Dick Durbin says they don’t have the votes for Obama’s jobs bill in the Senate. They never were going to have the votes! They don’t ever intend to vote on this in the Senate. That’s not the point. This is a huge See, I Told You So on several counts. “On Tuesday, President Obama tried to keep pressure on Congress to consider his nearly $450 billion jobs bill, saying it had been two weeks since he sent the bill to Capitol Hill ‘and now I want it back. I want it back, passed, so I can sign this bill and start putting people back to work.'” So why have the Democrats delayed action?
