Outrage: $770 Million to Rebuild Mosques Overseas!

Americans also may be surprised to learn that the United States has been an active participant in mosque construction projects overseas. In April, U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania Alfonso E. Lenhardt helped cut the ribbon at the 12th-century Kizimkazi Mosque, which was refurbished with assistance from the United States under a program to preserve culturally significant buildings. The U.S. government also helped save the Amr Ebn El Aas Mosque in Cairo, which dates back to 642. The mosque’s namesake was the Muslim conqueror of Christian Egypt, who built the structure on the site where he had pitched his tent before doing battle with the country’s Byzantine rulers. For those who think the Ground Zero Mosque is an example of “Muslim triumphalism” glorifying conquest, the Amr Ebn El Aas Mosque is an example of such a monument – and one paid for with U.S. taxpayer funds.

The mosques being rebuilt by the United States are used for religious worship, which raises important First Amendment questions. U.S. taxpayer money should not be used to preserve and promote Islam, even abroad. In July 2009, the Office of the Inspector General published an audit of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) faith-based and community initiatives that examined whether government funds were being used for religious activities. The auditors found that while USAID was funding some religious activities, officials were “uncertain of whether such uses of Agency funding violate Agency regulations or the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution” when balanced against foreign-policy objectives.

The video you saw was edited out of context – Obama was being facetious when he said he was born in Kenya and if you find the original unedited video you will see what really happened. There is a group that does these things to be funny I guess, and they have done lots of videos like this. So be careful about calling people dumb. And if the house was to start the impeachment, how would you get Harry Reid and the Democrat controlled Senate to convict? It would be just another worthless effort like the Clinton impeachment.

The program was created by Congress in late 2000 under President Bill Clinton, and the first grants were announced under President George W. Bush in 2001. The State Department says that, in total, the fund has contributed nearly $26 million to approximately 640 cultural heritage sites in more than 100 countries, and more than half was given before Obama took office.

            It’s true that mosques are among the cultural sites that have received grant money under this program. But temples and churches around the world also have received funding.

            A SCOTUS justice can be recused two ways. The first is if the justice voluntarily recuses himself/herself for some reason. That justice is not required to state the reason but it is custom and respectful to the court to do so. The second method for recusal is if one of the parties in a case before the court officially requests a recusal for a specific reason. The request for recusal is decided before the case itself is decided. Even if recused, a justice might still be allowed to ask questions when the court listens to the case, but that justice will not vote.

If it wasn’t for defeat of the French at Puebla Mexico , the United States of America would never had the wherewithal to defeat the confederacy, many arms shipment that were being shipped to the Confederacy and being supplied by the French were stopped by general Ignacio Zargosa after the battle at Puebla Mexico, this bought enough time for the Union army to adequetly arm and mount the necesarry campaigns against the South. Aztlan is what we presently call the “American SouthWest” , this was the original homeland of “Mexica” people before Columbus and long before the Mayflower. The Mexica ( Mexican ) were living with the “Comanche” before the tribe of Mexica decided to migrate down to “Tenochtitlan” (Mexico city) Aztlan or the SouthWest of the U.S. of A. was the Northern kingdom of the “Mexica” and the “Comanches” were their Northern cousins we spoke the same language known as “Nahua.” I presently speak two foreign languages , one is English and the other is Spanish and am learning my original Comanche and Mexica language to know my true culture of origin even as I consider my self an “American.” Tried to get re-enlisted in the Army during “Desert Storm”, but they found ear damage from a grenade explosion in Vietnam. My uncles were in the invasion of Normandy, Utah and Omaha beach , several in the Pacific theater, my father served during WW-II and my grandfather on my father’s side was drafted during WW-I. I know may Comanche Mexican, Irish – Mexicans, English-Cheyenne, Ojibwe, Apache – Mexican – Hispancs, and many , many other tribal American Natives with the admixture of the European people who immigated to this country generations ago. Trying to single out the Hispanics as one people who are responsible for some of the major problems facing this nation is ridiculous and idiotic and racist not to mention unAmerican. I’am proud of who I’am and of this country and who made it so. I don’t point the accusing finger at any particular culture or ethnicity or race. I don’t like the fact that too many illegals are entering this country, but who is letting in the foreigners from across the ocean? and why? Why don’t we ask the original Native Americans what they think. Many American Hispanics who are in the millions are hard working Americans and will fight for this Nation in a heartbeat, many of us have been here since before the first boat people arrived ( Eroupeans and others ) More than Ethnic labels and accusations of races let us organize and realistically point the finger at those who call themselves leaders and politicians. There are more things that bind us together as human beings than divide us when the going gets tough and in emergencies we are more human than political, times are going to get tougher ecomically thanks to the corporate greedy, banks and bankers included, our enemies across the ocean and the extremests in this country would be happy to see us divide even more and to see what little holds us together continues t dissapate.

