Romney’s Top 5 Flip-Flops

Print Friendly

As a two-time GOP presidential candidate, Mitt Romney has been in the national spotlight longer than most of his GOP rivals. And as the country has changed over the 17 years since Romney launched his first campaign, a bid for one of Massachusetts’ Senate seats, so too have some of his policy positions.

Whether it is his conflicting comments about Massachusetts health care legislation or his shifting statements on abortion, Romney’s rival White House hopefuls have blasted the former Massachusetts governor for changing his tune.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, for example, has launched two ads attacking Romney for being “misleading” and having “flip-flopped on so many issues.” And Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann blasted Romney, although not by name, over his stance on abortion, saying in June that it was “not the time for Republicans to put up a candidate who is weak on this issue and has a history of flip-flopping on this issue.”

Conditions change so I am still for Romney if he can beat obamination. Besides I saw him take a 2002 Winter Olympic program that was dead and save it. He can manage.

If you think that Gorge Soros beat Hillary last time just who do you think the Clintons are in bed with? Answer: George Soros. Who is George Soros in bed with? Answer: The Bilderbergs. Some think it’s a load of crapp and some think its true but if you do enough research into it you will find out alot more information exhist to prop up the conspiricy than there is to tear it down.

Diane, Soros is in bed with the Saudi(s). Therefore, Clinton and Obama both are in bed with them.

Now you are talking. Romney may not be our first choice, but if he is the most likely to beat Obama, he is our best choice. We must stand 100% behind whomever our nominee may be. Obama will have a lot of money and help to win (or steal) the next election. He is desperate to remain in power and complete his CHANGE of turning our country into a has been 3rd world nation…..the Obamanation. United we win, divided we lose. Let’s get busy!!

That sort of thing could cause us to lose the election. Don’t do it. We all have to stand together once we have a candidate to go up against Obama.

          • Shirley

Ron Paul will never win the Presidency. He may have some good ideas but is way off base on a number of important issues. Isolationism will not help us in the long

          • scotwright

Romney has made one or two small mistakes in his life while Obama’s whole life has been a mistake. If you want to hear Obama’s story go to YouTube or pull out your old records or tapes and listen to the BEEGEES songs. Listen closely to the words of the song “I started a joke”. This is Mao’s, Hitler’s , Stalin’s, Marx’s, and OBAMA’S story. The joke of the Obama Regime can’t get over too soon for me. I hope we don’t listen to the Anti-Christian bigots and miss the chance to have a decent, well-vetted, intelligent, caring man in our White House. Mitt Romney is that man.

Why do you think he over rode Congress By a “So Called Executive Order on the Dream Act? Plus he has already given ACORN $250,000 to go to the grave yards and get names then follow up with the Social Security Numbers! I suggest if anyone sees any of this slime in action start breaking their arms and legs. • Mack

            @Porland Dan

Dan, I’m afraid you’ve been misled by the media and leftists (who don’t want to be associated with Naziism) into believing that the Nazis (Right Wing) are the opposite of Socialists (Left Wing), right?

Allow me to educate you (and I expect you to start educating yourself in the future…ok? I believe you are old enough). Nationalsozialismus is the official German word and the NAZI party is the abbreviation or nickname. What is Nationalsozialismus or Naziism? Well believe it or not it translates into English to mean National Socialism. Wow, that is weird! Socialism is the opposite of Socialism? You see, the Nazi party was simply one particular branch of socialism which stressed Nationalism. Hitler in particular also had the evil (and I might add based on Darwin’s survival of the fittest) belief in the perfection of the species.

Anyway, in Europe they didn’t really understand the concept of Liberty (the definition of the Right in America) and thus their left was Communism (one type of statism) and their Right was Socialism (another form of statism). These two sides hated each other, not because one was for big government and the other for small, but because they were fighting over who would have the power of big government.

In America, Left equals big government in all its forms (Communism, Socialism, Monarchy, Sharia, etc.) and the Right equals limited government (far right equals anarchy…which always ends in the statism of the left).

Well, now that you are educated you can stop ridiculing people who compare Socialism and Naziism…Naziism IS a form of Socialism.

          • Silver Bullets

It cracks me up how so many people on this site make claims that so-and-so is the ONLY person who can do this or that. LOL

For everyone who makes such a claim, there are at least three others who’d swear their “hero” du jour is the ONLY one. It’s getting almost comical.

In the final analysis, I predict that obama will indeed be a one term (albeit illegitimate fraud of a) President.

          • JayJay

Yes, after carefully analyzing the overall qualifications of each of the candidates, I find that Newt Gingrich leads the pack by far. He has the background, experience, intellect, knowledge of both foreign and domestic policy and ascribes to all other important policies that will lead our country in a positive direction, bringing us back from the brink of destruction rendered by the current President. However, the electorate seems to be writing this great
leader and statesman off because of an incident or two (relatively small in retrospect) that happened years ago when he was Speaker of the House. Everyone, even those in power, is subject to one or two mistakes in the course of their careers, no one is perfect except for our Lord and Savior (not to be mistaken for Mr. Obama). It is the likes of Mr. Obama who make crucial mistakes on a daily basis that are obviously impacting the country in the most negative ways possible. His policies are a grave and ever increasing concern and threat to our national security, not even to mention the total disaster he has made of our economy, thus he has to go. Again, Newt Gingrich comes out on top when all is said and done. Although he is a very eloquent speaker and presents himself well, he may lack some of the magnatism and charm possessed by some of the candidates (including the incumbent President), this is not a personality or congeniality contest. My fellow Americans, I challenge you to do your homework by research and objective thinking before making a decision on your vote. This is one of the best methods available to assist you in reaching an informed and conclusive decision, one in which you can be
confident and proud. Newt Gingrich is a good and capable man. I ask you to give him a fair and reasonable chance. Thank you for your time in reading this comment.

If Romney wins the Rep nomination, I am sorry to say that
Obamanation will continue. No R.I.N.O.’s! And I also believe
Newt is not the best choice for V.P. Cain’s running mate
should be Marco Rubio. (Did I spell his name right?)

          • Silver Bullets

As much as it pains me to say so…Rubio is NOT ELIGIBLE. Just like obama, Rubio is NOT meet the ‘natural born’ criteria.

There is a very complicated dynamic going on behind the scenes concerning why obama has not yet been prosecuted for deliberately side-stepping this requirement.

I hope one day yet, to see him wearing his bright orange jump suit along with filthy dirty harry and that witch pelosi and everyone else who conspired on o’s behalf in running their ‘long con’ on the American people to sneak o into the White House.

I hope they can nail soros too, while they’re at it!

          • Waldodhc

He said he is NOT going to be accepting that position. Keep up with what these people say.

          • Jock1949

1st of all good discussion from everyone. Marco Rubio would be a good choice for VP except he does not want the job. He wants to serve his term as Senator. He was in fact, born in Miami and eligible. He feels he can serve the country better where he is. A good candidate for 2020. (Unless, God forbid, Obama can get enough illegal votes for a second time I mean term?) I think we were to quick to run away from Perry. Take another look before you write him off. Romney looks to be the party’s choice, Cain seems to be the disenchanted’s choice. We need to reason and select our candidate using our brain and our gut and be careful not to let emotions cloud the field. DO NOT LET THE MEDIA CHOICE OUR CANDIDATE AGAIN!

          • Jock1949

DO NOT LET THE MEDIA CHOOSE OUR CANDIDATE AGAIN!!!!!

          • Mack

            @Silver Bullet

What does natural born citizen mean? Our constitution (via amendment) says that anyone born here is a citizen…from the moment their born. So what makes Rubio not a natural born citizen? Because his parents weren’t citizens when he we born? You can’t make the rules up as you go along.

If he wasn’t born here, then you are correct. Please explain to me why natural born citizen disqualifies Rubio.

        • azwayne

We need to use our brains and pick REAL moral based true conservatives, this crap of picking winners is asinine. Bunch of brai n washed uneducated voters, think it’s another reality tv pick the winner, crap. Romney is totally corrupt politicians, whatever satisfies media and controls election results. CORRUPT politicians are destruction of America, 80% of congress needs eliminated and ALL candidates using government propaganda to sway iuneducated voters.

          • http://dmt.6@comcast.net DMT

I agree, everyone is afraid to pick a candidate and get behind them. I choose Herman Cain. I understand when they say he doesn’t have foreign policy experience. id Obama? I understand when they say he has never been in politics. That is one large thing in his favor. Romney is just a Republican Obama. He is a politician that is why he keeps saying he is not.
We have been run over for far too long by politicians and the factions that have their lobyist run the government. My son says there is no way Obama will get reelected and I REMIND HIM THAT IS WHAT HE SAID BEFORE HE GOT ELECTED THE FIRST TIME. If you have the power and position of the presidency and the IRS to do your biding and the unions to enforce your demands and the young that believe all your bull and a billion dollars as a reelection nest egg. Yes you can and yes he will. We all assume it will be an honest election. We are waiting for the government to fix this mess we are in. We are in this mess because of them, not because they can fix something. For every action the government takes there is a double reaction in the wrong direction. The government does not make anything, how can they provide jobs. I have heard from the government many times and they tell me there has been hundreds of thousands of dollars put back to help my business. What do they suggest? Am I suppose to go out and hire someone to hire me? How idiotic can they be??

          • Elaine

DMT, be very very careful. Yes, Romney flip flopped.
In 72 hours so did Cain:
            Paraphrasing:
            1) I would have Muslims on my staff (Muslims are allowed to lie to Infidels);
            2) When asked about it? States that he “Misspoke (sp)”; in other words, he didn’t know what he was really saying.
            3) Changed it to — they can give me an Oath (same mistake–Muslims allowed to lie to infidels);
            4) I will have homosexuals on my staff;
            5) Hard-line stance on Homosexuality as a sin
Homosexuality is a sin and a choice
            6) He apologized to Mexico for voicing “I will put an electric fence on the border.”

        • Sylvia M. Auten

If you are able to think back to the last election campaigns, it was the Gov Crist of Florida who put the double cross along with John McCain to put the screws to Mitt
Romney last time. Read Romneys books and you may
be able to better judge for yoursleves if he is ready to
preside. He has done his homework, and if one wants to
look at changing one’s mind, then look at Rick Perry who
used to be DEMOCRAT but turned. Let us use all of
the good talent in the current candidates and we will see some good change. Ron Paul is off the wall much of the time, but still has some legislative experience so could be
helpful in defeating the current president. N. Gingrich and M Bachmann has legislative experience, as does
others who have been governors. Let’s get the best one
          and get on with it.

          • MeganColorado

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately, very few people will take the time to read Mitt Romney’s book. He explains himself very well, and you quickly realize that he is very intelligent. I’ve watched all of the debates then read a wide variety of news agencies on-line news reporting. It is alarming how often Romney is partial quoted, or mis-quoted. It is amusing how he is accused of being a flip-flopper when every single candidate now running can be accused of the very same. It’s a very catchy phrase that the Democrats used against him once before, and the Republicans are foolish enough to take the bait again. We’re being manipulated by the media and buying into it. We deserve what we get.

        • JoJo

Considering that Romney has stated that he would sign WAIVERS for Obamacare so that the states could decide if they want to participate is just one more reason he shouldn’t be president. Romney is Obama lite and I think the people will relax and go back to sleep thinking that because a republican was elected that all is well. I think Romney will continue what Obama is doing, he’ll just do it slower as to not reawaken us. It will be extremely important to make sure that TEA party constitutionalist senators and house members are elected to keep the pressure on.

        Like a “yellow dog”?
That’s how we got Obama. Bachmann gets a detail wrong but the message right and stays on the message yet whiners focus on the detail. Assembling mass information at lightning speed will leave misspeak and do not trump message without proof the message is fraud, message is proven correct. Yet whiners persist.
Whiners about Bachmann’s IRS connection sound like Libs too if they are not Libs. A few Infiltrators and media’s reports on people that have nothing to do with Bachmann’s stance or record have Pub voters buying into the electability scheme.
So sure Lib media and Lib posts do not affect you are ya? See what you want to see and blame anyone but yourself. Other candidates not only flipped Mfinity they have copied Bachmann’s stance with words but the plans are different.

Last I checked, West isn’t in the race and Rubio (regrettably) like obama, isn’t eligible to run under Article II, Section I, Clause 5–neither he or obama meet the “natural born citizen” requirement. The law is the law and one fraud is quite enough, don’t you think?

            So your point was…???

          • Geof

No way would that pair defeat Obama. Try again.

          • Mack

On what do you base your statement? Reagan never stood a chance against Carter or Mondale, but he ended up taking 49 states in his re-election (everyone said he would lose).

Even the polls show Cain beating Obama…What is the history that shows Cain can’t beat him? What is the reasoning other than the line that the media is feeding you?

        • http://Yahoo Cora

Just like Jimmy Carter, a laughling man is not made to be president, and Cain is just that Bachmann is ok but not Cain.

          • Mack

What does a laughing man mean? Someone with a sense of humor? I don’t see anything wrong with that. His proposals aren’t jokes. You may disagree with them, but they are serious. In what way is Cain similar to Carter other than that he is a “laughing man?”

Carter was weak and dishonest. Cain is the opposite. Weak people won’t say things that are true, but politically incorrect. Cain has shown that he is willing to make people feel uncomfortable with the truth. It’s about time we had some uncomfortable truth…

It’s a shame that we Republicans are bickering and name calling. we need to stop the debates and rally around a canidate. We need to be on board and get the Kenyan Imposter out of the White House. Either we impeach him or vote him out but OBOZO needs to go and we must root out all the socialists who are his benifactors. • SaneRepublican

That is going to work for Republicans about as well as the “ANYBODY BUT BUSH” strategery [sic] worked for the Democrats in 2004.

When are you people going to learn that voters actually want to vote *for* someone. Voting for “the lesser of two evils” results in the status quo because it does not inspire people to vote for a change.

      • bruce brinkmann

Man, am I ever with you on that my friend. Never before in the history of America have we needed a serious candidate, focused on fixing the problems and not the blames. I really don’t care who cut Mitt Romney’s grass! I care about stopping the insane spending, and the out of control growth of this Gov. To me Romney is Obama LITE. Nothing much will change it he is the next POTUS. But, understandably that is the MSM’s choice. Sustain the statu quo. I pray by some miracle, Ron Paul will get the nomination. Real change toward restoring America.

        • Mike

Ron Paul in 2012. Like flip-flop Cain says: “Say Amen ya’ll.”

        • hijinx60

Bruce….I am in complete agreement with you. All that I have talked to, including democrats, have said that Ron Paul is the only hope for America and they are afraid of Romney.

          • Kelly

I am looking for less talk and more action. The Dems have done nothing but talk and have not backed any of it up. Romney who I like can not stay on the high side of the fence and I like Paul’s ideas. I want him to do them just not talk about them. Right now my money is on Paul.

          • Livefree1200cc

            Ron Paul/Gary Johnson 2012 !

          • ChuckH

I like Ron Paul and his ideas. Unfortunately he has been around the block one too many times and has long since been successfully painted as the fringe right wing. I like him and his ideas, but he just is not gonna get the traction to win. And honestly, once the Repub nominee is chosen, get behind him regardless. Third party conservatives only help ensure Democrats get elected. Any thing else and you can look in the mirror and thank/blame yourself for getting Obama re-elected.

          • Ray Sarchet

Romney is another “Run to Lose” candidate just like
McCain was. He wanted the Republican nomination,
he didn’t want to win the Presidential election. Why,
            dear God, why????

        • DA SMITH

I just read Art Laffer’s article on Cain’s “9-9-9″ plan—sounds good–read it for yourself in the wall street journal or I think they link to it from Cain’s website.

          • ChuckH

DA Smith. Couldn’t agree more. Herman Cain is the guy all of us are begging for, we just haven’t admitted to ourselves yet. His tax plan is excellent and has received many endorsements from prestigious tax and economic associations, regardless of what the liberal media tries to make us think (remember who they are voting for). These associations have reviewed the details of his 9-9-9 plan and have said it is exactly what is needed to right the economy. And for those on this thread who want to tout the Christianity of Mitt Romney – the non-Christian Mormon – Herman Cain is a devout Biblical Christian raised by Christian parents and worked up to where he is from nothing, growing up in the segregated South of the 1950s and 60s. Get his book. It is well worth the read. I just finished it and that sealed the deal for me about who this guy really is. Obama is dismissing his campaign because he wants us to believe HC doesn’t have a chance because he is afraid that if HC wins the GOP nomination, he (Obama) will not have a prayer of winning…. So, Obama’s campaign keeps the focus on Romney as the defacto winner, so that the news media will try to convince everyone that any other vote is a waste of time.

          • Livefree1200cc

Once a FED banker – always a FED banker! Cain is no good for this country if he can not see the destruction the FED has had on our dollar. Since 1913 when the FED was created, our dollar has eroded to 3 cents. So things that cost 3 cents in 1913 now cost a dollar. This is not a natural phenomena of money – this is direct manipulation and hidden taxation by the FED. And it will get much worse if we don’t stop QE3 that they are already hinting to

          • Dale

            D.A. Smith
Hermond Cains “9-9-9 ” plan. This plan will add 9% more to everyones cost of living even your Phone bill, Electric Bill, Satellite an Intrenet. It would absolutly devistate people trying to live on minimum wage or Social Security. Thats a 9% national SALES TAX on every thing.

