only one that can beat Obama. Obama is so hated and exposed, that he would need to seriously cheat to win, and we can count on him committing voter fraud. Romney is a true liberal, which is why he is being protected and pushed. People need to stop listening to the media, decided for themselves, and vote for the best candidate. If we want a smaller government, and to reinstate the Constitution, then I believe the best Candidates are: Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Bachman, and possibly Gingrich if he has changed and means what he says. You won’t find a bigger stickler for the Constitution than Ron Paul, and the man has no dirt on him, or the media would have exposed it by now. I’m not a Paul nut, but he’s a smart choice.

    • cmbhi

I think you can cross Cain and Gingrich off your list. They are both inside the insiders with Newt being a CFR member and Cain a Fed man.
I agree with your Paul/Bachmann choice, but believe Paul has more supporters and he polls high among independants and conservative democrats – and anyone who can pull dems away from Obama is an asset.

    • osherie

It is not unfortunate, it’s reality. Why? Because he is a man of integrity and enormous economic talent. To say Romney is a liberal tells me you don’t know you anything about him!!!!!

    • osherie

Who do you think you are kidding!! Soft? The stupidity of people is making me crazy. Good bye America for the next 20 years if you select a candidate that cannot beat OBama. Dems will say Romney if pressed, but only if pressed. They salivate over Newt Being the Republican candidate.

  • Michael

Why not support Michelle Bachman ? She is a perfect Conservative candidate !

  • Lois MacLaren

I have actually been wondering the same thing myself. Early on, I remember someone saying that the White House strategy was to “defeat Romney.” Then it seemed like the mainstream media jumped on the bandwagon in an attempt to convince the electorate that Romney was the ONLY viable candidate who could oppose Obama in the general election. However, Romney is not conservative enough to warrant the support of serious conservatives. Romney is also not regarded as being Christian enough to merit the support of serious Christians. Obama has already said, at least once, that Romney-care in Massachusetts set the pattern which was used when Obama-care was being fabricated. So I can imagine that White House strategists believe that it would be easy for the President to come out ahead in a debate with Romney about health care. Even more importantly, however, is the fact that, for 150 years, the official position of the Latter Day Saints church (Mormons) regarding members of African American descent was that those members could NOT serve as members of the “priesthood.”

“In 1949 the LDS Church First Presidency issued an official statement on priesthood denial to blacks:

The attitude of the church with reference to the Negroes remains as it has always stood. It is not a matter of the declaration of a policy but of direct commandment from the Lord on which is founded the doctrine of the Church from the days of its organization, to the effect that Negroes may become members of the Church but that they are not entitled to the priesthood at the present time (As quoted in Black Saints in a White Church, by Jessie L. Embry, p. 24, Signature Books, 1994).”

It seems to me that liberals in general, and the liberals in the White House in particular, would believe that it would always be easy to attack Romney regarding the documented history of the Mormon church regarding the church’s official policies regarding discrimination against people with dark skins. Although leaders of the LDS church had a sudden “revelation” in 1978 that it was now OK to allow persons with dark skins to serve in the priesthood of the LDS church, there are still not a large number of converts to Mormonism who are of African-American descent.

It seems to me that it is logical to presume that White House strategists – and their liberal friends in the liberal media – see Romney as a candidate who will guarantee the White House an easy win on the issues relating to health care and civil rights. And those issues could, logically, be considered to be the centerpiece of the White House bid for re-election.

Your History lesson is lacking substance and all the facts. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints were driven out of Missouri partly because they opposed slavery. Strange, history tells us that Georgia, Bama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Lousiana, and the list goes on, are States that beat, raped, enslaved, people kidnapped from Africa. Did those facts escape you?

    • Les Godbold

It was the Democrats’ who opposed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts of the 60s.
The liberal elite really have no use for negros except for their votes. Socialism really has never been a friend to blacks, it only uses them. That is why it is called the democratic “plantation”. Back in the day when the communists sympathized with and advised Dr. King, when black churches were hijacked to preach “social change” instead of Christ, it all looked good on paper. Much of the socialist “rules for radicals” goals have been achieved in this country. They have taken over the majority of public communications roles, i.e., the news media and Hollywood, they have taken over the majority of the Universities, just talk to any college kid who doesn’t have a mind for himself. Evil corporations, save the planet, blah blah blah. This is the United States of America, though. A shining City on a Hill. We are exceptional. I think it might have been Winston Churchill that said, “Americans will alway do the right thing, they will try everything else first, but in the end, they will do what is right.” Socialism is not, what is in the end.

They haven’t thrown any mud at Romney yet because they think, or hope he will be the nominee and they can beat him. They’re helping him get the nomination. Even the media hasn’t gone after him yet. Don’t think for a minute that they’re not digging anything and everything they can find on him and saving it for when he is the nominee. Then there will be no alternate Republican to rise to the top.