          It is strange that this topic came up because just today I received an email from someone that I posted to the Tea Party site that I belong to. Although I have covered this several times in my blog, here is the email I received and posted:

          This just will NOT go away. And rightfully so because Obama is NOT a citizen as required by our Constitution. I received this email an hour or so ago which shows that this particular thorn in the side of the DNC will not ever go away until it’s resolved.
          One thing that should be remembered is that Obama does not have to still be in office to resolve this issue. He can’t be impeached and tried on this now because the Marxists still control the Senate where the trial would take place, and they would only acquit him.
          However … after next years’ election and we see the democrats lose many seats in the Senate a trial could still be held even with him out of office and moved back to Kenya. Once found guilty, EVERYTHING he put his signature to including that disastrous obamacare would be invalid. Every appointment he made including Supreme Court appointees would be out of a job. Every case they ruled on would have to be re-heard. Every document his cabinet put their signatures to would also become invalid. Etc. etc. etc.

          I heard years ago that Snopes was a left-wing operation and found it odd that there was absolutely nothing negative to be found about Obama when he was running for President.

          It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn’t it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It all comes down to payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there.

            Tony, I too have suspected and found Snopes to be untrue. I went to their website about a post on Obama being Muslim and there only explanation for it not being true was that “Obama is not a Muslim”. They gave a source to prove that Obama goes to church, so when I tried to go to their source, it didn’t exist.

If the Republicans impeach in the House, it goes to Harry Reid and the Democrats in the Senate. Anybody out there really think Reid and the Democrats would actually convict Obama in a trial? Remember Bill Clinton lied to a Grand Jury and it was proven, but the Senate still refused to convict. If they tried Obama, they would acquit him also, and then the media would all say the evil Republicans did it because they hate him for being black. The additional sympathy votes would assure his reelection in 2012. Don’t think about charging him with a crime or having the Supreme Court do anything. With Eric Holder or any other Dem in the Attorney General office they would delay things until after the election (or forever). Just talk to everyone about the economy, unemployment, inflation, gas prices, etc., so we can defeat him in 2012.

I’m calling my representative tomorrow and also going to contact the members of the Budget Deficit Commitee as well as Ms. Clinton at State Dept. If I can’t observe my religious beliefs in my own country, I will not sit quietly by as this goes on. Please, everyone, contact these people.

      I just had a thought. We need to cut four trillion dollars from our debt. If we defund the United Nations ( $ 1.7 trillion ), aid to the Palestinians ( $ 550 million ), and stop rebuilding mosques ( $ 770 million ), that would save $ 3 trillion dollars. Then, if the ” Super Committee ” trims $ 1.5 trillion, our debt would be back to about $ 9 trillion. All we’d have to do then is get Harry Reid to allow the Senate to propose a budget, which they haven’t done in 3 years. Of course, if the House and Senate did come to an agreement, we’d then be concerned if the potus would sign it.

            Joyce, the last time I was in Mexico, I was on a tour bus and we passed a huge building and I asked the guide what it was. He said it was an empty prison because they could not afford to run it. But on the few occasions we put any illegals in prison, we spend lots of money to feed and take care of them. I read about one illegal who was studying law in prison so he would know what his “rights” are. Unreal, right?

I ask all my friends and family to do the same. I support, monetarily, those watchdog groups that are monitoring the situation. It takes alot of time and I barely have a life due to my constant search for truth and facts. I do not believe any one particular group or person saying something without giving me something more concrete. At times it becomes somewhat discouraging.     The ONLY Mosques that the USA should be helping to rebuild are those that we directly caused (bombing, errant rocket or drone, etc) damage to. If the damage was caused while pursuing enemy combatants who go there to hide, then no assistance should be given.
    I’m guessing that maybe $60 or 70 million tops; the remaining $700 million can go for retraining of jobless individuals and/or funding food pantries.