          • Don39

Dale is a fool that has no idea what he is talking about. Its Ok to not know something, but to act like you do and spout off nonesense is to make yourself a fool. minus 20% embedded tax(Aprox.) plus 9% sales tax = a gain of about 11 cents on the dollar to most of us!

          • Don39

Cain was never a Fed Banker. Another ignorant lie! He was on an advisory board. To the ignorant that difference probably does not matter!

          • Silver Bullets

I’m so glad you read his article. I bristled a bit when Cain first proposed his 9-9-9 plan, but I have a lot of respect for Mr Laffer and he really helped me to come around.

Michele Bachmann was my candidate of choice, followed closely by Herman Cain. Unfortunately, it looks like Bachmann is destined for a crash and burn…just like Paul.

I’ve been predicting a show-down between Cain and Romney and the latest polls seem to support this…with Cain pulling ahead of Romney by 4 (double digits over the others) and trailing obama by just 8 points.

A lot can happen over the next 12 months, but of one thing I’m certain: barack obama will indeed be a one term (illegal) President.

        • RW

Illegal aliens are one of the BIG problems this country is having right now. Everybody should check out the employees of contractors etc when they do work for you. I refuse to allow any company working in conjunction with me to do work with illegals. You better care who mows everybodies grass and takes work away from real Americans

          • Ron S.

You are absolutely right on with this approach. I have always said, that if for instance you are a company or individual that is starting to build a big fancy restaurant. You hire a construction company, but you have in that contract, that they are not to use ANYONE that is in this country illegally, and you as the writer of the contract, may at anytime check on site, anyone’s ID and proof of citizenship or the company must forfeit the right to finish the project. And, that the company MUST use E-Verify to make sure everyone is legit. If everyone would do this, more Americans would have a job in construction and other services..

          • Silver Bullets

            Ron (& RW),
What an awesome proactive solution you’ve proposed.

If we can’t get our elected officials to do what they were elected to do (represent we the people) then we should just ‘take a note’ from obama and go around them and do it ourselves…our own grassroots version of an executive order! I love it!!!

If enough of us made similar demands in those situations where we have real influence such as your examples, our government would have no choice but to take notice.

            Excellent!

        • smack dab

You should care who mows his f-ing grass!!That’s the problem that too many turn their head and allow these criminals in and let them run the show. You are an idiot.

          • David

Mike Savage complains about the illegal aliens all of the time yet hires them to do his brickwork. We will never get rid of them this way. Hire American.

        • Old Timer

The above attitudes are what got us McCain in 2008. Romney is a rino and anti gun. He signed a banon certain classes of guns and now refuses to state his position on the 2nd ammdndment. He has both feet firmly planted in mid air and espouses any position that will get him elected. He is on record as saying that no one should own guns.

I do care that he supported the type of one payer insurance progran and I don’t buy into his claim that it was good for MA but not for the US. If you believe that I have some ocean fron property in Arizona that I will let you have at a good price.

Don’t forget that only Herman cain, Ron Paul and Bachman were willing to state support for the 2nd amendment.

People suckered in and we got McCain who we had to hold our noses in 2008 to vote for. Not this time We need a solid conservative who has the courage to stand up for real conservative principles that we can go all out to support.

No more rinos. Remember its for four years and just look at what has been done to this nation in the last two.

Look at what this muslim who sold the voters who thought anyone but McCain a bill of goods called change. They were so enthralled they didn’t think about asking what change?

Rick Perry has an excellent record in Texas that to me is better than the kind of record that rino Romney has.

Think about what the rinos like Graham, McCain and the likes have gotten us in the Supreme Court and Homeland Security.

No I don’t believe we need a rino in the WH.

          • John M.

Hey Old Timer. You have nailed it. We need a guy like

government, and like he said , he’s for every conservative

Yes, and remember, R.I.N.O.’s like Dole and McCain get whooped! We need a true conservative. Cain is my choice even tho’ that commercial of his was TERRIBLE! I like Allan West but Cain has the grass roots support from true conservatives. I hope Gingrich fades. Newt

JohnM.: I agree that Perry is our only hope of defeating obama. He has the right credentials and leadership to get our economy back on track and if he becomes president, he will know how important it is to secure the border. He has been asking, no begging, for the federal government to help Texas and other border states to secure the border with drones and “boots on the ground.” He is the man we need, not these other light weight candidates.

        • billy

Keep praying Bruce, but your prayers will go unanswered. Paul has some good ideas but is too kooky to get elected. Stop spinning your wheels and go after Obama. He is the target, not fellow Republicans.

          • Mike

Yeah I thought he was “kooky” and weak on defense 4 years ago. Then…, I opened my mind and did the research and there is NOTHING “kooky” about the man, just like there wasn’t anything “kooky” (collectively) about the Founding Fathers and if people lie you would do a miniscule of Google and Youtube research, I’d be willing to bet that within a week you’d die for the man and realize that you may well die from the resulting anarchy this country is soon facing if…, Ron Paul doesn’t win in 2012.

          • Don39

Amen. But do not believe that all these candidate pushers are conservatives, the more adamant ones may be paid usurpers trying to influence the selection of the candidate most easily beaten by Obama! Some are in fact paid Obama supporters using black ops psyops!

        • lenny

          Ron Paul, I agree

        • Waldodhc

Ron Paul is NOT going to win either. Why? He has NOT governed! If Ron Paul wants to be President–get a job as a Governor first. Get a track record on Governing; then apply to be President!

        • scotwright

I have a question about the Ron Paul supporters. In 2007 my wife and I worked a booth at the NC State Fair for the Republican party. Several people worked with us and a Mitt Romney and a Ron Paul supporter stood outside our booth eliciting support for their candidates. A black female security guard came and told them that they could not solicit outside the booth. The Romney supporter went down to the Democrat booth and found that the Dems were openly allowed to be outside their booth and stated this was grossly unfair. The Ron Paul supporter threw his material and almost hit my wife. He then started crying. My question is this: “Are the Paulistas going to cry and throw things this time when they find out that the ugly little runt from Texas, if nominated couldn’t possibly win?”

      • Mike

Yep. Vote for principle, not just who you think is “electable.” For principle, it’s easy; Ron Paul in 2012.

Perry, Cain, Rubio, paul, no way they can do the job. It will take someone with the experience of Washington, who is left or righr or progressive, Bachman has that but I dont think America is ready for a MRS Pres yet. One I have to check out is Nute, If he is for 2nd amendment, border controle, and if he will dump obonercare, cut spending. stop the epa, stard drilling. this is top problems need fixed ASAE, elected. not possible that is the pretence we been on, we need action only, not prommisses, they never happen. We should be wise to that by now.

Green, are you a troll? You seem to be backing Newt but can’t spell his name. What gives here? Short nonsensical posts mean short, idiotic people are writing them. Mitt Romney was my choice in 2008 and we chose McCain to lose the election. Let us elect a real man this time and keep the also-rans like Cain, Perry, and Newt around as good advisors and friends. They are all intelligent and understand the World. Few people seem to realize that Romney (after dropping out of the 2008 election), helped McCain because he knew the trouble and mismanagement that would occur within an Obama presidency. McCain would have been better that Obama, as would all the other candidates running for the Republican nomination. However, Mitt is loyal, principled, and has the ability to fix America. Now it the time for Mitt and we must not lose our focus and lose our country to a dangerous, lame-duck presidency that a false step here might lead to. Support a winner, Romney!

AND there is the Christie endorsement! Why has everybody ignored that? THAT was hard the heels of wanting CHRISTIE to run–and he endorsed Romney! I believe that says a great deal…
Romney is a businessman–a Christian–wealthy from what he earned himself–and has a track record in Government and private enterprise. He CAN turn this country back to it’s rule of law roots…

          • ChuckH

Jorgaone. I need to correct one of your facts about Mitt Romney. You said he is a Christian. The first thing I’d ask you is are you a Christian? The second things I’d ask you are: Do you believe that the second coming of Christ will result in a new temple built in St. Louis and this will be the headquarters of Christ’s kingdom on earth? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Spirit brother of Lucifer and that God was once a man just like you and I that attained Godhood and you can too? See this is what Mitt Romney believes because he is part (and a very high up member) of the cult called Mormonism. Study up my friend, it is true. Not just for Mitt but for all Mormons.

          • rder

Wealthy from sucking the life out of companies and throwing away the employees – or don’t you know about Romney the “Corporate Raider”?

          • Jacy

Read the post! Romney is a flip flopper – he says what he knows you want to hear. If he flip flops now – what do you think he will do once as president? We have a flip flopper liar in the WH now – we need a good honest change. I believe Cain is an honest man, an excellent businessman, a conservative, God fearing and one who is not afraid to admit his mistakes or that he doesn’t know enough about a subject, i.e. foreign policy but that he can learn and he as a businessman learned how to always surround yourself with good capable people. I trust Herman Cain. I don’t think he will lie to us – I don’t trust Romney. I think it is good that Cain is not a politician – look what politicians have done to this country over the years – the liar in chief has just trippled the effect of economic doom.

          • Mfinity

            @Jorgaone
            Well said!

          • American Patriot

            @Jacy,
Cain is already part of the cult having been their KC branch honcho for a number of years he’s been programed.

          • Johnny Smith

I’m not sure who it was that wanted Christie to run, wasn’t me. His endorsement of Romney is no surprise at all, he’s very similar. Christie looks conservative from the outside because of where he is and what he has to deal with. He is also good for New Jersey, but needs to stay there.

          • http://www.daybydaycartoon.com/ Tucci78

The Christie-worshipers do all seem to come from points west of the Delaware River, don’t they?

In the Garden State – even among what passes for Republicans – there’s not so much enthusiasm over the present infestation of Drumthwacket.

Admittedly, he’s better than Corzine had been, but then that’s a helluva low standard to beat. So very, very many of us were dreadfully disappointed when the trauma unit at Cooper MC salvaged what could have been the most fortunate bit of roadkill in the history of the Garden State Parkway.

          • CJ

Mitt Romney’s father was George Romney- a governor and a socialist and also wealthy.

        • DA SMITH

I actually really like Romney and, with vigilance, I believe firmly that he will tow the conservative line. Perhaps Cain should be VP and Mitt could adopt Herman’s tax plan or a flat tax–I hope that Herman’s brushing up on his foreign policy, because that seems to be his main weakness so far.

          • Chuck

Romney is an honorable man. He has decades of business and government experience and a good overall reputation. He is a great leader and excels at repatriating companies that are in bad shape. This company, the USA, is in bad shape. He is a patriot and will do nothing to harm our country.

          • Portland Dan

wait….are you ok with the magic underpants??? Jesus didn’t wear magic underpants……..

        • Mike

Romney is and has always been Mass Media’s darling. You go ahead and let them pick your candidate for you, I won’t stand for it. If someone tries to force feed Romney on me, I’ll rally the troops to vote for the other side in protest because there is NO difference between the status quo from side and the status quo from the other side. Big Money is fronting BOTH of their campaigns. Open your eyes and vote for a candidate that is unlike all candidates of the last quarter century. There is ONE after all…

          • scotwright

Mike why don’t you find a hole and crawl in? Your Anti Christian (or brainless Protestant) attitude might be contagious and cause people to think you were ever anything but an Obumminist supporter. I would even hold my nose and vote for Ron Paul over Obama. Obama must be a ONE TERM PRESIDENT and I, as a Vietnam Veteran will again fight for my country. This time I will use my friends and neighbors votes to flush Obama down the Carter Commode of History. After all the talk and primaries are over we MUST unite and take back America from the Communist Thugs that are running it now. We can’t do if we fight each other. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE RE-ELECT THE OBAMA!

          Your on !

        • john in Texas

All Bull Crap , Romney just like Perry a professional Career politician, both agree with everything and do nothing .Romney , a poor little rich kid who rode into town on his Dads unlimited budget. The best schools , easy access to top level jobs & a desire to be king ,has spent literally millions on trying get elected . Like Perry has plenty talking points & has actually little feeling , no burning desire to save the Nation just a desire to be top talker . In a debate with Mr. Zero both these two would be eaten alive , both are really polite Democrats in disguise neither one capable of enacting any unpopular legislation . Whats more neither have the savvy to run anything bigger than a shoe store . Both speak of senseless strategies, neither has a focus on confronting and challenging the fraud who occupies the seat they want.

          • Insurgent

Agreed ——————-we do not need anymore professional lying politicians. The a-holes are the ones that have run this country into a financial crisis. We need new blood.

Currently, Washington, DC is America’s cesspool for liars, whores, and thieves.

          • American Patriot

            @Insurgent,
That’s a proven fact but I believe a lemon aid stand would be more realistic!

I pray that Romney is NOT the nominee for the GOP.

          • scotwright

But who are you praying to?

        • Johnny Smith

That is exactly the problem. Looks like your all for letting the media and big republicans decide who OUR nominee will be. Think for yourself, if you like Romney, good for you but don’t let the big boys make your choice just because they say he’s the one.

      • Don39

    • Donald

      You got that right

    • Mike

      Nobody but Ron Paul.

    • Jack Carroll

I will vote for anyone the Republicans nominate with the exception of Romney. I will do a write-in before I vote for him. I have voted Republican all my life but I just cannot do the Romney thing.

      • A Patriot

Then you will be voting for Obama no matter who you write in.

        • Mike

Wrong. A vote for anyone but Ron Paul is a vote for the status quo which happens to equal Oh Bugger.

        • willieyumm

I’m 70 & never voted a straight ticket in my life, but our back is against the wall on this Presidential vote WE MUST STICK TO GEATHER ON THE NOMINEE . I’LL VOTE FOR MICKEY MOUSE on the Repub. ticket, if thats who is the Repub. candidate. I also see the resemblemce of Obummer in Romney,
But I’m NOT GONNA take a chance on Obummer gettin in by not voting for the REPUB. Candidate –even if it is ROMNEY !!!

          • Portland Dan

Then by gosh, we gotta votes for Bachmann and her VP, Sarah Palin! Only two fresh womens can trooly beat obummer!!

          • American Patriot

            @Portland Dan,
Palin said she kept a CULT flag on her desk and supported it. I wouldn’t vote for her for dog catcher. I have more respect for dogs then that.

        • Don39

Any traitor that does not vote may as well vote for Obama. In fact the goal of someone that says they will not cast vote for Obama’s opponent whoever it is is one of two things, an idealog that is worthless to the nation or a traitor from Obama’s camp! Which are you Jack? Yeah, I hope this pisses you off either because I exposed you or because it may make you think!

          • Johnnygard

You are right Don. If a million Republicans that don’t like the candidate for one reason or another stay home and don’t vote, that doesn’t go down in history as a million protests. It just looks like a million Republicans didn’t bother to vote. If that same million votes for a third party conservative, it’s only slightly better. But if the million will hold their nose and vote for the “R”, even if he/she turns out to be a Rino, and the Republican wins by a huge landslide, it sends a message to ALL the congress people that the country wants to get away from liberal policies. They all want to be reelected, so they may be more careful about what they do to us.

          • American Patriot

If it smells like greed, corruption, rot, lies and deception, it would be kosher!

      • Mike

Right on Jack. Let’s start a write in rally here and call it: “Write in over Romney!”

      • ChuckH

I am with you Jack. You probably can’t do the Romney thing for one of the same reasons I cannot…. he just seems like more of the same. I absolutely do not trust Rick Perry either. Isn’t it funny how the liberal-controlled media (who I also do not trust) keeps trying to tell us our choice is between Romney and Perry, the exact two people who just seem like more of the same and less positive change. Herman Cain is my man. Have you read his book? I have. This is the guy; and all he keeps getting run down for is not having been a politician. Well, look where”politicians” have gotten us. And the media and his opponents have done a great job of trying to make it look like the 9-9-9 plan is ill conceived or the 9-0-9 piece is something he just came up with – all proving that no one has looked into his plan in any detail before mouthing off about why it won’t work. Several prestigious tax expert associations say that HC’s 9-9-9 plan with all of it details understood, is exactly what will right the economy. The only difference I have with your view Jack is if (God forbid it) Romney or Perry get elected, I’ll have to vote for them because, I absolutely will do everything within my legal power to ensure that Obama does not get re-elected….

      • David

I, too, will never vote for Romney…. Wasn’t he involved in the Salt Lake City Olympics scandal? With Romney, the ends justify the means – that’s because he is not a Christian…Can’t you guys see that the media is trying to push the weakest candidate on the Republicans so that Obama will have an easier time winning next November? They know that the true Christians can not and will not vote for a Mormon and a RINO who is all over the map with traditional marriage and values. After all Romney is the governor who gave us same sex marriage.

        • Mary S

I totally agree!!!!! However, if Romney does get the nomination I will vote for him against 0. It will be hard just like it was to vote for McCain.

          • Old Timer

Absolutely Mary. Don’t forget how the demos crossed over to vote for McCain because they knew that McCain would be vulnerable because he was known to be a rino.