  • Mountain Saint

Don, the Tea Party people and the true Republicans will not allow the RINO Romney to become the Republican nominee. If Romney doen’t have the majority at the first convention vote, then by the third or fourth vote either Sarah Palin (who already has been vetted) or Donald Trump (who can’t be bought) will get the nomination…. Sarah Palin already has a reputation of cleaning up house and would do the same thing at the Federal level.

27 Reasons Why Newt Gingrich Would Be A Really, Really Bad President
In recent weeks, the poll numbers for Newt Gingrich have absolutely skyrocketed. Many now believe that he has a legitimate shot at winning the Republican nomination. But the truth is that he would be a really, really bad president. Gingrich is a big time Washington insider who believes in individual health care mandates, who supported the bailouts, who was instrumental in cramming NAFTA down the throats of the American people and who is either soft or wrong on just about every single issue that conservatives care about. His personal life has a history of being a mess, his finances have a history of being a mess and his campaign was such a mess a few months ago that most observers considered his candidacy to be completely dead. He has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations for two decades and he has been spotted attending meetings at the Bohemian Grove. He sounds good during a debate, but it really boggles the mind that anyone would consider voting for someone with such a nightmarish track record.
The funny thing is that a lot of Tea Party activists are now jumping on board the Gingrich bandwagon. A couple of years ago, the Tea Party movement was very much anti-establishment and Tea Party activists declared that they were sick and tired of “fake conservatives” and “RINOs”.
Well, other than Mitt Romney, there isn’t anyone left in the Republican field that is more of a “fake conservative” than Gingrich is. Gingrich is a big time “RINO” that represents just about everything that the Tea Party is supposed to be against.
It just seems inconceivable that a big chunk of Republicans would actually be thinking of voting for Gingrich at this point. Yes, four more years of Obama would be a complete and total disaster for America, but so would a Gingrich administration.
The following are 27 reasons why Newt Gingrich would be a really, really bad president….
#1 In 2008, Newt Gingrich did a television commercial with Nancy Pelosi in which he stated that they both agree that “our country must take action to address climate change”. He now calls making this commercial “a mistake”, but this is yet another example of the lack of sound judgment that Gingrich has shown throughout his entire political career….
#2 Newt Gingrich also worked with Nancy Pelosi to promote the idea of a national sales tax on energy.
#3 In a 2007 interview with PBS, Gingrich endorsed the idea of a “cap and trade” scheme to limit carbon emissions….
“I think if you have mandatory carbon caps combined with a trading system, much like we did with sulfur, and if you have a tax-incentive program for investing in the solutions, that there’s a package there that’s very, very good. And frankly, it’s something I would strongly support.”
#4 During this campaign, Newt Gingrich has loudly denounced Obamacare, but in 2008 he wrote a book entitled “Real Change” in which he endorsed an individual mandate for health insurance.
#5 In fact, earlier this year Newt Gingrich stated during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press that he still believes in an individual mandate. The following is from an exchange between host David Gregory and Gingrich during the show….
MR. GREGORY: All right, let me ask you about another hot-button issue in the Republican primary, of course, and that’s health care. Mitt Romney having to defend his proponent–that he was a proponent of universal health care in Massachusetts, and specifically around this idea of the individual mandate where you make Americans buy insurance if they don’t have it. Now, I know you’ve got big differences with what you call Obamacare. But back in 1993 on this program this is what you said about the individual mandate. Watch.
    (Videotape, October 3, 1993)
REP. GINGRICH: I am for people, individuals–exactly like automobile insurance–individuals having health insurance and being required to have health insurance. And I am prepared to vote for a voucher system which will give individuals, on a sliding scale, a government subsidy so we insure that everyone as individuals have health insurance.
    (End videotape)
MR. GREGORY: What you advocate there is precisely what President Obama did with his healthcare legislation, is it not?
REP. GINGRICH: No, it’s not precisely what he did. In, in the first place, Obama basically is trying to replace the entire insurance system, creating state exchanges, building a Washington-based model, creating a federal system. I believe all of us–and this is going to be a big debate–I believe all of us have a responsibility to help pay for health care. I think the idea that…
MR. GREGORY: You agree with Mitt Romney on this point.
REP. GINGRICH: Well, I agree that all of us have a responsibility to pay–help pay for health care. And, and I think that there are ways to do it that make most libertarians relatively happy. I’ve said consistently we ought to have some requirement that you either have health insurance or you post a bond…
    MR. GREGORY: Mm-hmm.
REP. GINGRICH: …or in some way you indicate you’re going to be held accountable.
MR. GREGORY: But that is the individual mandate, is it not?
REP. GINGRICH: It’s a variation on it.
#6 Newt Gingrich has made some very curious statements about Obamacare. For example, he recently made the following statement about the Obamacare law….
“Now there are about 300 pages that are pretty good”