    “As you all know, Donald Trump made a big deal about Obama’s birth

    certificate.

    I will tell you right now that I had never given this “birther” issue

    any credit. I watched the hype and the crazies come out. I completely

    dismissed the entire ordeal altogether.

    in. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed

    place of birth is “Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital”.

    This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called

    “KauiKeolani Children’s Hospital” and “Kapi’olani Maternity Home”,

    respectively .

    The name did not change to Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital

    until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this particular

    name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name

    had not yet been applied to it until 1978?

    Go ahead, look it up. I am not talking crazy talk, these are the facts.

    Like I said, I thought that this was a non-issue until the actual

    certificate was released. Now that it has been released, of course I had

    to look into it. I have found these issues, now I know that something is

    The greatest threat we face today is not the economy. It is not our unemployment. Throughout history our country has endured recessions and even a depression, yet throughout history, we have always come back from those bad economic times.

    The greatest threat we face today is the threat of those that want to make Sharia, Islamic law, the law of the land.

    Before we can combat anything, let alone defeat it, we must first understand it. Let me make something very clear from the outset. I have been studying terrorism for over 35 years; I did not set out to become an expert on Islam or Sharia law. I wanted to learn about terrorism. My studies on the history of terrorism began with the Zealots and the Sicarii 5000 years ago and continued all the way to the 21 Century. Throughout history there have been many groups, cultures and nations that have used terror, but one thing continued to be a repeating, defining factor, Islam. I could care a less if all terrorists are purple with pink polka dots, but the fact is, today, terrorists are by far Muslim and I speak and teach on fact.

    I am not saying all Muslims are radical. I am saying there is no moderate Islam. There are plenty of Muslims who aren’t actively furthering the cause of jihad. But that doesn’t mean that there is a form of Islam that is peaceful and non-supremacist.

    Islam is a political theocracy with a religion wrapped inside it.

    Islam, that would be all “Muslims”, believe that all prophets from both the Old and New testaments were Muslim. This includes Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and even Jesus. Muslims believe that each and every person is born a Muslim and then the parents corrupt them with other religions or ideals.

    The literal translation of Sharia is path or path to water. ‘Šarīʿat Allāh’ (God’s Law), refers to the legal framework within which the public and private aspects of life are regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islamic principles of jurisprudence and for Muslims living outside the domain. Sharia deals with all aspects of day-to-day life, including politics, economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene, and social issues. Muslims do not believe in man-made laws. All laws come from Allah as is in the Sharia.

    Before we can understand Islam or Sharia law, we need to answer one very important question. Why? Why do they hate us? What did we do to offend the Muslim world? The reality is that Islamic radicalism started rising in 1928. In 1928 the Muslim brotherhood, the oldest Islamic terrorist organization in the world was founded in Egypt. In 1928 we did not even have a foreign policy that was in support of Israel, because Israel was not even in existence. People believe it is because of our support for Israel, Bush’s Foreign policies and we’re on Arab soil. This is false; one only has to look at the formation of radical Islam. So if isn’t our foreign policy or our support for Israel, what is it? Why was the Muslim Brotherhood formed in 1928? In order to understand it you have to understand the history of Islam. You have to understand the life of the prophet Mohammed and his teachings; you have to understand the books of the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sura. Unfortunately most people don’t understand the religion. You’d be hard pressed to get someone to read the bible, let alone the Quran.

    The Islamic Empire, also known as the Ottoman Empire ended between 1922 and 1924. 1924 is also when the President of Turkey, President Ataturk gave women the right to vote after he became President, he gave women the right not to wear the Hijab, he gave women the right to get an education, he gave women the right to marry who they want and how they want to live their lives. The Muslims throughout the world called him the “Jewish Agent” because they believed his mother was Jewish and that was what influenced his life. So, the Islamic Empire ended in 1924, less than 100 years ago. Most people do not know history; they think of WWII as ancient history.

    After Ataturk ended the Islamic Empire, only 5 years later a group of Muslims in Egypt, were feeling so humiliated, how could Judaism and Christianity liberate itself from Islam? After all, Islam is superior to all other religions, after all Muslims are superior to all other people; they founded the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928 to bring back the Islamic Empire. That is what started Radical Islam on the rise.