I fear thatthey will do the same for Romney because they know that he is not our best candidate and people will stay home just like they did on McCain. We have a better chance of generating a lot of excitement with Cain and either Paul, Bachman, or even Gingrich who has a tendency to step on his tongue at times than with
Romney. I just pray that we the people wake up and realize the dangers posed by the unions, and Obama’s SS troops who will be patrolling the Poles.
We must have a top drawer candidate without any of the politician’s taint of elitism

          • American Patriot

            @Mary S,
I didn’t vote for McPain because of the BAGgage, Palin.

          • Johnnygard

Am Pat, So are you proud of your vote? Did you actually think McCain was BETTER than Palin?

        • Don39

You ignorant fool , he is the one that stepped in and saved us from that scandle. You people sure like to spout lies and half truthes and show your ignorance .

          • American Patriot

            @jonnygard,
            jonny,
Naw, I had a video of Lieberman trying to put one of those dumb jew skull cover thingys on McPains bald head so he could kiss some damn rock for a photo op at some stupid jew wall place in Israhell. The wind was blowing and Lieberman was having a helluva time. It appeared like he finally stuck it on with a gob of brown crap of some kind.
Funniest thing I ever saw. That beanie really complemented McPains fat chops.

      • billy

Jack, it is folks like you that allow folks like Obama to remain in office. If it is not your choice you pout and abandon all common sense. If the nominee is Mitt Romney or a catchers mit we must support him. The alternative is to allow the speechmaker another four years to complete his CHANGE and his march to Socialism.

      • Robert from Texas

Please do not help re-elect ovomit. just stay home.

        • Spooky

“Stay Home” are you MAD. Please use your head. Staying home is a vote FOR obama. You MUST vote for a republican candidate in order to BEAT OBAMA.

        • scotwright

That is just what the big government socialists hope we will do. Why don’t you do what we did in 2010? We had ballots made up with all the Conservative Candidates and handed them out at the polls. I have been watching the Polls for 20 years and am always amazed at the people who show up to vote and haven’t made up their minds about who to vote for yet. The American people have been dumbed down enough to elect a socialist, bigoted, bird brain fool in 2008, so we really need to pull together and elect ANYONE BESIDES OBAMA! Blogging is OK but getting out to talk to the people is better. God bless the people who work to make this country a better place.

      • scotwright

You say that you voted Republican all your life, but could not support the ONE candidate who have reasoned, sensible answers for our domestic AND foreign problems. Is this because of your bigotry against another religion that doesn’t sound exactly like yours? If Mitt is elected and becomes an even BETTER President that Ronald Reagan, will you open your eyes then? Mitt has excelled in his church leadership roles, at the Olympics, as the governer of a large state, and all of his business dealings. Can anyone else running say these things? I will admit that I am a Latter-Day Saint and am a little more open to a Romney presidency than someone who knows little about the church. However, if another candidate had better qualities that Mr. Romney, I would SUPPORT HIM INSTEAD because I love my country and don’t want to lose what I and my fellow Veterans have fought and died for!

    • EddieW

Tom…NO WAY!!! Romney or Perry are both globalists, bith are part of the CFR…Obama’s EVERY cabinet member was CFR…This is what CFR wants, and CFR members MUST obey!! The last one that would not was Pres. Kennedy! Might as well keep Obama if one of these two are elected, because we will get only more of the same…We need Constitutionalists, as it is being totally destroyed, so sharia law can be implemented!!

      • Mike

Hey, I know of ONE real Constitutionalist who actually believes in following the Constitution, having personal libery and limited government…, and ONE who is real knowledgeable of the Constitution but doesn’t believe we should always “strictly adhere” to it. Other than those two gents (Paul/Gingrich respectively), the rest will say anything just to get elected and that should be obvious to the most casual observer.

      • American Patriot

        @EddieW,
Perry is owned by the same CULT Odumba is and would be just as anti-American as Odumba.

Ron Paul, Haw-Haw! He is ugly, stupid, and knows nothing about how to deal with a hostile world. He would bring our troops home and hope that the Despots and Dictators of the world don’t try to enslave the free people of the world once again. In a dangerous world only an idiot could support a little troll like Paul.

    • kage

Not “anybody”. I wouldn’t vote for Karl Marx or Saul Alinsky but, I must admit it would be a difficult choice. Hey let’s start to go after Obama. Nothing crazy because it turns off the stupids. Ask young people, 17- 25, who they think will pay off our debt. Wait a minute, smile, and point right at them while saying “you will” ! If they hear this enough times young people just might actually think about their futures.

      • Mike

Parents have been trying to teach their teenagers lessons they learned from the past since the dawn of man… Hasn’t worked yet. Not that we shouldn’t stop trying though…

George Santayana famously said that those who refuse to learn the lessons of History are doomed to repeat them. Every President since Ronald Reagan (best ever, but still Gov’t exploded under his watch) has been worse than the one before him. That’s thirty-one years so teenagers have no clue what happened during that time and you can’t really get it across to them, to NOT repeart the mistakes of those years. And…, the politicians KNOW IT. C’mon Sheeple…baah, baah, baah… IF we’re going to stop the cycle we MUST VOTE RON PAUL in 2012!

    • tod

We need a truely honest man for President and that man is Dr.Ron Paul 2012 !!!For a Proven Honest man for well over 30 years,Not Rommneycare instead of Barrycare. Two Wrongs don’t make it Right!

      • Mike

Folks disagree with me but I think a four-year Bachman understudy of Ron Paul could yield the first female POTUS in 2016. The lady is NOT stupid as most of her critics believe. She’s always informed of the issues, at least, in the debates I’ve seen her in although, she stumbled a bit last week in Iowa… Paul/Bachman in 2012? Whatever, as long as the first name is PAUL!!!

    • JJM

We cannot afford another ‘lesser of 2 evils’. Support the consistent defender of Freedom and Liberty and consistent Constitutionalist – R Paul. The Media continues to downplay his message by ignoring him. I believe that RP is the least likely to be bought or threatened off of his beliefs. Hoping that Bachman is 2nd least likely. Have not developed my thoughts on Cain.
RP is the only one to put forward a plan to cut $1 trillion expenses – in his 1st year. Admit it, cutting $1 trillion in the next 10 years is a joke……….
RP wants to bring home all our foreign deployed troops. I support bringing home 50% and shutting down 50% foreign bases. Deploy them along our southern border!!!
As the Media ignores RP, it is up to each and every one of us to spread his common sense Constitutional beliefs. If the Media pushes – I will refuse.

      • Don39

And you are going to be Paul’s Foreighn Minister, or secretary of defence?

        • Don39

And this one an anti-semitic bigot, not an American patriot, he can not even get in a true patriot organization without lying.

    • Glofish

I would be careful in what you’re saying. Right now is not the time to make a decision who should be a candidate or not. It is time that all of us listen and question each and every so-call candidate and truly make our decision that is rational, intelligent, unbias and someone that we will truly can support. We still have time. I can’t really say that I like or dislike any or all of them.

      • American Patriot

        @Glofish,
You sound like you’re waiting for Hellary…..

    • 2WarAbnVet

For nearly eighty years we’ve seen creeping socialism erode the liberties we inherited from our forbearers, with brief lulls (Eisenhower) and rebounds (Reagan). This occurred because “establishment” Republicans and Democrats were more akin to allies that adversaries. Romney represents the “go-along-get-along” Republicans who’ve put personal power ahead of principles for decades. He isn’t the one we require to undo the damage the current administration has inflicted on our country.

    • KS49

“ANYBODY BUT OBAMA”…That has to be the focus if the GOP wants to overtake BHO, and they must do this or this country will certainly be lost long before 2016. The GOP needs to stop bikering and pick one candidate, the best possible conservative candidate that can defeat BHO. Obama can be taken down, but this has to be done right. We need a candidate we can get behind and a solid VP candidate to. They had better settle on this soon enough, because dissention in the ranks right now isn’t helping anyone’s cause, let alone this country. On 11/6/2012, we all need to get to the polls and make sure we do all we can to get rid of BHO, this has to happen, bottom line!!!

    • Ralph Congregane

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the
best quotes about the debt ceiling:

“I could end the deficit in 5 minutes,” he told CNBC. “You just
pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more
than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible
      for re-election.”

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only
3 months and 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it.
That was in 1971…before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year
or less to become the law of the land…all because of public pressure.

Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to
a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask
each of those to do likewise.
This is one idea that really should be passed around.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will
      have the message:

      Congressional Reform Act of 2011

      1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no
      pay when they leave office.

      2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the
Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into
the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the
American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

      3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

      4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

      5. Congress loses their current health care system and
participates in the same health care system as the American people.

      6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

      7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.

Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is

an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators,

so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people, then it will
only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive
      the message. Maybe it’s time.

If you agree with the above, pass it on. If not, just delete.
You are one of my 20+…. Please keep it going.

    • Jane

It seems some of you DON’T FOLLOW the NEWS. Rubio said he will NOT be a Vice President if asked. Also, Rubio was born in Maimi, Fl and his Parents are LEGAL not illegal. You are hearing RUMORS People! NO TRUE RUMORS!
The ONLT TRUE TWO “Constitutional Conservatives” running is Michele Backmann and Rick Sotorium. Newt “use to be” a FLIP Flop in the PAST, although his looking GOOD right now, but can you TRUST him for he is PART of the Washington Machine?

    • Daniel

      Right on the Money!!!!

    • American Patriot

Cains Plan, do the math. I did. Then tell us how wonderful he is.

      http://alturl.com/2djwy

    • Angelicsweep

Don’t say ANYBODY because you don’t know how bad it could be with someone like romney! Just anyone will NOT do! We need someone who can pull us out of this deep dark pit obummer had dug to bury us in! I believe that Herman Cain can be that person. I am not worried one bit about foreign policy and Herman Cain. He can HANDLE it! Anyone who has dealt with as many diverse people as he has, KNOWS how to deal with people. Herman Cain CAN pull us out of this hole obummer has dug us in. We do NOT need anymore butt kissing politicians giving lip service about what they are going to do! Herman Cain is a DOER…he CAN and WILL get it done!

    • Lonnie P.

Are you kidding!? Romney IS Obama!

  • Barb

Been trying to tell ya’ll that he’s a RINO. NO ON ROMNEY, PERRY, NEWT, HUNTSMAN. All RINO’S.

    • Cynthia

      YES on RON PAUL!

      • peggy

yes, cynthia, yes on Ron Paul.

        • Mike

Yes Peggy. Yes on cynthia, yes on Ron Paul.

        • 57 girl

I second that. My vote will be going to Ron Paul too.

        • American Patriot

          @peggy,
          I will too!!

      • Mike

As “Flip-flop Cain would say… “Say Amen ya’ll!”

    • peggy

      i agree, barb.

    • MissouriAnn

YES to CAIN! Cain is ABLE in 2012………………..the only real candidate who has a chance against zero-man~~

      • Mike

NEIN NEIN NEIN! No we Caint!

      • MAKE MY DAY

I have $10 that says you are way off base!!!

      • Pat Downing

I think Cain is coming on strong and he actually makes sense. I think the perferct ticket would be Cain/Gingrich. Cain has common sense and business savvy and Newt is brilliant in government and history. I wouldn’t want to see that reversed where it was Gingrich/Cain, but it has great possibilities the other way around.

        • Mike

I think Cain is the ONLY candidate who…, knows how to make a pizza! Not much substance other than that I’m afraid… “Say Amen ya’ll!”

        • rder

VP is a nothing and never has been – Gingrich wouldn’t waste his time. Gingrich should be President – someone that knows how Washington works and has the leadership skills to work with the Congress. You may not like how Washington and the government works – but short of overthrowing the government – it isn’t going to change no matter who is elected president.

And the President can do very little without the consent of congress – That is why the current sitting congress needs to be replaced – they are complacent and allow Obama to do just what he wants, handed to him on a silver platter of doing nothing.

        • Bill Roderick

          RIGHT ON!!!!!

        • Jacy

I agree – the perfect choice. Cain for his business experience-and Newt for the way around the political stratosphere. Cain is honest – Newt as president has too much baggage – saying that Newt could clean Obama’s clock in a debate. Perry may be a good Gov but he wouldn’t make it through a debate and ultimately that, as we have experienced,, can make or break….

      • Chuck

Obama would eat Herman Cain alive. He can’t even explain his own tax plan and is totally at sea on foreign affairs. He is entertaining, maybe he should get his own show on MSNBC.

        • Mike

Yeah, Hermie can’t explain his own tax plan ’cause it ain’t his. He hired a professional economist to write it and he didn’t even have the sense to see that it would hit the poor and middle class “below the belt” while feedin’ “strawberries and cream” to the rich! When several bi-partisan economists pointed this out to Mr. Cain, he ‘revised’ “his 9-9-9 plan” to “9-0-9.” “Say Amen ya’ll.” “This is how we take care of the po’.” Yessirrrrrreeeee! “Flip-flop Cain” say he ain’t no politician but he sure can flip-flop and lie wid the best of ‘em. He good at ebonics too!

        • Jacy

I don’t agree – I think Herman Cain could hold his own over the teleprompter. Obama can’t really talk on his own. He doesn’t have the history of this country. Romney is a rehearsed (over six years) debator and not that good – he stutters. Newt is the best one and could sweep Obummer off the stage.

    • noelle

      Santourm also He’s a RINO

      • BUD

BETTER YET, SANTOURM IS A JERK. WE DIDN’T WANT HIM IN PENNSYLVANIA, AND WE ALL CERTAINLY DON’T WANT HIM IN WASHINGTON. HE WOULD DO BETTER WASHING AMISH BUGGIES.

      • Mike

Actually, Rick is VERY Republican with a couple side-orders of Bible Study thrown in. He don’t get that you can’t be Prez from Church. If he wasn’t as religious and didn’t feel he had Divine Dispensation to invade every Sovereign Nation and kill everyone on Earth that is not a Christian, he might actually make a good President. It’s time for Rick to take a powder… “Say Amen ya’ll.”

    • Donald

you must be on welfare if you want to put obama back in the office.WHY DONT YOU GO GET A JOB. Oh that right Obama hasnt created any.

    • MAKE MY DAY

Then who ya gonna vote for??…. BHO??? Think about it!! ANYBODY but BHO!!!

      • Neil Walden

Romney and Perry are the establisment. I would much rather see Gingrich win, he’s got the smarts and guts. I really like Ron Paul but he has his weak points. Obuma is nothing more than a b.s. liar. Did he know about Donald Young getting knocked off. or did he O.K. it. Web site Fellowship of the Minds has a lot of interesting material. I do like Cain.

    • Mike

A lot of folks just don’t get it. Every GOP candidate EXCEPT for Ron Paul WANTS to be POTUS. Ron Paul said that he doesn’t particularly WANT to be POTUS, but that he feels that he is someone that can actually restore America to it’s Constitutional principles while all the other candidate are simply the status quo; more of the same. Any vote for anyone other than Ron Paul is a vote for Oh Bugger.

    • http://www.cystine.com Jimbo

That’s right, they are RINO’s. Newt- just read up about him … he was for NAFTA
and was right there when we lost our manufacturing power and jobs to China and
the rest of the world. He is NWO zombie. Ron Paul – sorry, he can’t win. I’d vote for RP
over Obumbler but we need to win! Cain! Herman Cain resonates with plain folk. Plain
speaking, “let’s get it done” / pragmatic and energetic with maturity. Cain is the one
but not with NWO Newt! Perry can’t win and doesn’t have the Conservative guts of
Cain. Romney is like his father – a RINO. Romney is a Mormon which is a blurred
and liberal facsimile of a Christian. Abortion is a litmus test and Romney flip flopped
on abortion. His Health care in Mass is more big government failure. Would I vote for
him over Obumbler? Yes, I would have to hold my nose even more than with McCain.
By the way, in case you haven’t heard this before, the difference in pseudo Christian
religions like Mormonism, JW, Roman catholicism, and true Biblical Evangelical
Christianity is [ JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH ALONE ]. Other beliefs are works
oriented religions made up by man. God “drags” Greek word “helko” believers into
the Kingdom – not by their will. The rest are hardened and go to Hell. John 3:18 “Those
who do not believe are condemned already…” John 6:44 “No man can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me DRAWS (“helko”) him, and I will raise him up on the last day.” Also see Ephesians 2:8-10 and Romans 9.

  • http://photovideo2000.com Del Lawson

Forget Romeny. Get behind Cain. He is the only one who has a chance against Obama.

    • Cynthia

Did you see that “smoking” ad today?
      Cain definitely, CAIN’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Neil Walden

You make a big deal about that ad when OBUMA said he would have the most transparent Presidence that had ever been and it took three years for him to get a phony bith certifcate made. Plus he has never been to the state he has a SSA # from. He got a grant from our goverment to go to college under the name of Barry Soetoro and claimed he was a foreign student. Why dosen’t anyone put this man in jail. GO JOE

        • RONALD MAITREJEAN

YOU SAID IT ! HE WON’T EVEN LET US SEE WHAT HE DID AT COLLEGE ! EVERY THING HE DOSE IS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS ! TRANSPARENT ?????