#7 The truth is that Newt Gingrich is very, very soft on health care. Just consider the following excerpt about Newt from a recent Washington Post article….
In 2005, he sat down with then-Sen. Hillary Clinton to make common cause over health care. He said he and Clinton “have the same instinct” on health care and praised the notion of a health-care “transfer of finances” from rich to poor. “I risk sounding not quite as right wing as I should,” Gingrich said at the time. “I’ve spent enough of my life fighting,” he added.
#8 Newt Gingrich voted for higher taxes on numerous occasions. While he was Speaker of the House, the amount of taxes collected by the federal government from the American people increased from $1.001 trillion to $1.511 trillion. Would the amount of taxes extracted from us increase by another 50 percent during a Gingrich presidency?
#9 In 2008, Newt Gingrich stated that he would have voted for the TARP bailout if he was still a member of Congress.
#10 In 2003, Newt Gingrich boldly promoted George W. Bush’s prescription drug bill. Because of that bill, the federal government is now facing an additional 17 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities.
#11 Newt Gingrich is a big time Washington insider that is often paid huge sums of money for doing next to nothing. Gingrich has said that he was paid $300,000 for “work” that he did for Freddie Mac, but according to Bloomberg he actually earned somewhere between $1.6 million and $1.8 million between 1999 and 2008.
So what did he do for Freddie Mac? Gingrich claims that he warned Freddie Mac about the housing bubble, but the report by Bloomberg disputes this….
None of the former Freddie Mac officials who spoke on condition of anonymity said Gingrich raised the issue of the housing bubble or was critical of Freddie Mac’s business model.
It turns out that much of the “work” that Gingrich was expected to do never actually got done….
Former Freddie Mac officials familiar with his work in 2006 say Gingrich was asked to build bridges to Capitol Hill Republicans and develop an argument on behalf of the company’s public-private structure that would resonate with conservatives seeking to dismantle it.
He was expected to provide written material that could be circulated among free-market conservatives in Congress and in outside organizations, said two former company executives familiar with Gingrich’s role at the firm. He didn’t produce a white paper or any other document the firm could use on its behalf, they said.
#12 Newt Gingrich has also had a very “cozy” relationship with the ethanol industry. The following is from a recent NewAmerican article….
The cozy relationship Gingrich has with the ethanol industry led to his consulting business winning more than $300,000 in fees from the ethanol lobby after he left Congress. The Wall Street Journal noted April 27, 2011 that “Professor Gingrich says his ethanol support is grounded in his lifetime of studying history and intellectual problems, but what about that $312,500 from the ethanol lobby?… We’ve never suggested Mr. Gingrich has been bought off, though of course there wouldn’t be an ethanol lobby to hire Mr. Gingrich if there weren’t politicians like Mr. Gingrich willing to prop it up with taxpayer dollars, tariffs and mandates.”
#13 Newt Gingrich is a firm believer in the job-killing “free trade” agenda of the globalists. Newt Gingrich voted for NAFTA and he is a staunch supporter of the WTO. He once made the following statement on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives….
“What we’re being told is that free trade with Mexico would devastate the U.S. economy. With its low wages, Mexico would unleash a flood of cheap imports into our markets. There would be a mass exodus of U.S. factory jobs, as hordes of American companies fled across the border…. All this is scare talk.”
#14 Newt Gingrich is pro-amnesty for illegal aliens. He has made statements on numerous occasions where he has advocated a “pathway to citizenship” for the millions of illegal immigrants that have been living in this country for an extended period of time.
#15 In 1995, Newt Gingrich actually promoted the idea that the War Powers Act should be repealed.
#16 Newt Gingrich seems very confused when it comes to abortion. Just consider the following statements….
    A- “I believe most Americans are pro-choice and anti-abortion.”
B- “I think that abortion should not be legal, and I think that how you would implement that I’m not sure.”
C- “As with any public policy, the more strongly public opinion is swayed in defense of unborn life, the more our laws should and will change as a result.”
#17 The following is how author Dick Williams described Newt’s attitude toward pro-life issues when he became Speaker of the House in 1995….
Gingrich is opposed to abortion but does not believe the nation is ready to enact a constitutional ban. In the first three months of 1995, while the Contract With America was being debated, he angered some Republican congressmen by detouring them from anti-abortion amendments to bills and by putting aside their arguments that a welfare reform package might lead to an increase in abortions.
#18 Newt Gingrich supported the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 that put a significant number of new restrictions on gun owners.
#19 Several of the Republican candidates are suggesting that the Department of Education should be shut down, but back in 1979 Newt Gingrich voted for the creation of the Department of Education under President Jimmy Carter.
#20 News Gingrich has said that he believes that we should have Singapore-style drug tests for Americans.