    The Muslim Brotherhood today is the oldest terrorist organization in the world with over 70 offshoot terror organizations including al-Qaida and Hamas. The second in charge of al-Qaida, Amin al Zawahiri was one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt before he joined al-Qaida. This is what most people don’t realize, they think, oh, if we just eliminate al-Qaida all of our problems are going to be solved. Our problem is not going to be solved, because our problem is a radical Islamic ideology wrapped in religion that is rising all over the world to bring back an Islamic Empire that was intolerant of all other people and that is what we are truly fighting today.

    The MB is so organized and focused that in 1982 the MB wrote a plan, a 100 year plan to infiltrate and dominate the west and establish an Islamic government on earth. In the counter terrorism circles this plan is known as the “project”. What makes the project so concerning is because it gives tactics and proposals for the MB and different Islamic organizations as to how to infiltrate the west and how to establish an Islamic government on earth, part of their plan is how to get democratically elected Muslims on all levels of government in the west in order to influence policy and advance Islam. They talk about how to set up different Islamic organizations, human rights organizations, and civil rights organizations in order to advance Islam in the west. They talk about how to maintain the appearance of moderation in order to advance Islam in the west, they talk about how to work with like-minded organizations, progressive organizations that share similar goals and this is why we see for example the ACLU working with CAIR (Council on American and Islamic Relations) The ACLU is being used by groups like CAIR who are basically the propaganda arm of Hamas in the US, in order to advance Islam in the US.

    This is the MB document, the “project” that was submitted into evidence in Dallas, TX in the Holy Land Foundation trial from 2007, 2008. On the last page is a list of all the organizations that would be working in the US as an arm of the MB, it lists 29 different organizations which include the ISNA (the Islamic Society of North America) and The MSA (the Muslim Student Association), to give you an example, the MSA has more chapters on American College campuses then the Democratic and Republican parties combined.

    The Motto of the Muslim Brotherhood is:

    - Allah is our objective.
    - The Prophet is our leader.
    - Qur’an is our law.
    - Jihad is our way.
    - Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

    The Muslim Brotherhood own statement “the MB must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is…

    Yes, The MB, the organization that our own government just recognized in June of this year.

    Our government has been infiltrated along with the Pentagon, the FBI, the CIA, the State Department, including the White House. This is not my opinion, but fact stated by many others including Islamic Imams and scholars.

    At his very hour, ten years ago today, Flights 11 and 175 had already hit the towers and the towers along with those inside became rubble and ash leaving 2606 dead at the WTC, 87 dead on AA flight 11 and 60 dead on United flight 175.

    AA Flight 77 had already crashed in to the Pentagon leaving 125 dead along with 59 dead on the plane.

    United 93 had gone down in Shanksville PA leaving 40 dead, total number of those murdered was 2977. 9/11 was not a tragedy, it was an act of war.

    I came back to the U.S. From Israel in 1981, long before most people had ever heard the words “Jihad”, “Sharia” and for many, even the word “Islam”.

    During that same year while interviewing with FBI, the interviewer laughed at the objective on my resume;

    Short term objective: to secure employment in law enforcement
    Long term objective: to specialize in anti-terrorism

    While laughing he said to me,

    “This is America, we don’t have terrorism!”

    I told him to wait ten years and remember the word “Jihad”.

    I was only off by two years, not bad for off the top of my head, the 1993 World Trade Center bombing was the first real Islamic terrorism to come to the shores of America.

    It was obvious to me that sooner, rather than later, America would be just another statistic in the long list of countries to experience terrorism, but I had no idea that the scale of one planned attack would be so severe and devastating. Unfortunately, neither did those tasked with our National security.

    Since 9/11/2001 I have written many an article and given many a lecture on our national security, creeping Sharia, terror cells within the U.S. and the overall politically correct climate that concerns all the afore mentioned.

    What is most depressing is that we as a nation have not gone forward in combating any of these things; we have, if anything, gone backwards.

    Week in and week out I write about anti-Semitism being on the rise not only here in America, but throughout the world while the Muslims scream they are the victims.