    • http://none CRITICON

ONE THING IS FOR SURE, AND IT IS THAT THE PUPPETS OF THE EMPEROR’S COURT COULD NOT ALLEDGE “RACISM” IF THE FINAL MATCH IS BETWEEN CAIN AND UNABLE. OH, THEY WILL TRY IT ANYWAY, BUT TO NO EFFECT!
LET ME TAKE SOMETHING BACK: HE IS NOT AN EMPEROR BUT A DICTATOR IN THE MAKING. HE IS ENVIOUS OF HIS FRIEND AND POLITICAL GODFATHER HUGO CHAVEZ. MR. UNABLE WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT TYRANT IN KENYA. LET’S CONFINE HIM INTO HIS 1967 BORDERS.

      • Wlmitch1

Within his 1967 borders? That would be Indonesia – with his mother Stanley Ann Dunham and adoptive father Pak Lolo Soetoro.

    • MAKE MY DAY

Do ya wanna bet-the-house on that one?? Mitt Romney will be the GOP Nominee at the end of the day – and EVERYONE had better get behind him – unless you want 4 more yrs of “Barry Boy” and the USA in the “toilet” – ready to flush!!!

      • Mike

Romney = Obama. Flip sides of same status quo coin. Big Money pays ‘em both so it really doesn’t matter between the two. Big Money holds two winning tickets on a two-horse race and NOTHING changes. Find A candidate who can’t be bought. There IS one out there who can Restore America. His name is Ron Paul.

      • Robert from Texas

        Unfortunately I do believe u r correct!!!!

      • Robert from Texas

        Amen Brother!!!

      You mean “weathervane” Obama?

    • Mike

Anyone know how to make the “inifinity” sign on a keyboard???

  • David

You have to wonder if his “evolution” is real and will last once he gets in office. ? BUT when it comes time to vote I will vote for any of the candidates, vs Obama. Anybody but Obama.

  • Dan

    “Anybody but Obama”?!?!?!
Bush set up a lot of the crap Obama is continuing or doing. Bush opened the door for OB!! So did Clinton and H.W. Bush!
More like anybody but the elitist bastards they are parading in front of us!

    • Linda W.

Well, every president we have had a hand in all of this to a degree. But, Obama had all the answers and look where we are now! We can’t take four more years of this idiot!!! Anyone, and I mean anyone over Obama!!!

    • American Patriot

      @Dan,
Bush was owned by the same CULT that controls Odumba and so was Slick Willy.

      • David

Bill Clinton owns the Federal Reserve, Bank of England and most central bank. He is the one financing Soros and the secret societies.

        • Robert from Texas

          Please show proof of this.

        • http://www.cystine.com Jimbo

David, Bill Clinton is just an intelligent NWO Zombie unlike Obummer who is a stupid NWO Zombie. Now, Soros is a NWO Jr. partner. The Clintons joined for the same reason the Media jerks
join the CFR. Don’t say something that is obviously foolish because
there is a conspiracy and it is well known among those who read
history. I believe it is a house of cards and can be beaten.

    • MAKE MY DAY

    • Mike

Every President in our adult lifetime has been worse than the previous one, and Oh Bugger certainly takes 1st prize. Shouldn’t we put a principled candidate in office if nothing else, he’s sooooo different from the past 4 candidates, he couldn’t possibly do any worse than they did. But think of all the GOOD he could do…

      Ron Paul 2012

    • Hobe

Bush won’t be running……Anyone but Obama. Obama will be worst President in the history of America.

    • Mike

Be careful of the men in black lookin’ at yo stuff thru the Patriot Act. Use words like Oh Bugger and cane, but Cain Cain’t get it done, because he’s a two-faced liar and the evidence is ALL over the internet for the most casual observer to see.

  • Henry

The smartest, most capable one of the whole bunch. — NEWT

    • Sanderson

      NEWT. Paul. Cain.

The others are bitter disappointments and NOT presidential leaders.

      • 57 girl

I agree with Paul and I might go for Newt if I absolutely had to, but Herman Cain? I can’t condone a candidate that is not willing to audit and expose the Federal Reserve. If it were not for the Fed and their counterfeit printing presses, America would not be in the financial hole we are in today. Cain wants to play musical chairs with the tax code, rather than fix our debt problem and alleviate the need for an ‘income’ tax. Again, Dr. Paul sees the benefit in allowing people to keep their money and spend it on their own needs rather than throwing it in the Government cookie jar to disperse to everybody else. We were built on personal freedoms and until we restore our foundation, America will continue to decline. Ron Paul is, and always has been, my first choice. Keep in mind, he has consistently maintained his views for 30 years. Also keep in mind, that Ron Paul will vote in strict accordance to the guidelines of our Constitution. Ron Paul is America’s greatest hope.

        • Robert from Texas

But he is a Libertarian & won’t win!!!

      • Neil Walden

I’m with you on that one.

    • MissouriAnn

No more Newt~~he’s a “has-been”…………personally, anyone who can’t decide who he wants to be married to (since he’s been hitched THREE times!) has a problem convincing me he’s going to stick with ANYTHING!

    • MAKE MY DAY

Maybe smart – but has too much political and personal baggage!!! He may be Romney’s VP!! But I prefer Marco Rubio who will get the “Hispanic” vote Nationwide + seal Florida for the GOP!!

      • Allen

Romney – Rubio = Hispanic vote plus Florida. Yes, you’re right!

        • David

Rubio is not a natural born citizen. Quit wasting your time talking about him.

          • Robert from Texas

Yes he is; he was born in Miami. Heard it on Fox today.

      • rder

I don’t think Rubio would accept VP under Romney or Cain, perhaps under Newt or Paul. Perry is going to be stranded on his own petard.

      • chewinmule

Baggage? Are you kidding me? In my honest opinion Ron Paul’s so called “extremism” shows just how far we have moved from the “original intent” of our Founders. My second point is Clinton and spouse had/have a freight train full of baggage and we don’t have enough time to discuss the present occupant’s “load” across the spectrum. It appears as though we are looking for the perfect candidate on the one hand and also advocating a “fight fire with fire” type of candidate. This conundrum will produce a candidate such as the slick Mr. Romney who has yet to answer the question; “Why was Kwame Kilpatrick’s unindicted bagman, Derrick Miller, on the dais during the celebration of his Michigan victory over McCain?” Remember, you still have to be very careful because the “fire” you use to fight the “fire” can “burn you”!

    • wall st joe

      AGREE!

    • Mike

      Newt is brilliant. Paul/Gingrich 2012.

    • usmadgirl

      Henry,

I never wanted Newt until I watched him in all the debates. We ALL have “baggage”! What people tend to forget is there is only ONE who has walked the face of the Earth without making mistakes. If they want a “perfect” candidate, well, good luck with that!

Newt IS the smartest candidate. He doesn’t “bash” the other candidates & has even said that ANY of the GOP candidates would be better than O’Dumbo. He has spoken out against the media & their attempt to get the candidates at each others’ throats. He is focused on defeating O’Dumbo & his Socialist, unconstitutional agenda, NOT bad-mouthing other candidates. He has really impressed me. HE is the ONLY one who has had the nerve to publically call O’Dumbo a Socialist without hesitation. The others have danced around the question like contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” (no I don’t watch it!)!

I also love Herman Cain. I’m torn between Cain & Newt. I’d like to see a Newt/Cain ticket & think they’re the only candidates who can defeat O’Dumbo (providing he doesn’t eliminate the election by dictatorship)! With Cain & Newt, I wouldn’t be settling for the lesser of two weasels like I did with McCain. I actually WANT these guys as our leaders!

      • DA SMITH

Very good point about Newt not attacking the other candidates or falling for the moderators attempts to set the candidates at each other’s throats.

        • Diane

I’ve felt Newt would be best since the last Election. He had a good record and accomplished a lot of good as Speaker of the House, they only demonized him because they feared the power he had and envyed his accomplishments… As for the personal issues? You have never walked in his shoes, nobody is perfect or makes all the right choices, he without sin cast the first stone. He is the smartest, he know the ins & outs of the DC machine and can invoke bipartisan cooperation between the parties for the good of the American People. He also understands economics & foreign policy… can you see anyone else winning at the level he is capable up to the podium in a debate against Obama? He would never get flustered and he will always have a logical answer… he would truely win hands down.
I like Cain & give him credit but really don’t think he’s up to the task of heading our Country.
Romney is part of the Republican Establishment… think of all those stuff shirts that live by politics as usual, don’t trust the man strikes me as someone giving lip service to get where he wants to be.
Love Michelle but don’t think this is best use of her time.
Perry was off to a rough start, however he has a solid unwaivering record, believes in our freedoms & opportunity, knows how to get Government out of our business, so what he isn’t practiced in the art of debate like forever candidate Romney, still like his honest style… Brother will be mailing me lightbulbs soon from Texas thanks to Perry :o )
Think hard people… so you want the Government to continue taking away your rights & telling what you can & cannot do? Give me a break light bulb to hamburgers!

      • David

Newt is the best debater but has the morals of an alley cat. He is on the wrong side of the global warming issue and some other issues. His personality sucks. I probably would vote for him but I would hold my nose at the same time.

        • Diane

Morals David? Really…. so he married 3 times at least he made honest woman of them? How many woman were you with before you married(if you are). Do not judge on that level lest you be judged. I for one refuse to judge him on that issue. My own Mother was married 4 times… I on the other hand only once. I wish you & everyone would leave that aside and weigh the really important issues. If the man was getting it in the Oval Office like some we know I might take issue with that but give it a rest. We need someone that can get our Country on track & fast!

        • ed

global warming???…doesn’t exist..made up by libtards

    • Robert from Texas

Yes he is without a doubt; he just ain’t purty!!!

  • http://www.ronpaul.meetup.com/1681/ Wayne Herrod

You get what you deserve unless you vote for real change- a small government sound money America first conservative…. and it ain’t Cain. His Initials are RP

    • MissouriAnn

………add to that small government ‘extremely liberal’ drug laws……blaming US for 9/11……with ‘no support’ for Israel………hummmmmmmmmmm…..no thanks!

      • Robert Young

MissouriAnn, every candidate is going to have some programs you don’t like. There is no “perfect” candidate. Ron Paul stated that he will cut deficit spending by One Trillion Dollars his first year in office, abolish 5 government agencies, audit the Federal Reserve, give us a balanced budget in his third year, and eliminate Foreign Aid, funding for the U.N., secure our borders, and give us a Constitutional Conservative Government, among other things. He cannot do these things by himself. We, the People first have to Elect Ron Paul President then provide him with a House and Senate that is controlled by Constitutional Conservatives. If we do this, it is a Win, Win, Win for American Voters.

        • rder

While there ARE several things that Ron Paul CAN do, there is nothing he can do about the budget – that is Congress pervue, I don’t think the President can audit the Fed – I think that’s takes congressional action.

        • Johnny Smith

You have made the perfect argument against Ron Paul. The true statement that he can’t do it alone and will need a House and Senate full of constitutional conservatives, like him, says he won’t accomplish anything. Where are you going to find that many for congress that would support him? The congress would block his every move and would accomplish nothing.

      • Robert from Texas

        LOL!!!!! So true!!!!!

  • Tim S.

Now where is that website on Obama’s flip-flops? I heard they had to take it down because the file was overloading the servers. (Joke-but maybe not)

Is this the best that Obambi, and Romney’s opponents can do? I’m no fan of Romney. I;m pulling for Cain, but this is a Presidential campaign, for Pete’s sake. Does anyone not believe Obama didn’t just flip flop in his speeches, he’s flip flopped all over the place since elected.

  • Gamme

Cain is 1-Not a Career Politician. 2-First to come out with a plan to ease the tax burden on both employers & employees–999. 3-The Dems & Liberal Media couldn’t throw out the Race Card. 4-If he chooses either Marco Rubeo or Santorum as VP I think we have a definate winner.
I know the Dem’s would say he doesn’t have any experience in International matters but his come-back should be “neither did Obama but at least I can a business whereas Obama couldn’t even run a McDonald’s”.
It is time for a NON Politician.

    • Sanderson

GAMME, Cain cannot choose Rubio. Check qualifications for president and vice president. He does not qualify, and I hope and pray he has the decency, honesty and HONOR to respect our Constitution.

All of us cannot stand the fact that BHO is not legally qualified to be our president, and it drives us nuts that We, The People did not stand up and deny him. Don’t push for Rubio, because doing wrong because BO did wrong is not right.

      • Johnnygard

Sanderson, You are the one that needs to do some checking. Do you think he wasn’t born in the U.S.A., or are you one of those that thinks both parents have to be born here? Rubio was born in Miami and eligible to be President.

    • noelle

I do NOT trust the 999 plan, I believe this is the new world order’s plan to track how we spend our money in the new CASH LESS SYSTEM!
THE CORRUPT CRIMINAL GOVT IS GETTING WAY TOO OUT OF CONTROL!
WE NEED PAUL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      NO TO CAIN’S 999 PLAN!!!!!!!
WE DO NOT NEED AN INCOME TAX, THE FED OR THE IRS ANY LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Cabby – AZ

Sorry to say, but if Ron Paul were to win the presidency, most of you who support him now would be criticizing him in a few months. This man has been in the House of Representatives for about thirty years. Will you tell me of one accomplishment in which he has been able to lead his peers?

Paul has a big heart and talks big, but that’s what it would translate to – nothing of real substance. He has NO track record of effective legislative leadership. Therefore, most of you who would vote him in now would be horribly disappointed, and it wouldn’t take long for the criticisms to begin.

Let me ask this – How long have you known or had information about Ron Paul and his beliefs? If it is anything less than fifteen years, you don’t know the whole story.

        • Mike

Cabby, until very recently, we, us, the people, got our “truth” from Mass Media, e.g. (Radio, TV. Newspaper) or… our Gov’t. The Internet went “live” in 1980, but it was mostly for DARPA (Defense Appropriations Research Project Agency). It wasn’t until the late 1990′s that the Internet held practical uses for ordinary users like you and I. In addition, Google was created by two Graduate students in 1998 but the search engine really didn’t go “public” until around 2002. So even though we’ve able to type in whatever we want and have it “pop up” on our comptuer screens for 9 years, that’s not a lot of time. Ron Paul has been warning us of Gov’t abuse and overreach of our Constitution of over 30 years and now that we have the Internet we can finally find out the real truth, because Mass Media and the Gov’t can NOT block out Ron Paul’s message any longer. So if you REALLY want to know how we know about Ron Paul’s beliefs past 15 years it’s very, very simple…. Google or Youtube RON PAUL and you will see video of his Congressional testimony from the mid1980′s.

I met Ron Paul at a convention about 23 years ago. Spoke with him one-on-one for a while. He listened while I talked, I listened while he talked, and he impressed me as a bright guy that first time and every time since.

Same guy I see on what little time the MSM clowns allow whenever he’s on TV. Smart, well-read, articulate, more than reasonably convincing. We’ve got our disagreements, but nothing deal-breaking.

He told me that he got interested in political economics pretty much the same way I did, trying to make sense of the screwed-up national and world economies after he’d gotten out into practice. We’d each dug through the “mainstream” economists and found that they were full of crap, and then each of us started reading in the Austrian School.

Dr. Paul made his entry by way of Ludwig von Mises’ massive Human Action while I started with Henry Hazlitt’s The Conquest of Poverty (courtesy of H.L. Mencken’s endorsement of Hazlitt as “one of the few economists who can really write“), but we’d both gotten to pretty much the same place.

He’s an OB/GYN, I’m a family doc, and though we’d be on opposite sides of the room in a hospital medical staff meeting, I knew we could get along.

As for his “track record of effective legislative leadership, do you mean his refusal to “go along to get along”?

That’s supposed to be some kind of failing?

How well d’you think you know him, Cabby?

Not one goddam little bit, I suspect.

    • MissouriAnn

Cain has MUCH more experience that nearly ALL the candidates! Have you looked at his resume’? It is so impressive. He hasn’t just been the Godfather’s Pizza savior. The man is a virtual genius as well as being ‘just plain folks’……….he is our only hope.

      • MAKE MY DAY

Why has he NEVER won an election for “public office??? My $$$ and the Vegas $$$ is on Romney being the GOP nominee (Vegas always wins) – and EVERYBODY had better get behind him !!!

        • Gamme

Make my Day, did you not see my original (1) reason? He is NOT a Career Politician. He’s been busy in the REAL world. Not living on the government payroll. You need to read his resume & exactly what his 999 plan is. It is not a plan like Romney’s which is several pages long. Iwish Congress would pass a law that NO law be no longer than the Constitution. After all, that has served America well for over 230+ years.

        • Mike

Might as well vote for Oh Bugger ’cause Romney = Oh Bugger = statud quo = rich get richer, poor get poorer. Don’t believe me? Every President since Reagan has been worse than the one before him. So it ain’t so… So why you gonna get votin’ for the same? Because you would rather vote for “someone who can win” versus “someone who represents your principles?” That’s what most people do and they deserve the crooked pols they get. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who can save America. Every other one is only more of the same, Rep or Dem., makes no diference… they’re bought with the SAME money.