#21 How can we trust Newt Gingrich to manage America’s finances when he has done such a horrible job managing his own finances. According to Politico, Gingrich once owed a debt to Tiffany Jewelry that was somewhere between $250,000 and $500,000. Politico tried to find out if this debt was still active but Gingrich was not willing to talk about it….
When asked by POLITICO whether Gingrich has settled this debt, and why he owed between a quarter-million and a half-million dollars to a jeweler, Rick Tyler, Gingrich’s spokesman, declined to comment.
“No comment,” he said in an email.
#22 How can we trust Newt Gingrich to run America when he can’t even run his own campaign? A few months ago, the senior staff of his campaign resigned en masse. It is literally a miracle that the Gingrich campaign has lasted as long as it has.
#23 For someone that preaches against debt, he sure seems to be able to rack it up. Back in July, it was reported that the Gingrich campaign was a million dollars in debt.
#24 Newt Gingrich was once fined $300,000 by the House Ethics Committee. An article in Esquire detailed why he received such a large fine….
His bitterness only deepened when the House Ethics Committee started investigating GOPAC’s donations to his college class and caught him trying to hide his tracks by raising money through a charity for inner-city kids called the Abraham Lincoln Opportunity Foundation. Another charity of his called Earning by Learning actually spent half its money supporting a former Gingrich staffer who was writing his biography. Gingrich even gave out the 800 number for videotapes on the House floor. The Ethics Committee found him guilty of laundering donations through charities, submitting “inaccurate, incomplete, and unreliable” testimony, and making “an effort to have the material appear to be nonpartisan on its face, yet serve as a partisan, political message for the purpose of building the Republican party.” Seven years after he had destroyed Jim Wright for a lesser offense, the committee punished Gingrich with the highest fine ever imposed on a Speaker of the House, $300,000.
#25 Newt Gingrich has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations since 1990. This alone should immediately disqualify him from consideration for the Republican nomination.
Former Congressman John R. Rarick once said the following about the Council on Foreign Relations….
The CFR, dedicated to one-world government, financed by a number of the largest tax-exempt foundations, and wielding such power and influence over our lives in the areas of finance, business, labor, military, education and mass communication media, should be familiar to every American concerned with good government and with preserving and defending the U.S. Constitution and our free-enterprise system. Yet, the nation’s right to know machinery – the news media – usually so aggressive in exposures to inform our people, remain conspicuously silent when it comes to the CFR, its members and their activities.
The CFR is the establishment. Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also finances and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high-level decisions for converting the United States from a sovereign constitutional republic into a servile member of a one-world dictatorship.
#26 Newt Gingrich has been spotted attending meetings at the Bohemian Grove. I wonder what all of those evangelical voters that Newt is courting would think if they learned of the pagan rituals and mock child sacrifices that take place there every year?
#27 Many Republican voters are deeply troubled by the fact that Newt Gingrich has actually cheated on two different wives and is now married to a third wife. The following is how a recent CBS News article described his marital history….
When he was speaker of the House, Gingrich had an affair with Callista Bisek, then a young committee staff aide, while married to his second wife, Marianne Gingrich. He divorced Marianne in 1999. Eighteen years earlier, he proposed to Marianne while he was still married to his first wife, Jackie Battley, who has said that Gingrich told her he wanted a divorce while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery.
When his second wife asked him how he could give speeches on family values while he was cheating on her, Gingrich is reported to have said the following….
“It doesn’t matter what I do,” he answered. “People need to hear what I have to say.”
Newt Gingrich doesn’t just have skeletons in his closet – he has a whole family of skeletons in his closet.
Hopefully the American people will realize that Newt Gingrich would be an absolute disaster as president.
This country is rapidly running out of time, and the 2012 election represents one of the last chances that we have to turn this nation around.
If America elects Newt Gingrich, we will stay on the same road that Clinton, Bush and Obama have been marching us down.
    We simply cannot afford that.
Please choose wisely in 2012 America. http://www.vimeo.com/6445068
Newt can be control by special interest and be their puppet.Like Soros controls the media and Obama. I vote for Ron Paul. Michelle Bachmann can help. No candidate can win without all the women voting. The rest have a very bad respect for the women values. I hope the women can show.

Obama and his minions are counting on a division within the conservative party so he can skate into office again. They enjoyed watching us self destruct in 2008, and they’re sitting back and laughing at us again. Obama can beat Romney, easily. Mitt is too nice and polite to fight Obama’s dirty Chicago-style politics.

Pitting conservatives against each other using RELIGION will be the wedge that BHO’s group will use to make the divide between us. Mitt doesn’t have the ‘star’ power that BHO has. Consider this fact: BO is nothing more than an actor, and we all know that a good actor can make us believe he is anyone and anything. Actors, by trade, are posers, liars, cheats and fakes.

    That is our president.