    Yes, somehow, the Muslims are always the victims now; it probably would be a case where they scream “Islamophobia” such as in the recent case at the Playland Park in NY over a safety rule that prevented Muslim women from going on some of the rides while wearing their religious head scarves. Hello? Do we need to draw you a picture of what can happen if your head scarf gets hung up while on a ride such as a roller coaster?

    Israel, our only true ally in the Middle East has been shunned by the current administration. Also, let’s not forget how Obama has told Israel they need to go back to the indefensible 1949 (not the 1967) lines in order to appease the so called Palestinians.

    The gaping whole known as our southern borders have become a free entrance to anyone wanting to do us harm with border patrol officials admitting that only one in five are caught.

    A 2006 congressional report on border threats, titled “A Line in the Sand: Confronting the Threat at the Southwest Border”, was prepared by the House Committee on Homeland Security Subcommittee on Investigations, it indicated that illegals are coming in from Afghanistan, Iran, Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, Yemen along with members of Hezbollah.

    The mosque at ground zero is still a go; of course that is not its name. It will be known as the “Cordoba mosque”, no, wait it changed to the “Cordoba house”, no, wait it changed to a civic center, no a cultural center, no, now it’s going to be called “Park 51″.

    It sounds less intrusive that way and of course, it’s much more PC to call it the Park 51 Cultural Center, then a mosque, after all, a mosque is where all 19 hijackers were indoctrinated and heard the Jihad rant of “death to America”.

    Sharia courts have sprung up in Texas and Christians have been arrested in Dearborn, MI for… Being Christians.

    Many states have attempted to pass laws outlawing or banning the use of Sharia law when judges decide cases in their states, but of course as we all know Sharia can’t happen here because it is incompatible with our Constitution.

    However, for some reason, even though it can never ever happen here and Muslim organizations such as CAIR keep reassuring us of that, they file suit each and every time to make sure these laws never see the light of day.

    Honor killings not only continue to happen, but are downgraded from first degree murder and yes, in one case even ruled a suicide. Darn that Fatima Abdullah for banging her head on a coffee table until she was dead.

    A Muslim woman that was raped, imprisoned, and assaulted by her Muslim husband, who admitted to all this, was heard and decided upon in New Jersey Superior Court, the Judge who found the husband “not guilty” stated as follows,

    “This court does not feel that, under the circumstances, that this defendant had a criminal desire to or intent to sexually assault or to sexually contact the plaintiff when he did. The court believes that he was operating under his belief that it is, as the husband, his desire to have sex when and whether he wanted to, was something that was consistent with his practices and it was something that was not prohibited.”

    Luckily, this case was overturned by the appellate court, with the appellate court saying,

    “…the Judge was mistaken”. Really? Mistaken?

    Currently there are at least 35 known camps in the U.S. that are actively teaching jihad ideology and paramilitary training. Terror camps within our own borders. To quote my friend and colleague Erick Stakelbeck, from his book “The Terrorist Next Door” page 71,

    “Muslims of America, according to a 2006 Department of Justice report, has some 3000 members nationwide and operates up to 35 such compounds in rural areas across 19 states, including Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.”

    Hundreds of mosques throughout the U.S. are teaching that same anti-American jihad ideology as documented throughout the entire book “Muslim Mafia” by Dave Gaubatz. Investigators worked undercover for two years, some of whom even worked within CAIR headquarters as interns to bring forth proof of what mosques and Muslim Organizations in the U.S. are accomplishing in their fight to Islamize America right under our politically correct noses.

    What’s more is that the number of mosques in the U.S. has more than doubled in the last ten years. What exactly is being preached inside these buildings that are part of the “religion of peace”?

    As of today there have been 17,720 deadly terrorist acts all in the name of “Allah” or “the religion of peace” since September 11, 2001.

    The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) has spent billions of dollars to create beautiful window dressings to make the flying public feel safe while in reality we are less safe than prior to 9/11 according to pilots as well as security experts. In the article also by Dave Gaubatz, “A Retired Airline Pilot Speaks Out on Airline Security,” a pilot interviewed stated,

    “In reality, our airlines are not safer for our families. They are more vulnerable to attack and infiltration than prior to 9/11.”

    “Enhanced pat downs” have done more for late night comedians than for the traveling public. Two weeks ago I flew out of LaGuardia airport in New York and went through nothing more than a basic metal detector, no pat down, no backscatter scanners, and no wand. On the other hand, people have accused TSA of molestation and sexual assault.