        • Neil Walden

Not on your life. A man is no better than the church he goes to. I was a Morman for five years and worked on temple square as a Plumber. The leaders (Apostles HA) were stealing from the church and breaking the state law doing it at that time. He isn’t much better than OBUMA. You want to know more write me ne444409@gmail.xom.

Cain can’t touch Ron Paul’s experience. Dr. Paul was telling us 8 years ago NOT to get involved with Freddie and Fannie and he also told us to stay out of Iraq. Too bad we didn’t listen. If you really want to be impressed, go to YouTube and type in Ron Paul’s amazing Predictions. That clip shows both floor speeches predicting the outcome of both of the aforementioned scenarios. Looking back, we can see that his predictions have indeed come to fruition. Sad but true. At least now, we still have Dr. Paul to provide us the leadership required to dig our way out of the hole he tried to prevent us from falling in to begin with. Also, before you get too gooey over Cain, check out the Federal Reserve (The Money Masters on YouTube is a wonderful documentary series that explains their role in our Nation’s history as well as the basic history of money in general predating Jesus Christ). Take note that Cain (even after having worked for the Fed) sees no need to audit the Federal Reserve. In contrast, Dr. Paul was finally (after 30 years of trying) successful in the first ever Audit of the Fed last summer. The hearing summarizing the results were held on Oct. 4, 2011. Funny, how even though historical, that hearing never made front page news. You can watch that on You Tube too. Our next President could very well determine whether America maintains her Sovereignty or becomes a part of the North America Union (NAU). If we want to save our Nation, I think Ron Paul will be our best bet at success.

        • Sanderson

Still, he’s TOO OLD. AND, he was part of the problem (Congress) that got us into this mess right now.
For 30 years he has been part of the problem, and now Paul wants us to be he is the solution? NOPE.

          • Mike

Ron Paul would be 77 on Inauguration Day if elected President in 2012. Ron Paul is an AVID bicyclist and challenge every other GOP candidate to a bike ride through downtown Houston back in Aug. in triple-digit temps. Suprisingly…, there were no takers.

My Uncle flew jet fighters in the Korean War. He would have been 83 had he lived. He didn’t make it back, but a whole lot of his comrades did and through the miracle of the Internet, I contacted some 30 pilots, crew chiefs, and other admin/intel types who served with my Uncle. Last year I held a reunion for the Squadron. The folks that showed up are 82 years and older and during our luncheon discussion they all agree that “80 was the ‘new’ 60.” In two weeks I’ll be playing golf with three of those gents ages 83-86. I’m 51 and I KNOW who’s going to post ‘low score.’ That’d be me.

Ron Paul is NOT too old to be POTUS even though that’s the only argument some of his critics can bring up against him. With age comes wisdom…

Ron Paul or not at all, 2012.

            Write in over Romney!

          @57 girl,
Right on. Some idiots say he’s too old. There is no such thing as too old. He is on top of what’s happening to this country and would do his best to correct it. His big problem is that he stated that he would audit the so called “Fed”. The jews will not allow that to happen unless they could use all jew auditors. That would be like cleaning a dirty window with a fresh turd.

      • Mike

You are SO right. NONE of the other candidates has a clue on how to make pizza.

Ron Paul has been a consistent and honest voice for 30+ years. He will fix us and make us proud. Unlike Obama who apologizes for our country.

    • Charles F. Neukam

Promblem with ron paul, he would make our military weak. Personal opion. I like cain. Not saying he doesn’t have some good ideals on the economy. I still go with cain. I agree with Noelle. If those other Nations want to use our troops, then let them pay for our presence in their Nations. Otherwise, it is time for our troops to come back to US soil and guard our own borders. If any other Nation came to America and set up military bases here and dictated how we ran things, what do you honestly think our reaction would be? We are a Sovereign Nation and we should behave accordingly. Aside from the money and lives we would save, think of the enemy we could spare ourselves. Go back to 1951 and look at who started the ball bouncing with the wars we are facing in the Middle East today. Those guys wouldn’t even know we were on the map had we not gone onto their soil and tried to interfere with their ‘dictators’ way back when. And a lot of the Nations we call our enemies today were our allies years ago and we even sold them weapons. So now they are using our own weapons against us. Personally, I think we should de-throne the dictator running the show in America today . . . and replace him with Ron Paul. Let everybody else overthrow their own damned Governments if they aren’t happy campers.

          • Mike

I didn’t join the military to keep any of you people free. I joined the military because I needed a job. I served with honor and distinction and I’m proud of it, but I didn’t join and I don’t know any of my comrades who said: “I joined and volunteered my life so that other Americans could be free and safe. You can only take the patriotic rhetoric so far, and our politicians have been using that “…they and fought and died so you could be free…” to convince the public to give more money to keep the Military-Industrial Complex making profits by churning out an endless stream of war materiel. Wake up people. Look at how much money is spent on WAR MATERIEL. Can’t keep those War Goods manufacturing lines going and the profits sky high without one or two active “wars,” now can we?

          • Diane

Guard what borders? Haven’t you noticed we have an open revolving gate… In case you haven’t seen 911 was from radical Islamic that we welcomed, help we taught them to fly, we take them into our military and they work there way into being liked and trusted in our neighborhoods, then they turn on us and kill whoever they can, now they’re trying to instill their laws in our courts & we stand be debating wether or not they had the right to kill their own children if they act to American! Hell send them home if they don’t want to live under our American rules! I wouldn’t let my grandson play out on a summer evening these days as I did as a child, this is a scary world and we need a strong leader!

      • Mike

Problem with your line of thinking is…, you can’t see that ending a process of invading Sovereign Nations and killing their people, with no authority from our Constitution, simply because we have a philisophical difference with them is NOT weakening our Military. If you disagree then try this: Take a credit card out in your child’s name. Buy weapons systems and munitions using the credit card. Max it out. Give the weapons and munitions to your children and send them out to kill all of the bad people in the bad neighborhoods in your area. As you identify more bad people in more bad neighborhoods, get a credit increase (raise debt ceiling) from your bank. Buy more weapons and munitions. With regard to purchasing weapons and munitions, maxing out the credit card, securing a credit limit increase, just keep doing what I call the economic shampoo, e.g. “Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat.” After you’re children have killed lots and lots of bad people, try to figure out why the rest of the people in the bad neighborhoods hate your children. Warning: At some point and time, you may be force to attend the funeral of your child or that of someone else you know. Lastly, IF your child survives the war and is not otherwise permanently physically or mental maimed from the horrors of battle… give them the credit card bill to pay off. See any similarities here. In this analogy, how would ending the killing and bringing your children home make you any less safe?

    • American Patriot

      @Joe,
I agree, but if he should happen to get elected, he’s a dead man walking. The cult that killed JFK when he signed E.O. 11110 would see to that.

      • Tip top man

i agree but who killed JFK there’s a lot of names out there if you know please tell us ? But ya if he won he’s dead that’s a given

        • 57 girl

I suspect the answers to the JFK assassination that were not immediately destroyed after the fact went up inflames on 911. Most of that sealed information was housed in building 7 when it was pulled. Ditto for all of the damning evidence against Enron and World Com. Amazing how a little fire can wipe the slate clean. I doubt we will ever know the truth about the JFK assassination. I also seriously doubt Oswald did it , I think he was a scapegoat. Notice how they popped a cap in him before they ever even got him to the police station for questioning. Convenient, huh?

          • Old Timer

57 girl you need to learn that it’s better to sit quietly and be thought a fool that to open your mouth and erase all doubt. You don’t know what was going on in 51′. We were in Korea at the time and I know a little about Korea because I was there.

That was another example of our being unprepared and we nearly got our heads handed to us. Our troops were down in the Pusan perimeter and The Marine brigade wasconsituted by the reactivation of the battle tested and bloodied Marines to go in and fill in the gaps until McArthur pulled off the Inchon invasion.

Don’t talk about cutting our forces again. We used to have to ponds to buy time to rebuild our forces – We don’t have that luxury any more. So don’t show your stupidity by suggesting that we need toweaken our position in a dangerous world.

We expect that stupidity from the muslim in the WH but he is not now and never was a natural born citizen and we the voters(not me) were suckered into voting for the democrats again.

In the mean time I believe we should be self sufficient within our own borders and quit buying oil from other counties, let them fight it out them selves, they have be doing it for hundreds of years in the middle east, with the exception of Isreal, The Land & people are sacred and we must NEVER let Palestine destroy the Temple. If you are not a believer, let me tell you this act will be the beginning of the end, those who do not stand with Isreal will perish.

I don’t mean to offend, but some of you just don’t get that they have been planning this for years. A lot of years. If we pick the wrong candidate now we could be lost forever. What happens when it’s more of the same? Let the candidates record show their true colors. There is one that has been consistent every time. Funny thing is the media and debate deciders shun this man. Wonder why?????

  • Paul

My thinking is do we need another politician to keep things going the same way they have been (business as usual, you know the thing obama said he would put a stop to) OR do we need someone who will go to Washington, and do the peoples business. Do what is right for the country, rather than look out for the boys. Romey will most definitely look out for the boys before the American people.

      • Johnnygard

noelle, Are you too young to remember? Newt is a true CONSERVATIVE. He brought Republican control, after 40 years of Democrat Majority Rule, back to Congress with the “Contract with America.” He forced, along with John Kasich, now the Governor of Ohio, Bill Clinton to balance the Federal Budget. He also got Clinton to sign welfare reform (after Bill had vetoed it two or three times). He was, perhaps, one of the greatest Speakers the House of Representatives has ever known. He is also just one of two Republican hopefuls, this time around, who has a plan…a new “Contract with America.” His first contract promised if Republicans were elected to the majority that they would vote on ten specific items (the ten items were listed in a full page ad in TVGuide for everyone to see) within the first 100 days. True to his word, all 10 items were voted on, within 100 days. Show me one other politician in our lifetime that has put campaign promises in print and lived up to all of them!

What you Ron Paul folks might want to think about is Ron Paul is not a real Republican he is a Libertarian which mostly side with the Democrats. Plus he wants to legalize marijuana, cut our military which we need to protect our country. Bring them home and build our military back to where it should be. Study his 30 plus years and that will give you a good insight to the real Ron Paul.

    • noelle

Ron does want to cut military spending WHICH DOES NEED TO BE CUT AND HE WANTS TO BRING HOME THE FORCES WHICH THEY SHOULD BE! THEY ARE NOT THE POLICE FORCE FOR THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Old Timer

Noelle, You know Santana was right. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. It would be smart if you would study the history of WWI for not having a military, WWII for not being prepared (for those like me who remember our troops using sticks and trucks with cardboard sign identifying them as tanks) it was just by the grace of God that we didn’t lose our carriers at Pearl Harbor) We didn’t have enough battle hardened troops on active duty for Korea. And again we were not prepared for Viet Nam. If it wasn’t for Reagan we wouldn’t have been prepared for Desert storm.

We absolutely don’t need to cut our forces and thoise of us who have been there and done that don’t want our wives and children to be subjected to that. Every one of us would much rather keep the wars over there among those who want to start them and be prepared for them.

I can only speak about the Marines but we were trained tokill people and break things and we are very good at it. We must stop sending our military in to fight with the stupid rules of engagement that will not let them do what they are trained to do. When our military as alowed to do that usually what’s left is considerably more peaceful than what we have seen under our rules of engagement in which our officers are under pressure to “play nice”

We need a Reagan or Thatcher who will send the troops in with orders to get’er done and get out.

Just a question! Lets say Cain gets the ticket,,,,,,,,,,would Newt or Paul accept being VP??

    • rder

NO. being VP is hardly more than an honor title. Well, it does have one vote in the senate if there is a tie. I don’t perceive either of them being a Cain lackey – like Cheney was for Bush. The VP has no power and no authority.

    I support Romney.

  • James

Some of you people crack me up. This phrase flip flopping was something that came into being from the liberal media and has caught on because it’s a convenient phrase to use. Big deal. So Romney has changed his his mind on a few things. I change my mind on things to when I see that it works better another way and I see the advantages of doing things differently. I venture to say that anyone who posts here has changed their stance on many things. It’s only human nature. Obummer changes his stance depending on which direction the wind is blowing or if he thinks it’s not getting him anywhere. I’m not saying that I’ve decided on Romney yet, I also like Cain. But either one would be 10 times better than what we have now.

    • Kevin

I agree with you 100%. Herman Cain is my man but if it is Romney, I will man phones, walk door to door, donate money, whatever it takes to stop the destruction of America and Obama’s assault on the Constitution.

    • rder

Yep, I changed my mind. I was originally against Newt – then I saw and studied the other candidates – and I’m going with Newt.

  • greg connor

From Allen Wests comments a few days ago, I believe he is seriously considering running. When asked about it, he said he must talk to his constituents, consult his family and pray about it. Before this, he simply said “no” I believe this man has been brought to this point by his strong and unwavering patriotic love of this country, and is feeling the pull of duty despite his own personal devotion to serving the people in Florida first because they elected him. He is a loyal and true patriot whom I feel God has prepared for this moment…if not president, for sure in another role where he will give his all to this country…as he has already defending her in combat.

  • JVB

    I’m going Republican. Period.

    • Kevin

      Ditto.

      May God Bless you.

    • Robert from Texas

JVB-That is the smart thing 2 do if u want to defeat ovomit!! I hope & pray everybody follows your lead.

  • Sergio Pastor

You get what you deserve unless you vote for real change- a non-politician a business man initially poor now a rich man GOOD America example of a truly conservative…. and it is Herman Cain. He left the Democratic plantation long time ago and dismiss from his mind the “touchy feely crap or diversity that drag minorities to poverty + weak Latinos with no “brains or cojones”and black depending on welfare to keep you dependent of other white Americans.
Sergio Pastor,First American then Latino and Democrat!!!

  • Richard B.

I’ve always seen Romney as a dishonest politician right from the start. This is a politician that acts and decides based on the political climate rather than from a firm core of convictions. I will not vote for him in the primaries, that’s for sure. But if he eventually wins the primary, I may have no choice but to vote for him in the general elections because it’s either him or Obama, and Romney looks like an angel compared to Obama.

    • Robert from Texas

      Absolutely!

  • Marlene

Oh boy. The Dems must love all of our in-fighting. Remember, we still have over a year to elections and almost that till conventions.

    • rder

There are only 90 days, more or less until the primaries. the convention is just a show and tell. and to prove it – Florida gave up half it’s delegates to the convention to show early who they wanted for the candidate. South Carolina’s primary shouldn’t even count – since the democrats have no primary with Obama the only candidate – they get to choose who the Republican nominee will be – that’s just so dandy.

    • Robert from Texas

Marlene–this is how u sort out who we won’t to run & vote for. The facts are coming out. I have really learned a lot from these great posts. I think we all have.

  • boyd atterberry

I am still not decided on anyone yet, but one thing I know, everyone that has remarked has made mistakes in their life. I believe it was Christ who said” he who is without sin cast the first stone. I read a lot of stones being cast at all of them. We will never get a perfect politician but so far I think Mit has the best track record of business success and he knows how to turn things around. The Utah Olympics was in shambles and he turned it around and the state even made money. Our economy needs the same thing and from what I see of everybody else, he is more likely to do it than anyone that I have seen. He may be a Mormon but he is not a Harry Reed Mormon. Mit lives his principles. He is an Eagle Scout and has tried to live by example.

  • michele

No to the big government republicans. They all work for the same corporations that Obama does. They are all insiders.
We have one choice that is Ron Paul.
The lobbyists don’t even come to his office, because he won’t be bought.
He will restore Liberty and that will make us strong. We are weak now because the dems and the repubs are the same they all work for the elites.
It’s time to vote all the money grubbing criminals out.
    RON PAUL Now!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kevin

Reagan was fairly Liberal at one point in his life so I am giving Romney a chance because whoever gets the nomination will NEED EVERY SINGLE VOTE TO BEAT OBAMA – THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER. If it is Romney, I WILL vote for him.

    God Bless America

  • R. C.

Mitt Romney, as a so called moderate, is not the one to lead our country. I do not see any candidate that I would vote for. The worst one is ” OBAMA “. The Republicans need to get their heads together anc cme out with one statement as to where they all stand on the issues and how they will correct the mess called ” OBAMA CARE”. Tha tis a subjext in it self that needs to be handled quicly after the election.

    • Kevin

Stay home and the end of America is the fault of you and other like minded persons. Hold your nose and do the right thing.

      Peace

      • noelle

HOW? HE cannot with OUT CONGRESS!

        • rder

Yes, somebody sees the light. The incoming president cannot do much except undo what Obama has done with his Czars. It is Congress that has to undo ObamaCare/SocialistDemocratMormon Reid Care.

    • Mike

I’m a Ron Paul convert and I’ve converted a few co-workers. Spend just a few minutes researching Ron Paul on Google and Youtube and you’ll be probably be a convert to. There’s only ONE candidate who differs from the status quo that is the rest of the GOP field and that’s Ron Paul. Give him a look. The more you look, the more you’ll like what you see.

    • Robert from Texas

      So true!

