Will Rick Perry’s Choice to Opt Out of GOP Presidential Debates Hurt His Campaign?

Over two months ago Texas Governor Rick Perry entered the Republican presidential race, where he immediately assumed frontrunner status. Now, he is trailing at fourth place in the polls, below Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. The Perry camp is now announcing that the governor is limiting his future debate appearances.

Chris Stirewalt, Fox News Digital Politics Editor, joined Megyn Kelly to talk about the governor’s choice of opting out of certain debates. Stirewalt went on that Perry didn’t debate at all when he was running for governor and said, “He runs the risk that he looks like he’s running scared and if that becomes the Perry narrative, then he has serious trouble.”