    Recently an award winning chef admitted he had accidentally flown with four large knives in his carryon bag out of Chicago. In March TSA somehow missed a bag with three box cutters that fell out of a man’s carry on once he was on the plane and this past November, Adam Savage the host of Mythbusters reported that he accidentally managed to get 12 ” razor blades through airport security. So much for that enhanced security.

    In 2010 when Obama introduced his National Security Strategy the words “Radical Islam,”” terrorism” and “Jihadist” were removed from all national security documents and our administration said we are no longer at war with terrorists. John Brennan, the Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, and Assistant to the President stated,

    “The President’s strategy is absolutely clear about the threat we face. Our enemy is not ‘terrorism’ because terrorism is but a tactic. Our enemy is not ‘terror’ because terror is a state of mind and as Americans we refuse to live in fear. Nor do we describe our enemy as ‘jihadists’ or ‘Islamists’ because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenant of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one’s community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children.”

    Just after Nidal Hassan, the Fort Hood shooter, gunned down 13 fellow soldiers in cold blood while screaming “Allah Akbar” (14 actually died since 21 year old Francheska Velez was 3 months pregnant) President Obama was quicker to react to those calling the Foot Hood shooting terrorism than he is at picking up his golf clubs. He stated,

    “We don’t know all the answers yet and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts.”

    The warning signs were blatantly ignored due to fear of repercussions and not being politically correct as now admitted by many who knew Nidal Hassan and his radical Islamic views. The NY Daily News reported in January 2010,

    A senior White House official likened the failure to connect the dots on Hasan’s erratic behavior and affinity for radical Islam to the intelligence breakdowns that led to the Christmas Day underwear bomber incident over Detroit.

    I have stated since 9/11 over and over again that “political correctness would be the death of America”, it certainly was partially responsible for those that died at Foot Hood.

    The Obama administration has had almost more “Muslim Outreach Programs” than Obama has had vacations. During one such program the FBI allowed a known Hamas operative into a six week program that included tours of top-secret areas of our National Counterterrorism Center, after that came to light, the FBI attempted to deny it ever happened.

    Political correctness has all but done away with the word “God”, and Allah forbid you so much as even think about saying a prayer at the tenth anniversary 9/11 Memorial service.

    The Ground Zero Cross may not be allowed at the Memorial/museum either as there is a lawsuit trying to keep it from being there as explained by the Washington Post,

    The group actually claims that its members are experiencing “dyspepsia [upset stomach], symptoms of depression, headaches, anxiety, and mental pain and anguish,” not from the devastating destruction of life caused by the terrorists on 9/11, but as a “direct and proximate result of the unconstitutional existence of the cross.” That’s not a line from a blog post, a press release, or a fundraising letter; that is the actual legal argument presented by the American Atheists in their complaint.

    Yes we have come a long, long way in the last ten years; it makes me wonder what our money ten years from now will have printed on it, perhaps, “One nation under Allah”?

    Please people, for the sake of conservatives, don’t believe everything you read on this site. I just read an article that had been posted before, numerous times, years ago, about the mosques. I’m a conservative, and as such, I don’t want a site that posts bogus information to form our opinions. Come on, the info on the same number of Mosques posted from several years back. We need to fight the other side with facts not made up fiction this that does nothing but give incentives to our beliefs.

    I think this site owes us huge explanations for why they recycle old news like it was new news.