  • http://none Carlos J. Negron

I could not care less about flip flops in areas like abortion or health care that is not in the purview of government.
I have worked in government and know that you cannot abdicate your personal liberties to any bureaucrats whims.

Unfortunately, many politicians craft their messages to placate the voter who continuosly falls for the rhetoric.
Most of what is said during the campaign will not come to pass and to vote on what is said is the height of naivete.

  • dagohoy

Whoever wins the Republican nomination I will support againsts the Great Pretender now running amuck and wrecking our economy. I’ll even vote for my 12 yr. old cat-Tigger!

There is something off balance and crooked about somebody given to change ups, no crediability, no integrity, and no trustworthiness. This is one individual neither Romney nor Cain are pulling a slick Willie and Obama on!

  • http://www.american-partisan.com Timothy Rollins

The jackyl smegma spasmodic (thank you, Free Republic reader) that is the mainstream media (to include FOX News, for whom I’ve lost ALL respect) after the hatchet job they did in omitting Ron Paul after the Iowa Caucus/Beauty Pageant, only shows me how the American peple are just simply TOO DAMN STUPID to believe all the crap they are spoon-fed by the media-industrial complex.

If you were to look for a TRUE champion of Liberty — one who places the Constitution above all else as the SUPREME Law of the Land — and one who believes that all foreign aid should be cut off altogether, especially since we as a nation are DEAD FLAT BROKE with $15 TRILLION IN DEBT, then the only champion for American people is RJ Harris, who is pursuing the Libertarian nomination for the Presidency of the United States.

DO NOT LOOK TO THE TWO-PARTY dog-and-pony show for the solution; they are the dumb bastards that got us in this mess!!! I apologize for the use of language here; but I call things for what they are, and to that end IAPOLOGIZE FOR NOTHING!!!

ROLLINS RULE #1: Never apologize for the truth: It will always stand on its own. Until America — both as a nation and individually adopts this as its motto—then we will continue electing idiots like Barack Hussein Obama and George Walker Bush and the Congressional morons that got us into the hole form which we may never emerge.

Now before any of you write me off as a nut, at least have the open mind and integrity to see what Harris has to say. For openers, other than Dr. Ron Paul (R-TX), Harris is the only 100% CONSISTENT pro-lifer that is running for President. Check out his website at http://www.rjharris2012.com and check out his Facebook page where you can ask him questions before you render judgment on this fine man and son of the Kiowa Nation, who, if elected president, would be the first Native American elected to the highest office in the land.

I invite and welcome your feedback. ***

I don’t really care for Romney-heis anti-gun rights, and a former Massachussetts socialist. He’d be better than Obama, but that’s not saying much.

    • Mike

Not saying much at all… Romney = Oh Bugger = Status Quo = Dollar ruin/collapse = anarchy = no food, no fuel, no electricty, no running water, no zip, nada, nil, nothing except riots and anarchy as the order (or disorder) of the day.

    • Robert from Texas

      Correct!!

  • Joyceann

GET ON THE CAIN TRAIN – He can talk economic rings around Obama. He can answer from his heart any other issue. He thinks like we do and plans to bring America back to the constitution. He is smart enough to surround himself with wisdom instead of buddies. OBTW, if you think that “smoking” add bothered any of us, you are wrong. A large part of America still smokes and doesn’t plan to quit, we roll our own now so our money isn’t buying all the crap the government puts in cigarettes. We stay home. We didn’t buy the Attorney General’s need to make a statement (each one does and polio was already covered) and until we see proof, we don’t worry about somebody shown smoking.

This issue is exactly why I am not voting for Romney. Any person who changes his coarse as many times as he has CANNOT be trusted. Who knows what he would do if elected? And Perry is so PRO IMMIGRATION that he would probably provided transportation for the illegals to get here. Leaves the rest of the pack. One of the things I would love to see if Obama is defeated, is for he and all of his supporters blow all their campaign money all for not….it will probably be close to a billion they say.

    • Mike

“course” but you’re otherwise spot on! NEIN to Romney! NEIN to Perry! NEIN to “Flip-flop Cain.” YES to RON PAUL!

  • Kay

You have to be so old to run for President because our Country needs a person who is seasoned and has had a chance to experience life and make good decisions. The fact that Romney has changed his position is not as important as what his position is after he has had his experiences and matured. My hat is off to him for making changes in his decisions and ending up making the right decisions. Democrats want to attack him to draw attention away from them making poor decisions on everything they make decisions on with terrible outcomes.

It’s not about changing your mind as it is a no good sayin’ whatever he needs to say to get elected. The man’s a liar and the proof is all over the Internet. Politicians haven’t learned yet that their words WILL show up on the Internet. It ain’t like it was before when we had to get our truth from Mass Media and Gov’t. Now…, we have the Internet to give us the truth we can see with our own eyes and the Internet has proven that Mitt Romney is a two-faced lying politician who will say anything to be Prez.

  • harriet cockrell

Romney’s folks ought to be able to compile 2 or 3 pages of the many things Obummer has done, and project an equal number of logical projections of future acts of duplicity he will do, to get elected — in the midst will be the recollection of the “spiritual mentor of 20+years; the ‘uncle’ that he admires (admired?); the baptizer of his children; the epitomy of his social agenda; and perhaps the surrogate father (esp re political philosophy) —- UNDER THE BUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ron

At this time it is too Early to really say as to who would be the BEST, as we are still seeing lots of different things each one has as good or bad….. Cain has a very impressive Resume for all of his accomplishments he has done throughout the Years, If you haven’t seen it or read it, you need to do so…. Romney has some good views and some that are NOT good, plus he flip-flops all over the place, Michelle may be good as a Patriot and have some values to contribute for our Country, especially for Family values, God and commitment to Our Country, Rubio sounds to much like he is going along for the ride, Perry has some of the best of the bunch for a record of winning and of actually creating jobs in Texas…. He has some good views in which may be very good for our Country….. He has made some mistakes while he has been Governor of Texas, but then we all make mistakes, so this is how we learn by making them….. He is a very devout Christain and is against Abortion, so his Family Values is very strong and this is a very contribute to what we need, He hasn’t said though whether he is for the 2nd Ammendment and for GUNS, which may be a down fall to his candidacy…..He needs to speak up and tell everyone and I hope it will be for the 2nd Ammendment and Guns, NOT against this….. Of course this is another subject that other Candidates have NOT spoken up to either, so who knows…..Romney is one of them also, and he has in the past flip-flopped on this issue…..so I don’t think I would TRUST him for this reason alone….. As far as I know Perry has NOT said or done anything to suspect him for NOT being for this issue….. Ron Paul, I think he would make a very good VP to whomever gets the nomination…..as he has very good wisdom of things and what will work…..to get our Country back to it’s GREATNESS….. Newt Gingrich is one who has lots of good ideas and many of which may work, he seems to have good Family Values, from what I have seen so far, he does believe in GOD and may be able to turn things around for OUR Country….. I need to see more though before I can more…..as he’s NOT leaving much to really see and decide anything…..
In any case, we need to find someone who will be a STRONG LEADER, Have Good Family Values, Believes in GOD and shows TRUST in him……someone who we can see making real changes in what this Country was BASED upon believing in GOD and ALL his Wonders…..
We also need someone who is a very STRONG Patriot, who is willing to go that extra mile to make sure we are the GREATEST NATION in the WORLD…..
    GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!!

    • Mike

I think the person you described is OB-GYN Dr. Congressman Ron Paul. Married to the same woman 55 years, Christian Conservative who believes that we must follow the laws of the Constitution which gave birth to America. Dr. Paul has been warning us of Gov’t abuses of the Constitution and overreach of powers since the mid-1980′s. Mass Media never gave Dr. Paul any “air time” to get his warning out but now they can be seen on the Internet via Google and Youtube. When I see video of Congressman Paul speaking on the House Floor; warning the the “unintended consequences of Gov’t intervention into the markets” I makes me ask myself: “Where was I and what was I doing when Dr. Paul was trying to warn us of these Gov’t abuses?

Please do your research on all the candidates on Google and Youtube. If you will, I think you’ll see that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that can Restore America now.

  • Butcher

I’ll stay home before I vote the same thing into the white house…The fact that His name is Mitt, instead of Barak, doesn’t mean anything to me its the same old same old…I’m tired of being lied to

It’s NOT the same ol’. we MUST replace obama or our county is finished. PLEASE VOTE and vote REPUBLICAN TO SAVE OUR COUNTY.

  • dagoberto

The only one who doesn’t flip-flop is Ron Paul. He is a real champion of liberty.

  • Big T

Ron, I was called the other day by Romneys people to be on a Townhall phone meeting, so I stayed on the phone and listened for about 10 minutes and someone came on and asked If I was ready to ask a question and I said yes, and he said you are next, and then he said what does it pertain to and I said I would like to know his stance on the 2nd amendment , and he said wow thats a good one, it went on for about 10 more minutes and they ended it without my question , but I guess that answered it for me !

  • Norma

Well, it looks like we all agree that all the candidates look good, but each one has some negative baggage. Whomever gets the nominee position will have something in their platform that someone of us is not going for. But we all want a Republican up there (not perfect there either), instead of the crook and fraud that is there along with a crooked, selfish congress. Hopefully, much of congress will change too. We need REAL congressmen there who care more about America and FREEDOM than their own agenda. I do hope that after next year we will have seen the last of Pelosi and Reid along with other hanger-ons who just love their salary. We need to slash the salaries of the government workers while we’re at it. And certainly, term limits. Eight years to live off Americans is enough!

    • rder

You are not going to get term limits – Congress, not this one nor any future one will even put up such a measure – if you want term limits – stop supporting the Democrat and Republican parties and begin supporting men and women who you believe will represent you and not their party. And quit supporting and voting for representatives and senators that have been in office twice already. But you won’t – you either like that pork or you think they are doing a good job for you. but it’s the only way you will get term limits – do it yourself.

      • Robert from Texas

        Excellent post brother!!!

      • G

You Are Correct about Term Limits, It Is Only Possible At The Ballot Box. But The Fact There are never enough Votes many times, to make this possible, What We Must Do Is Start Demanding That All Politicians, Regardless of Which Political Stripe, Obey The Constitutional Oath Of Office They Took and Swore To uphold. No Legislating From The Bench For The Judicial Department, Eliminate The Right for czars and all these rule making efforts that result from them. Demand, That congress live by all the same rules, benefits, and laws that they produce to govern all Americans, Stop all the lip service and talk sensibly about things we can affect. Good Luck Semper Fi.

  • Julian

No one is more guilty of flip flopping (two faced) than McCain and yet out of three hundred million people, probably 100 million elegible candidates the best we could come up with in 08 was , well you know. This time instead of better than, or voteing against the other guy, how about someone we can really support. However right now with all the devasting things going on, all the illigal things going on, and the overall dire shape of this countries internal and external policies, the candidates choose to hide behind tax plans. Since nothing will be done about it and since the President can’t do anything about it by himself it seems to be the safeest topic out there. How about at the next debate they ask questions like what are the mistakes of the last four years and what do you intend to do about them. Oh, I forgot government only makes mistakes, never admits to them or corrects them.

Liberal Mitt’s Greatest Hits: What Romney Doesn’t Want You to See

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OQoBxZZPqU&feature=player_embedded

  • http://yahoo bob corbe

Is Romney that much different than Obama ?

    • Mike

      He’s the “B” side of a “45″

For those of you who are too young to know what a “45″ is… us ‘old’ folks used to listen to our music on vinyl records; either a ‘single’ disc (acutally two sides) which spun on a ‘turntable’ at 45 rpm or an LP (Long Playing record usually containing 10 songs) which spun at 33 rpm.

The “hit” record was on the “A” side of the 45. The “B” side was a “lesser know” single.

Moral of the story here is Romney and Oh Bugger will get paid by the same Big Money Elitists. Big Money don’t care which horse wins the race because they’ve bet on BOTH of them.

How Texas Governor Rick Perry , http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/14-reasons-why-rick-perry-would-be-a-really-really-bad-president is ensconced in the causes and effects of transnationalism and globalism, which wage clear and present warfare against the independent and constitutional American republic of sovereign and free Citizens.

TX GOV Rick Perry in this Link shows that he is a Trans-nationalist and would support the UN Agenda 21 takeover of the USA:

    http://commonamericanjournal.com/?p=29553

In this Link Gov Rick Perry is described as a Globalist supporter:

Rick “Bilderberg” Perry – “Kiss Me, I’m a Republican”- Could the “Darling” of Texas be Running for President?

Rick Perry is the darling of the Bilderberg Group and they couldn’t have picked at better puppet. Let’s face it, he even attended their meetings. So you have to ask yourself, why Rick Perry? Is he the ultimate face for the Bilderberg Boys? A governor who brings in foreign groups, such as the Chinese to the State of Texas,
    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-10-11/cnooc-buys-shale-in-china-s-biggest-u-s-oil-deal.html
, to buy up hundreds of thousands of acres of their land?

At the moment the GOP is slobbering all over this man, for reasons that aren’t very apparent. Yes, Texas is doing well financially, but at what cost? He has let huge foreign investment into Texas via the Chinese. The Chinese are funding massive drilling projects in the state, and are using up massive amounts of Texas natural resources. The mining process of fracking uses up huge amounts of water, along with other chemicals, as they are after the natural gas and oil.

    • American Patriot

      Right on!!!

  • True Patriot that believes in the original US Constitution

Well, Mitt Romney’s is the Governor of MA, so what do you expect from a career politician? All they want is the top job, the power, to oppress the people and to screw this country and the American people at the same time. Didn’t Romney sign a bill on perverted ‘gay’ rights. He thinks he can get into office because of the legacy of Boston, MA. Legacy like John Adams and John and Robert Kennedy. Well, he’s nothing like them. He’s just the opposite!! The only reason he wants the top job is to sell-out this country like the rest of the career politicians. What is he getting in return for this? Since, he’s a millionaire, why does he need the money? All these presidents since FDR have been corrupt. They don’t want to help or listen to the taxpayers. It’s “taxation without representation.” Go to website if you want to: http://www.haasstrep68.com Page 1 is my slogan.

    • rder

Tain’t true and you know it – Ronald Reagan was a true American President. The rest – including FDR were progressive socialists – even the republicans.

    • Darryl

FDR was the most corrupt Socialist of all. He comes close to BO. FDR is the one that continued fleecing American’s right, ala President Wilson, the sluggo. As for Romney, he would have been the nominee in 2008 had Huckabee not thrown his West Virginia delegates to McCain who at that toime was dead in the water. Had Romney been the nominee, he would have beaten BO instead of Weasel Mouth McCain…..the real RINO in the GOP.

  • Joseph777

You the people, have to be concerned as to why a sitting president needs a $1 billion war chest?
Are they going to use that money to buy votes? If so, he is back in the WH.

  • Mary S

    I like Perry’s tax plan.

    • Winona

Perry’s tax plan is the best one being proposed. He took his time to discuss it with several experts on this subject and then publicized it. Now, he can explain it in legitimate terms, unlike the bufoon Cain, who cannot articulate what it is he supposedly believes.

  • R.D.

When is there going to be someone who will stand up and do his/her job !! They are supposed to do what we vote and ask them to do. Ummm, let’s see ? Don’t they work for us ? Who cares what they think about abortion or immigration !?What I want to hear is “What do You the people of The United States of America want ?” I want someone who will do what we ask them.
    Pretty friggin simple !

    • rder

No, they don’t work for you. where did you get such an idea. You elect them to run the country – not to do your bidding. That you expect them to stick to and uphold the Constitution should be a given. America doesn’t know what it wants – that’s why almost every other president is from the other party. It’s time to start voting for the Man or Woman and forget what party they belong to. get rid of the party would be the ideal.

  • Ron in Springdale

This is just what the Democrats want. Division in the Non-Democrats (Republican – Inedpendents). I have even heard roumors that Ron Paul may run as an Inedpendant if he does not get the Republican nomination. This would be a shew in for Obama, he might even be willing to pay for Dr. Paul’s campaign. We need to rally around someone, anyone who can send POTUS Obama back to Chicago, 1/20/2013 as private citizen Obama.

Your Social Security: Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your kids. They need a little history lesson on what’s what . . . . . and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts!!! Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes.Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message was removed. An old Social Security card with the “NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION” message. Our Social Security Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised: 1.) That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary,

    No longer Voluntary

2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
    Incomes into the Program,

    Now 7.65% .. . . . on the first $90,000

3.) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,

    No longer tax deductible
4.) That the money the participants be put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program.

Under Johnson the money was moved to
    The General Fund and Spent.

    5) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income

    Under Clinton & Gore
Up to 85% of your Social Security can be Taxed
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following: ———— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— —- Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate. ———— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— — Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? A: The Democratic Party. ———— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— —– Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US ———— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— – And until recently, many “do-gooders” FAVORITE leader (???) : Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? A: That’s right!
Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it ! ———— — ———— ——— —– ———— ——— ——— Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! The worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it, and believe that the Democats are “for the people.” If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not . . . . . . some Democrats are awfully sure . . . . . of what isn’t so. But it’s worth a try. How many people can YOU send this to? Actions speak louder than bumper stickers.
AND CONGRESS GIVES THEMSELVES 100% RETIREMENT FOR ONLY SERVING ONE TERM

    • Diane

You got it exactly right James! Many younger people are not aware of these fact because they really don’t pay attention to Politics. Another part of that is the SSI which is also given to injured Illegals, just like medical benifits, schools etc, does anyone want to venture a guess at who is pulling this wagon with all this baggage?