They have set the precidences and opened the door for equal funding and outreach through federal organizations and state agencies. So let the games begin. I urge every Christian, church and patriot to push for absolute and equal support, funding and legalization of every Christian practice, observance, structure, posting of Christian sayings and images on no less than an equal and equally public display afforded to all Muslim Islamic beneficiaries. If the federal government starts crying about being broke and unable to do the same for the Christians and the Jews as well as any other religions out there, such as those practiced by the American Indians. I say to f’n bad. They have been supporting the Muslim Islamist butchers who are trying to destroy us and continue to do so even now that our government is supposedly broke. If this has not stopped obama and his radical criminal regime, then they should be made to provide support and funding for each religion equal to what has already been provided to the Muslims, including full federal outreach support. And they should be forced to match dollar-for-dollar and support and outreach provided to the Muslims with equal benefit for each of the other religions in full and in each and every way provided to the Muslims. But it does have everything to do with the religious intollerance of obama and the federal government, unequal and preferential protection under the law, unequal and preferential support of one supposed religion that in truth can be proven to be working to subvert, undermine and destroy our republic, while these same government officials and agencies help to undermine, subvert and destroy all other religions with special emphasis on the Christian churches and Hebrew temples. If anyone should doubt this, then lets reverse the tables and put the Islamists on the recieving end of the exact same treatment the Hebrews and the Christian Churches are currently receiving and let the Hebrews and the Christians begin recieving the same as the Muslim Islamists are currently receiving. Then lets take tax dollars to promote Christianity and the Hebrew faith around the world while funding the errection of Christian Churches and Hebrew temples, especially in places that could be construed as a kind of show of victory for these religions where the local people would naturally be offended. Then as a further, but in no way final act, we can expel or prosecute or maybe even do both wherever any child or teacher dares to utter any word or prayer from the Quaran, display a prayer rug or writings of Mohammad, or fire and maybe even prosecute Islamic police officers and public officials for not attending church in a Christian Church or Hebrew temple on days when their offices are celebrating diversity or involved in programs designed to reach out to the community.     I stopped reading the responses after the first two, because the insanity of the responses were hilarious and sadly missing relevant facts. The first of which, this practice of rebuilding mosques began under the previous president. That would be George W Bush. Of course, you folks wouldn’t know this because facts aren’t your strong suit.

    Of course, in your urgency to blame Obama you people are forgetting another important fact. If Obama is spending the money, it was the congress lead by Republicans that voted in favor of the legislation to spend said monies on rebuilding mosques.

    One last thing to think about. (I know, this is something that many here don’t do well.) The US government is practicing what is often referred to as “winning the hearts and minds.” You see, rebuilding mosques is excellent PR against the muslim extremists who say that the US is fighting a war against Islam. Of course, reading the responses here, it is clear that some would like to kill all muslims in the way that Hitler wanted to kill all the jews.

    Sadly most here respond to this with the mindlessness of Pavlov’s dog responding to the ringing of a bell.

This is OUR Country founded by the principles of GOD’S WORD and the 10 COMMANDMENTS. Anyone that does not like these concepts of our founding Fathers can pack their bags and go to where ever they want to.     Somethings to think about!
    When I was a little boy my mother would read me, different stories from the bible they were interesting stories, but as I grew older I discovered that those stories were not just stories, they were incidents that actually happened. As I grew older I discovered that there were things still coming true in my life time that were written about thousands of years ago. One of the stories that really bothered me most was about this group or family of people that were scattered all around the world and would eventually get together and form a tiny nation called Israel. The stories in the bible also told us where this nation would be located. The story is told to that this tiny nation would grow and prosper, but that the mighty armies of the world would rise up, gather together and attacked this tiny nation. The bible said, this tiny nation would have to stand alone. In my mind I always said no way. I am an American and I am familiar with the American way of life. I know that America always has and always will defend the people in countries that are unfairly put up on or attack. That action is just part of our Christian heritage and our way of life, it is part of our makeup. The thing that I didn’t realize until recently, (and I am now 76 years old) is that America is not mentioned in the bible. Could it be that because America had turned its back on the triune god and his moral laws, the teaching of the bible, forbidding its people to pray, taken down god’s laws (the 10 commandments) from our public buildings, public schools and other places of prominence that there will no longer be an America? Are America’s elected government officials slowly (or not so slowly) subverting America to a Communist, Marxist, Socialists, or Islamic ideals like the rest of the world. Will we decrease our military forces, which we have used so unselfishly in the past to protect the free world? Will we scuttle an outstanding space program that has done so much research, and given this country or the world for that matter a so much more advanced than better way of life? My mother also read me the last story in the bible where it tells how were all going crazy, following the devil with the illegal and immoral and anti-christian activities. The story ends with Jesus Christ who has promised to save each of us who believe in him, and follow him and have faith in him to come back to earth with his saints and save it (in its last hours) from our destruction. He said with our help we will clean it up, fix it up and get it ready for the next thousand years. Those of you who are not to sure about this story, just wait a hundred years, and you’ll know for darn sure. Dale P.S. It’s not a bad idea to pray too, as long as it is to the right God.