  • Don

Listen I trust you all have a great mind. That being said we need to have a candidate that will be able to stand next to Obama and defeat him in a discussion, debate or any kind of meeting. That person is Newt Gingrich. He is very capable and has a great plan for America dont comment unless you have read his contract with America. He can stand toe to toe with Obama and beet him with his dialogue and experience. Newt can win against Obama we just need to vote him in.

  • ed

    THAT IS SO RIGHT..
WE HAVE TO STAND TOGETHER TO REALLY SHAME OVOMIT OUT OF OFFICE!
    IT

  • ed

mY BEST DAY. WILL BE WHEN OVOMIT IS SENT PACKING ALONG WITH THE MOOCH MICHELLE AND LIL TAKISHA AND LIL ROSHONDA..And the mother in law, his brother and sister, his aunt and uncle pariahs (Rightfully the pariah aunt and uncle should be deported WITH prejudice!)

    • Mike

I’ll give an “Amen Ya’ll” to that!

  • John Sorenson

I will vote for whoever the Republican nominee is, however it is going to take a very intelligent and experienced candidate to tackle the daunting monatary, national and international problems and issues before us. If that is the criteria, then Gingrich seems to be the most qualified, plus he could grind Obama up in the presidential debates which will be what will sway the many independents whom they will actually be talking to. I’m not confident that any of the others could do this. Thus, my choice would be a Gingrich/Cain, Paul, or Huntsman ticket.

  • nhlfoda

Before you give a second thought to Romney; I suggest you dig back to 2006 and start reading….

When Romney was Governor of MA, he sounded just like Obama does today; blaming his problems on the previous administration and reluctant to tackle issues until he didn’t have a choice; like the Big Dig (14 billion over budget and 10 years behind schedule) but he only took on the Big Dig after a woman was killed when part of the tunnel roof caved in on her car. Romney claims to have created tons of jobs during his tenure as Governor, yet the actually numbers are much less. Romney was the driving force behind Romney Care, and now MA is constantly battling the rising cost of the Massachusetts Health Care program. Take a minute to read the following article. http://money.cnn.com/2010/06/15/news/economy/massachusetts_healthcare_reform.fortune/index.htm

Even as recent as this week, Romney refused to take a stance on the union battles taking place in Ohio, Wisconsin, etc…. Romney has demonstrated that he has no principles to stand on; only eggshells that he’s afraid to break.

We can’t afford an Obama clone like Romney…. Think Conservative and think BOLD Contrast!!

  • Gwendolyn

Voting Romney in is like breaking the camel’s back!!! He is another “fair weather friend”, a diehard Politician who will say anything to get elected. We don’t need to go there again!!! Business as usual cannot be allowed anymore. We need to clean out the Senate, and all of Obama’s czars, along with Obama. Use your heads, for heaven’s sake!! Take a good look, and a listen to Newt Gingrich, and you’ll discover who the right man for the job is.

    • Mike

If you look closely at some of Newt’s interviews, he endorses Ron Paul.

Thank you for contacting me about the important issue of gun ownership and the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I appreciate your interest in my campaign for president and would like to thank you for taking the time to share your views with me.

First, I support the Second Amendment as one of the most basic and fundamental rights of every American. The right to bear arms is essential to our functioning free society. I am proud to count myself as one of the many honest, law-abiding citizens who uses firearms responsibly.

I do not believe in adding any more laws to restrict the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. I resolutely believe in the significance of proper gun ownership and sales. I understand that there are those in this country who wish to remove all guns from our society, but understand I stand firmly against that view. While many in Washington do not, I recognize that there is a difference between law-abiding gun owners and criminals that wish to do harm. Those who choose to use a firearm during the commission of a crime must be punished to the full extent of the law. With that said, we should provide law enforcement with the proper resources to punish and deter criminals, not inconvenience lawful gun owners.

As governor of one of the most liberal states in the country, I was proud to support legislation that expanded the rights of gun owners. I worked hard to advance the ability of law-abiding citizens to purchase and own firearms. I stood against liberal desires to create bureaucracy intended to burden gun owners and sportsmen.

I believe that the support of pro-Second Amendment and sportsmen’s groups in my previous runs for office are a testament to my support of the Second Amendment. As governor, I designated May 7th as “The Right to Bear Arms” Day in Massachusetts to honor law-abiding citizens, like yourself, and their right to “use firearms in defense of their families, persons, and property for all lawful purposes, including common defense.” As president, I will fight the battle on all fronts to preserve the Second Amendment.

I am running for president because I believe in America and know that our best days are still ahead. I believe that the principles that made America the leader of the world today—freedom, opportunity, and free enterprise to name just a few—are the very principles that will keep America the leader of the world tomorrow. These last few years have not been the best of times. But while we’ve lost a couple of years, we can still get back on the right track. Just saying this is what he sent to me ! Take it for what it is worth! In Liberty

  • Darryl

I am really sick and tired of the “talking head conservatives” criticizing Romney. I remember
they did the same thing to Bob Dole. These conservative radio mouth pieces would do us all a favor and shut their big mouths unless it’s to take on BO. That goes especially for Rush whom I have listened to for many years. But no longer, he is a pain in the ass! His ego is catching up to his mouth!

    • hungry4food

Darrel what about this ? I think the Liberal Obama Progressives will make Romney and the republicans the Laughing stock of the 2012 election with this Flip Flopping Technocrat Romney . Liberal Mitt’s Greatest Hits: What Romney Doesn’t Want You to See

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OQoBxZZPqU&feature=player_embedded

    • nhlfoda

You may not like Rush, nor any other talking head for that matter; and that’s fine. But if they open dialogue and bring up valid points about why Romney’s credibility should be questioned; I personally am all for it.

I haven’t decided who I’m voting for at this point, but I can tell you it definitely will not be Romney. Romney refuses to stand on principle and take a position on matters that are vitally important to our economy; he’d rather pander to those he thinks can help him get elected and make large contributions to his campaign.

We already have that type of sleaze in the WH now…. we don’t need another president that’ll spend taxpayer money paying back favors in exchange for votes.

      • Winona

I’m about 99% certain that Rush will eventually endorse Perry. He’s grativating in that direction. So will Michael Savage and Levin.

  • http://thetruthaboutminnesota.org Jim

Ben Franklin once said, “When the people find they can vote themselves money; that will herald the end of the republic.” Enough said. Vote the only candidate who has always voted against that behavior and the only candidate with a gutsy deficit reduction and government spending reduction plan cutting $1 trillion the first year and wiping out the federal deficit in three years! The only candidate that will seek to end the private Federal Reserve or at least create competition to the Federal Reserve Notes by seeking an end to the “legal tender” laws.

Ron Paul is the only hope to restore our once great republic.

  • Ed

Well , there are two things romney has never flip flopped over or changed his mind about. 1. Romney still believes black men and women are indwelt by pre-existing evil spirits. 2. Romney still believes Jesus is the brother of lucifer. I feel this unchanging belief of his makes Romney a racist and a blasphemer. I pray Mike Huckabee enters the race and if not that Herman Cain will be our nominee and our next president . This Cain is more than Able.

    • Robert from Texas

Better do your research on Cain!!

      • Mack

        Meaning?

  • MsJune

For the Love of God, we do not want Obama back in but please No Romney or Perry. Romney has truly flip flopped on many issues. Perry is for the Illegals. There are more candidates to choose from. Cain is ahead in the polls and there is Newt. Just go check the other candidates records before you settle for anyone besides Obama. I truly feel any one of the GOP’s will be able to beat Obama except Huntsman and the newest one to show up . Ron Paul would be better than Obama but we would get the crazy with his good ideals. Please do your home work before you make a decision and get all the facts.

  • Joy

Here are the reasons Romney is the best choice.
He is articulate, intelligent, and is great at debates. He would definately outdebate Obama.
He may have evolved over the years. Intelligent people do evolve, and listen to the
people, and when you listen to the people a change of opinion is necessary.
    Romney can win over Independants.
Why should past opinions of social issues matter? We need a real leader,
    who can solve serious problems.
Perry is the biggest flip-flooper of all of them-He was a past Democrat, and campaigned for Gore.
Most people I know like Cain but are turned off by his National Sales tax. Democrats
will have a field day with that issue.
Extreme consertatives cannot beat Obama. Only 25% of our population are
extreme consertatives. Only 20% are extreme progressive liberals. Most are center
right and Romney fits the majority of voters choice.
My 2nd choice would be Newt. He is brilliant, but does not come across as Presidential.
The best team to defeat Obama…would be Romney/Newt or Romney/Cain.
I pray that Romney is the nominee. In my opinion is he the only nominee that would
    defeat Obama.

  • cdl

Well let’s see. Santorum how ever he spell’s his name and Perry, according to fact check .com lied about Romney, and Perry’s new commercials have so blaitantly been edited to say what he want’s people to believe Romney said, but didn’t. They are blaming Romney for changes the Gov. that preceded him did. These two men, now that I know they will lie about a contender, will never get my vote. If they lie about this they will about other things. Romney will get my vote.

  • Don39

So much ignorance. So much divisivness. So much to be done. So little time. You folks better wake up and get with some cohesion and some action. No candidate will save the nation, only we the people can! Do not let all these wolves in sheeps clothing get in your way. Only as one can we win. fractured we will fail . Don’t let the BIGOTS and the Obama Plants get in your way. Call them out if you want , but do not waste time on them otherwise. We must take back this nation. No candidate is perfeck and none ios the solution to the socialist takeover we haqve let happen. The solution is the power and the power is the voters working in unison to restore, yes force the restoration of the Constitutional Republic. Many of us took oathes to uphjold the Constitution and protect the ation against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. If you have not already it is time to renew that oath and get involved. See VeterandefendersofAmerica; oathkeepers; or patriotsunion. Support 11-11-11. get organized to protect and watch thje polls. Do something to be part of the growind Conservative Majority. We should by now have convinced Obama to run and hide.

Learn the fundamentals of Liberty, why you believe what you believe, and why Liberty is not only moral, but pragmatic. Understand your beliefs!

      then

teach everyone you can. Don’t fall for the PC preachers of today. We have to wake people up and teach them why the fundamentals of good government (Religion and morality), the benefits of liberty, equal treatment under the law, responsibility, etc…

They say, “Romney looks Presidential.” Well—hoop -tee-do. What does “presidential” look like? To me it looks like a repeat of the disasters thats been happening the last 50 or so years. “Presidential” in the Republican party invokes images of RHINO. Just gimmie a bag O tea folks.

    • Mack

Agree, Did Abraham Lincoln look “Presidential?” He looked kind of goofy if you ask me…but a man of character and a great leader no doubt.

  • lee l

First of ALL RUBIO MUST BE VP …republicans would be brain dead if they didn’t choose him

Hispanic, youth and FLORIDA plus he is GREAT…He is the only politician I actually believe.

PICTURE the Republicans with a CAIN/RUBIO Ticket come on republicans Thats the Ticket!

    CAIN VS UNABLE

  • dj

Romney has been running for 17 years for something. I wouldn’t vote for him at all. Cain’s tax would put more people in the poor house and those that like him now would come to see him as another Obama before long. His idea’s are goofy.
Paul is another one that has run for President and people would never be able to get him in office. I would say these three would be beat by Obama easily.

Now the only one that would beat Obama would be Perry. He is the most honest and has Christian values that most of the others lack. Plus while Cain, Romeny and the others, except for Paul, were doing everything they could to stay out of the military and defending our country. They haven’t the foggiest idea of what the military needs to protect us.

Trump said tonight that he likes Perry’s tax bill the best. Also he said if we don’t get a good one he will run as an Independent maybe. Now if he does that would split the votes and Obama will win in a three way race.

Besides tax wise with Perry’s tax plan he has where companies can bring their money back to the USA to start business’ to put Americans back to work.

    • AMERICAN

I like Ron Paul. He wants to fence the borders. I Trust Backmann on all Americans rights being upheld. I like Cain, but don’t know how strong he is on speach. up against anyone. Which you must be strong. I know Backmann is very strong. I know she will do well keeping America strong. Getting America back to work. Perry is also strong. Very strong on America’s rights. Perry/Backmann would be in GOOD HANDS

    • Mack

Wait, we’re supposed to vote for Rick Perry because if we don’t Donald Trump will run as an independent and split the vote? Are you serious? Talk about political blackmail…”vote for my guy or I’m going to run and make sure Obama gets elected.”

If Donald Trump runs for president as a 3rd party candidate it is because he wants Obama to win. He isn’t stupid enough to think he would win.

  • dj

I don’t think Backmann is going to last much longer. Building a fence just will cost way to much and won’t work. There are places that building a fence just can’t be done . Perry is right on the money on that one. Boots on the ground, drones in the air and carry your gun is the only way to stop what is going on. We also need to do as he says as well. Go into Mexico and take out those drug cartels.

Until then we won’t stop a lot of the trafficting along the borders. Also we need a man that has shown he can bring jobs just as he has done in Texas. A great plus with him is he wants to make us independent of foreign oil and he will start on that on day one.

    • dennis

You are wrong,we need a fence, and it has to be loaded with 500 votes of electicty at all times ,this is our country and we need to keep all the law breaker out .The fools that are in office in the white house now are stupid/they just want to bring the country down. We the people need to be smarter then they are.so let’s get to work at getting them out of office,ty

    • Sandra

About the illegals coming across our borders…they are fleecing America and laughing about it. Taking social security money, welfare, food stamps, jobs etc. I say boots on the ground and anyone seen crossing over if their ass isn’t back over in 3 seconds they’re buzzard food.

  • Billy F.

Ladies and Gentlemen? Vote for me. As president, I would study up on the countries constitutional laws between the election and the inaugeration. Then, once sworn in, I would begin my term by putting out many executive orders cancelling out all illegal executive orders that Obama and his regime put out. I would enlist the US Marshall service to arrest any and all government officials who committde treason against the People’s rights. My foreign policy would be America first, out truly loyal allies second, and if you mess with us, you will take the consequences. I would do my best to work with the Congress to get the country, economy, and imigration cleaned up once and for all. My tax idea is simple…..if the Holy Tithe is only a maximum of 10% of the gross; then taxes should only be a maximum of 9 % of the gross. I would only have a 9%, 9% tax for the whole country; leaving the sales tax in the hands of the states as it should be.

    • dennis

We should have a 3% tax on the $1.00 to $15,000 thousand dollar level/then go to 5 % until the $40,000 thousand dollar level and ten from that to $80,000 thousand dollars level whick will be 8%,and so on to be fair .That way all of the country will be able to say that they have paid there share.

WHAT IN THE HELL HAS OBUMMER DONE IN 2008 AND NOW HIS NEW BAILOUTS FOR HISPANICS AND HOMEOWNERS, HEY OBUMMER WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THIS SH*T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    P.S. YES I AM SHOUTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Waldodhc

Listen: As we consider THE best candidate–do NOT listen to the leftist media and their ilk! Compare the person with THE best conservative record. Conservative’s should NOT be afraid to be conservative! Don’t let others taint your mind with WHO the candidate is going to be, or why this person is worthy etc. Don’t get side tracked so easy with the lefts side shows and side issues! The media cronies are scared to death of conservatives. Why? Because the real conservative is a thinker–NOT a follower. The media wants followers, who will blindly elect a person of lefts choosing! That is why they emphasize democracy! Democracy are the mob in the view of the leftists! And what they do to control the “mob” are government programs that in debt the public to them! It is voter insurance! Dangle the golden carrot before the voter and then when they are about to grab the gold–yank it away from them with legislative law!

Oh yea, that is why all these debates are going on! The media is trying to formulate WHO the candidate will be or most likely to be! Let’s keep that to ourselves until the primaries get going full swing. Then let us speak at the polls based NOT on what media hype is, but nominating a candidate that most closely emulates the great principles written down by the founding fathers.

Do you know why the Dems and media hated Bush? Because he could beat them at their own game and win–and he did! Bush is an eternal enemy to the leftist movement–not because he particularly pointed out the Dems cheating in Florida–but that he would NOT lay down and cry uncle without a fight.

And that is what the media wants here–a candidate that will lay down and ALLOW the left to win! The media is trying to guide that process of who the Republican Presidential Candidate is going to be, so they can begin their media destruction policy on that person. Keep them guessing!

OBAMAinatation can’t win on the issue’s. As long as we keep “conservative issues” before the public, we will win. Why? Because really all we want is sanity put back in Washington! We want LESS government in our lives, LESS taxation, LESS of everything government wants to give. What governments role should be is protecting the people from the outside forces that want to destroy the American Dream Opportunity!

To accomplish the left’s agenda, they are NOT speaking to these issues. They can’t show the voters WHO they really are! That is why they never answer the hard accountability questions. So what do they do? They (the Dems) are employing class warfare, circumventing the legislative process, like they did with the Senate (and those people laid down very nicely for the BO Administration in the OBAMA CARE bill by saying nothing when Pelosi decared the OBAMA CARE bill passed by the senate and sent it to BO to be signed). That bill is so unconstitutional it is pathetic! It can NEVER muster past the Constitutional questions–NEVER. It is GOING to be repealed like Prohibition was back in the ’30′s. The BO Administration has intruded into the private sector to the point that people are getting enough of it! And it will be corrected next year!

So, let’s cool our jets and let the candidates go through the process. Listen carefully to what they say. Listen to how Presidential they are. Listen to WHO the fighters are! Let’s choose a candidate who is the best fighter, the most conservative and not the best candidate that is willing to lay down! Because we need a President that has governed, dealt with budgets, that will be strong before our enemies, and strength to our allies and friends, will NOT be fooled by the hapless left or tricked into doing something that will have huge ramifications down the road! That is how America got into this mess to begin with!

Stop! Analyze! Think! What candidate would be the best fighter, the most conservative, promote policies that will get America back on the right track, who would be the best person that promotes the family, American Exceptionalism, would promote the best conservative policies so we don’t have to worry about our children’s future or the future of the Republic. This is what we “need” to consider–then act on that analysis!

These are the qualities that I want to vote for in a President. Do not get into the blame game! What water has gone down stream–let it go. Let’s look to the future and promote these great conservative qualities!

  • Bev

If you listen to Romney’s explanations on these issues, you’d understand where his heart is and always has been. His 4 years as governor in a mostly liberal state government must’ve been very frustrating for him. He attempted vetos and their Legislature over ruled him. The media has exaggerated much on him.

I watched him save the SLC Olympics from a massive debt and turned it into a surplus. Same in Mass. Same with Dominos. He created Staples and many other successful businesses and 1,000′s of jobs. He is most qualified to save our country!!

Look at his 42 year happy marriage and successful sons with families. He’s
as conservative as they come with his religious convictions too.

  • Patti

I think Gingrich would be the best nominee with Cain, West or Rubio for VP

  • Bert Plansky

What does David Axelrod know about honesty? He is a Marxist! No Mitt for me either.

  • Dan

I’m not against Romney, but I’m not for him at this point either. I’m leary of someone who flip-flops, supports abortion at time in his life, opposes the right to bear arms at any time, and believes man has caused global warming. It tells me he is a RINO. It tells me he can be bought. The statement “I’m running for office” so he can’t hire illegals??? It’s the law Mitt!! And it’s what the American people want! Holding office is not about what YOU want, it’s about what is good for America, and what Americans want.

  • Dot

ANYBODY BUT OBAMA !!!!! Newt is the most intelligent of all and he is the right man
    for the job….. BUT….. I am afraid that won’t happen…

Anybody but Obama? Romney the flip-flopper? “Slick” is what I call Romney.
We have a chance to put a conservative in the White House andall the media can do is shove Romney at US! I’m not only pissed at the media for doing this, but even more pisse that the STUPID SHEEPLE follow the endless drivel that Romeny is the next “ONE”. aNOINED BY THE MEDIA, MAINSTREAM

  • Patriot 101

Anointed by the media, mainstream (establishment) Republicans both of whom seem to say outwardly “To *ell with the conservatives.” Conservatives will not “roll over” for a Romney or Perry. There will be a 3rd party candidate if either is the Republican nominee.

  • Southern Bell

I just wish they would do away with the electorial vote for each state and use real votes instead. That way seems like the votes would be counted and not just use so many for each state. To me, that just doesn’t sound right. One person, One vote.

  • http://yahoo Bill Senior

OK, OK ….. After reading many “Reply’s” of you folks trying to convince each other, who the “Best” GOP Candidate would be for the reasons you all stated.
Now, the fact is as a Presidential Candidate to run this Country from the Oval Office this is what is needed: A Business Man/Woman and a Politican! Why .. a Business Man/Woman? Well, he/she has to be an Entrepreneur and understands how to generate them. Why a Politician? Well, he/she needs to know the “workings” of Congress and Federal Government.
Sooooo who fills that criteria …. A Romney/Cain GOP Ticket – two (2) Businessmen and one (1) Politician … that would do it and surely plenty to beat Barack “Hussein” Obama in 2012!
Obama’s partial failure is … he was neither A Businessman or Real Politician, only a “Phony” and “Crook” promising “Change” which he had no idea of what he was doing or talking about!!!!!!! That proof is in his Presidency … to date!

  • Patriot

There’s something about Romney that makes him seem less than “presidential.” Perry is worse still, Bachmann, well you may not like it but we are dealing with middle Eastern countries who have no and I mean less than zero respect for women, although I doubt she would bow down to them like Obama did. Cain and Newt seem more presidential, but the thing about Newt’s wife and Tiffany’s jewelers tells me they will be monumental spenders and not in touch with the common working man. That leaves Cain. Elect him. Just because he is for a 9-9-9 plan doesn’t mean it will be enacted immediately upon him taking office. At least he is in touch with the economy and how to rebuild what has been lost or given away. Ron Paul would be my second choice.

  • http://yahoo Bill Senior

A Romney/Cain GOP Ticket/Team would be a great “Balance” in many ways and would get a wide spectrum of voters! Herman Cain would make an excellent VP … with his Business Knowledge and Background and surely be an asset to Mitt Romney and the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    A definite Winner over Obama/Biden!!!!!!!
You all know … Joe Biden – the NOTHING VP and lug’head!

I don’t like cut and run Romney or the former DemocRAT Perry who voted and helped Carter and Gore or Cain who is a Rhino and will put Muslims in his Cabinet (his Words) this leaves Ron Paul who has stood up to Congress and has held steady on what he believes and will Audit the Federal Reserve.

  • http://yahoo Bill Senior

Well, “One” thing for sure …..the USA has to get away from a “Total Politician” Preseident .. meaning someone who has done nothing but work in the Political Field their whole careeer – Town, State and Federal Governments! We have seen what a “Community Organizer” has done and “newer” than a Freshman Senator – Obummer/Odummer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Billy

If my choice is Romney or Perry only, I will just stay home. Face it. If we don’t elect someone that will close the border and throw out the illegal aliens, then we are doomed anyway. Might as well let Obama be in office when it happens. Then History will always reflect the Democrat Party as the down fall of the United States of America. Time to destroy their Marxist/Progressive ways forever, give them the rope to hang themselves with.

    • http://yahoo Bill Senior

Sorry … “Not at the United States Of America’s expense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
We’ll Gett’em …Obama and his Cronies, to hell out of there and we need to ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

    • http://' greenteeth

Billy you are right, perry and romney are just hexus waiting to happen. Newt pres Bachman vp. Both have what it will take to put rhis country back on the right track.

    • Spooky

NO! NO! NO! You can’t STAY HOME. You MUST VOTE for the republican candidate or obama will win. He is killing our country, and we CANNOT endure another four years or we will be finished. PLEASE – DON’T CONSIDER NOT VOTING!!!!!!!!

  • http://yahoo Bill Senior

Common …. Ron Paul doesn’t have a “snowball’s” chance in hell … to beat Obama!!!!!!!!!
Our most important goal here is to defeat …. OBummer/ODummer!!!!!!!!!!!!
He (Paul) also is a “Littleman” in everyway … sweaky, poor dresser, doesn’t appear very strong, weak on Military, wouldn’t fight if he had to, could almost substitute for a Liberal and the only way he’s leading his GOP Rivals is by “spending” on Charter Flights. He should have stayed a Physician but probably was not very good at that either, so tried to hide among the elites .. as a Politician.

  • Michael Peterson

God help us if it comes down to a choice between Obozo and Romney. We would just be trading one “big government piece of crap” for another. I for one am really tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. You can polish a turd but, in the end, you still have a turd.

    • Spooky

Michael – If that’s the way you feel – then at least vote for the one that loves this country and wants us to prosper. obama so obviously does NOT.

  • Journeybird

The ‘media’ want Romney. That should tell you all you need to know. Just like McCain was the darling in the last election until he was nominated and then they ‘rope-a-doped’ the hapless schlemiel and the inept, bungling campaign. If it hadn’t been for Palin, he would have been buried in a landslide.

This time, we have a chance to take away any ammunition from the Socialist Elite and their frontman. And that choice is obvious from the polls.

  • Paul

I noticed in the article Romney is listed as the front runner. Who says? All the media seems to ignore Herman Cain but the American people are not ignoring him. He resonates with us. I do not like all his ideas but I can live with those more than all the other candidates negatives. I like Michele but I think she does more good in the House than in the White House.

  • Ralph Moran

What I like about the Tea Party is we use our real names and not made up user names. This article was about Mitt Romney, no he is not the best we have. He is not the only one that can save us or beat the O. Like most politicians Mitt says what people want to hear. We don’t have much of a choice but get behind someone and support them. Our biggest problems are JOBS, SPENDING, ILLEGALS and HEALTHCARE. I get these ballots in the mail from different Republican party members and thy always ask the same things and if you are not a conservative you would vote the wrong way. They are so slanted and aimed at getting the correct answer, they mean nothing. Who ever gets the nomination should be held accountable for what he/she said and fired if they don’t do what they say. Fired by the people who put them in office, not the other side..

  • Patriot777

    greenteeth are you SERIOUS?
Nute or a progressive?? Might as well say unRepublican. A progressive is a sheep in wolves clothes. I call them RINO’s!!
Please if you are serious don’t vote. Nute is in the same club CFR as the Clintons, BO, Gore ect….
I Love his debates and what he says I just hate the fact that he is in the clubs. CFR ect..
Heaven help us if an establishment, club rooted, NWO driven person gets in.
Looking for a true American rooted Patriot not just anyone. Just Anyone = what we already have
sort of like Romneycare = Obamacare one in the same!

  • http://pointcom.com/MI/ John

Bill Senior, I’m with you on every post! I recomend everyone reads all of them. Go Romney/Cain 2012!

  • Mack

Romney will not win the Republican Nomination as everyone in the media is telling you. Romney is the establishment choice and the official RINO of the group (I would argue that Perry and Huntsman are RINOs as well). The stability of Romney’s numbers are actually a sign that he is in trouble. What it actually shows is that 20-25% of the Republican Party want a RINO in office. All of these voters are loyal to Romney already. 75% of the Republican party want a true conservative and they know that this is not Romney. It is the reason why Perry flew off the charts. Then, when everyone realized he wasn’t a real conservative (and kind of a little slow) he plummeted…but his votes didn’t go to Romney. The more conservative candidates are going to be slowly whittled down to one candidate and this one candidate will consolidate the conservative, non-establishment vote and will win the nomination in a landslide. The only way I can see Romney winning is if the conservative vote gets consolidated to someone who is then (after the other conservatives drop out) revealed to be more left than previously thought.

Now, Romney winning the nomination would be a disaster for conservatives. First, he has the WORST chance of beating Obama. He is a wall street financial CEO (seen as a weakness) who holds similar policies to Obama in many areas. He may be polling well now, but these weaknesses will eventually knock him down in popularity and demoralize a vast majority of Republican voters. One of our biggest strengths right now is voter enthusiasm. If a conservative wins, the enthusiasm will continue…equaling higher turnout. If Romney wins, our enthusiasm will drop and many people (not including me) will stay home.

If Romney does win the nomination and then does go on to beat Obama, all he will do is stop or slow down the rate of our country’s demise. Our country needs radical reformation and we therefore need someone who will radically reform this country. Even if he stops the destruction, he won’t cut programs and spending enough to take us from the precipice. Eventually another marxist will take power and will push us off (didn’t we learn our lesson from Carter?). The people will eventually forget. The left wants a Republican who will lull the conservatives to sleep until they can take over again. When they do, if we haven’t radically reformed our country (flat/fair tax, sound money, free economy-reduction of regulation, entitlement reform, etc.) we won’t survive the next revolutionary that gets in.

If you think Romney will do more than stop the bleeding…by all means vote for him, but I say all he will do is delay our demise. We need a real conservative.

  • Dee

No, not anybody but Obama. We need to study the candidates and make sure they will act in the people’s fav0r, follow the constitution, and truly work to turn this country around. Some of these candidates have made wrong choices. As a president a wrong choice can make us end up, well someplace like where we are at and probably much worse.

  • Doyal A. Patterson

I thjink that out of all that are running Newt Gingrich is the right man at this time ,he has the experience and know how the Government is ment to be run and would tear obooe a new (you know what) in a debate, and I think Perry would be a good running mate for newt, PERRY IS A GREAT GOVERNER.he knows how to create jobs and so does newt so I say they would be great in the Presidency and V.P. Then after 4 or possibly 8 yeaars Perry for president so the Republican party can look to 8 or maybe 16 yrs to straighten out the mess obomer has made

    • http://' greenteeth

You just about had it, until you said perry, Newt Bachman. Those are the two the GOP are not shoving down our throat, because they know they mean buisness. Perry already sold out to illegals, He only does what makes him popular. Romney sold out by oboma care. how can we start over if we keep half of the shi t?

  • Jim

Did you tape yourself 17 years ago and check today to be sure that you haven’t changed a thing?

It is not about the candidates’ views on specific issues. the question is ‘who can beat Obama by the greatest margin and also have the administrative ability to tackle the job of undoing Obamaism as soon as they walk into the Oval Office?’

The answer is Romney. All of the Republican candidates are good people, each with good ideas. This is not the time for ideas, but action. We know what the job is already. Romney is best for the job at this moment in time.

  • http://' greenteeth

    NO WAY

  • Qwyatt

I look at Romney like Mr. Loopner on SNL. He was born with no spine. He takes the side that the majority backs. Not bad, if that’s what you believe in. But he is willing to be tossed around by the political wind, and does not stand firm in anything. He does well with his handlers, but can’t stand on issues, as was exposed in the last debate. He goes everywhere. If he debated obama, he’d lose big time. Let’s face it, obama is chomping at the bit to get at Romney. They have all the facts on his flip-flopping. The debators that could make obama sweat are Ron Paul & Newt Gingrich. But, do we want the best Pres, or the best debator? We need both. I haven’t decided, but if Romney is the Repub. choice, I will look elsewhere. Romney is Obamalite.

  • Pauline W Smith

I’m not sure at this point which Rep candidate should be our next president. But all of us have
changed our minds and positions on things from time to time. That’s part of learning and growing.

  • Big Red

I like mitt/cain that sounds so reasonable and smart to me. Doesn’t to you?

  • Ann Giles

The 2002 Olympics was in shambles and they were considering not holding them. Mitt Romney was asked to deal with the mess that had been created. Long story short, Mr. Romney not only turned it around, but Utah still has all of the venues and they are being used and are available if there is ever a need to have a back up for the Olympics. At this time Utah is the only venue that could be a back up for future Olympics. He left a trust fund for the state. He took very good care of the volunteers who donated their time. When 9/11 happened he had 5 months to put together security. He put it together in such a way that all went smoothly. I understand that he left Massachusetts better than he found it, but all we hear about is the Health Care Plan the state initiated and flip flopping. I change my mind about things I have tried. Why are we not hearing about his accomplishments? Who am I going to vote for? I don’t know yet, but I am tired of the rhetoric that is over and over.

  • Mike

Romney has had 6 years to practice his talking points so he has them down pat. He is a good debater and that should stand him in good stead against the smooth talker. He is a little too RINOISH to suit me, but we may yet bring him around to the Conservative viewpoint. Compared do Mr. Reach Across the Aisle McCain, he looks pretty good. McCain actually said one of his heroes was Teddy Roosevelt, who was one of the first of the Progressive Presidents. Sorry, Teddy. Your philosophy was wrong back then and it is still wrong today.

  • http://conservativebyte.com mark

MITT ROMNEY IS A RINO so what do you think he will do as president ? give the libnut dumborats everything that they want.

  • Not A Farmer

I sure hope Romney and Perry are not the Republican going against Obama. I sure hope it will be Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain of Ron Paul.

  • Pamela

Seriously Newt is the only one of the people running for office who has thus-far done an even halfway decent job in the debates. He brings baggage with him, they all do. I can’t support Mitt, I can’t support Romney, they have lowered themselves all ready and are more focused on slamming each other than on sticking to the issues at hand. Newt has risen above all the nonsense thus far.
I would vote for Newt in a split second, will he win the nomination? No, we are too conditioned to fall for hype than to listen, think , and act intelligently for the betterment of our nation. Perry has backers tightly connected to the Bilds, Romney is what I dread the most a “moderate/liberal” dressed up to pretend to be a conservative. Ron Paul is seriously correct on many issues but totally clueless on others, Cain is the same as Ron Paul, and poor Mrs. Bachman started out on the right path and turned off at some point even though much of what she she stands for is still on track. We never learn, do we?

  • Sunshine

I SECOND IT! ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!

  • Ernie

While I detest the Obama administration for the head-long plunge into a Socialist police-state, we cannot take the Anybody but Obama attitude in 2012, not if we really want to see a return to conservative Constitutional government. We didn’t get to this point under any one party or President. We the People are also partly to blame for voting for the ‘lesser of two evils’ and not taking a more active and vocal role in our own government. No candidate is unelectable if we rally behind a true conservative and vote them into office.