    As a “non-American” [I do not live in America or have a heritage from the geographical part of the land mass commonly called the United Staes of America] I will apologize first for having the effrontery to criticise your nation, but I found myself pretty amazed at some of the sentiments expressed by some of your correspondents. It reminded me of an incident many years ago, in a place outside of the US of A, at a company get together to remember 9/11. One of the sentiments expressed by a very tearful “American” girl, whose heritage was Native American Indian [i.e. long before any of the white Anglo Saxon / Europeans hit the American soil], was “Why do they hate us so much?”. At the time I did not like to answer her truthfully for fear of upsetting her more and because the ocassion did not merit it. However, coming across the article and responses just by chance I felt moved to recall that incident and throw my non-American “two cents worth” into your mixed bag. I think some of the sentiments expressed in mails responding to the original article quite clearly show why so many people all around the world, including the very people some of your correspondents talk about that live in America, clearly answer that girl’s question. Some of these so-called patriotic Americans really take your concept of free speech to the limit. Free speech, as probably intended by your founding fathers, does not mean that you have this inalienable right to throw religious and racist abuse (and lies) at whatever or whoever you like. And no matter what you guys say, some of it is racist abuse. Why don’t you look at yourselves inwardly for a change and really wonder why America is considered “the evil Satan, the corporate raider, the colonisers, the invaders, the racists, the greedy parasites”, and all the other epithets that are thrown around worldwide to describe your country. America as it is today makes up one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse nations on earth. It is this very diversity which makes America great and without all this huge diversity yiour nation would never have been built. It was mostly built by “foreigners”- English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, Germans, Poles, Hungarians, Italians, Eastern Europeans, Spaniards, Scandinavians, Russians, Polynesians, Africans, Japanese, Chinese, South Americans, Native Indians, Australians, and citizens from almost every nation on earth had a hand in shaping your nation. And these people were multi religious – Jews, Christians, Protestants, Hindus, Shinto, Atheist, Agnostic, and some Muslims too. Your resource wealth would have been useless, it would have stayed in the ground, or stayed in the minds of these peoples, if they had all stayed at home. These different peoples had a dream – albeit one that may have been self-centred and selfish – but they had that and followed that dream in the land of opportunity called America. And it is this very diversity that you should all embrace and maybe this will make you a true nation instead of a conglomeration of little ethnic, religious and financial islands. In fact the UNITED states of America is one of world’s great misnomers. You are probably the worst example of any groups of people pretending to be united. From my knowledge of the USA I have always pointed out to people that the history and culture and landscape and variety of the nation, and all its facets, make it possibly the best place on earth, but also the worst. Remember a huge majority of your citizens derived from other nations and not that long ago in historical terms. Which of you has the right to curse and berate those citizens whose ethnic background is a different nation from the one you came from. With the sort of religious and racist abuse being thrown so casually around by your correspondents it is no wonder that you have so many problems at home and abroad. Maybe if you treated all your citizens equally, and also tried to understand the citizens of the world and thir beliefs and culture, maybe you would succeed with “Hearts and Minds”. And I do not for one minute accept that all the abuse America gets is valid or right (in fact I am a great defender of the USA as one of the few nations who are prepared to fight evil in the world just because it is evil) but you guys need to get your act together at home and be one nation of all races, creeds, colour and persuasion. Educate yourselves and think – listen to others point of view. Don’t turn you back on others because they do not conform to your blinkered view of the world. Support the good leaders and shun those bigoted ones. Understand Islam (true Islam) – don’t just throw all the terrorists into the category of Muslim (I am not a Muslim by the way). Find out what your Christian or Jewish neighbour really thinks. Talk and listen. Don’t accept all the tripe you hear on television or in the newspapers. They are there to make money not to truly inform. Inform yourself. And God Bless America because you sure need it.

    This is mixing church and state. Our federal government doesn’t even get involved in nor fund the rebuilding of churches or other religeous buildings in America. Even if this is being done in the name of historical preservation, I still fail to see why this funding should be the responsibility of Amercian taxpayers. There are all kinds of secular organizations around the world that fund the preservation of history and it’s landmarks. Muslims need to spend their billions on rebuilding their OWN mosques instead of funding their terrorist, extremist jihad.
