Obama’s Job Czar Sends American Jobs To China

The man Obama chose to help create new jobs in America is Jeff Immelt, CEO of General Electric. GE was recently in the public spotlight for not paying a cent of taxes, and now in an even more ironic twist, he’s sending American jobs to China.

In a recent announcement, GE said it is moving the company’s headquarters in charge of X-Ray technology to China. In an effort to increase sales to the giant Asian nation, and cut costs in the process, the largest manufacturer of imaging machines in the world is closing its US headquarters after 115 years. Until now, GE’s X-ray business was headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

“A handful” of top managers will move to the Chinese capital and there won’t be any job cuts, Anne LeGrand, vice president and general manager of X-ray for GE Healthcare, said in an interview. The headquarters will move from Waukesha, Wisconsin, amid a broader parent-company plan to invest about $2 billion across China, including opening six “customer innovation” and development centers.

          I have avoided GE for years. Those curly bulbs take to long to warm up and don’t think they last that long anyway. I have had to change several where I put them in hard places. No more!!!

            Not to mention, you are not suppose to throw them out, thanks to the mercury. THAT makes them hazardous in any house with kids. Also you can not use CFL’s in most electronic devices like photocells & motion sensor switches. they won’t work properly.

            I have been stock piling 40, 60, and 75 watt light bulbs for about two years now. Last count i had 500 -40 watt
            450- 60 watt and 400 75 watt bulbs. Unless the law is changed before 2014, I am going to keep stocking them up.

          I understand the state of Texas will be manufacturing incandescent bulbs – Not OBAMA-BULBS! Regardless of the Federal mandate to buy the mercury laden pig tail obama bulb.           Kathae: Very few light bulbs are made in the United States anymore. Phillips makes some 60 watt, and less bulbs, but the 75, and 100 watt bulbs are made in China as well. Make sure you hoard 100 watt bulbs, they are going to be the first ones to disappear, and if they are Chinese, they’re Chinese.
          It’s absolutely nuts that America can’t even make a simple incandescent light anymore, but right now, that’s the way it is. Hopefully we will be able to hide our stashes of incandescent bulbs in a place where the “Light Bulb Police” won’t find them. Maybe we’ll have to bury them in the woods, and retrieve them when their needed!

          I agree 100%!!!!! I hate those things!! Plus when they burn out you are not supposed to just throw them away but take them to a special place for disposal. These things are the craziest things I have ever seen. I plan to stock up on the regular light bulbs before you can no longer get them. The government is taking away our freedoms one by one.

Thousands of GE employees process and service those GE products in America that were made in China. I don’t think you would buy an American made Refrigerator that costs 3 to 4 K. Thats why no appliances are being made in America costs of materials and labor. In other words UNIONS ! You want to blame someone blame unions! The states that have such a law actually have a lot more jobs available for their citizens. They’re good jobs too. UNIONS abuse all of us.             It’s not only union wages, benefits and work rules chasing companies out of the US. Actually, union labor is the least part of what makes stateside company’s manufacturing costs too high to compete. The biggest expenses are all government generated. Corporate taxes, environmental regulations, OSHA, other unnnessary regulations. Reign in those and companies will be flocking back to the US. Foreign companies too.

            The EPA needs to be eliminated. It has forced American manufacturing jobs overseas for the past 10 years or more, where polution regulations are minimum or non exsistent. So Americans are losing jobs and importing finished goods from countries that polute 10 – 20 times that if the products were manufactured in the US. The words are “Global Pollution” and the US and the EPA are contributing to global pollution ‘big time’. So where are the jobs? Not here in the US anymore.

            Hell, everything I picked up and turned over in a visit to an IKEA store recently was mad in China. EVERYTHING, without exception.

            I told people 30 years ago that if they kept buying foreign goods that the time would come when there would be very few products made in America. They laughed and said that will never happen. Well, guess what the time has come and now people are waking up………..after the fact!

            It is not the greed of the corporate executives, it is their desire to keep their companies alive in a world market that competes on economic scales set by labor in and work laws in countries like China, Korea, Mexico, India, etc.

            Again, it is NOT the CEO’s to blame it is Government Regulations that stifle the ability of American business to compete on a global scale.

            America still leads in the market place of ideas and innovation, it is just that we take those great ideas and have them manufactured in other countries. Conservatives when they win back the White House and Senate MUST show leadership in this area by pulling

          That’s the smartest comment I’ve read all day. CEO’s are traitors to the American workforce. And Rick Perry is no better. He enticed companies, from other states in our nation, with tax breaks and deregulation so they’d move their jobs to Texas.

          Yes, Texas has been having the most job growth over the past several years but those jobs come at a higher cost. They pay at or below minimum wage. Many of them were government jobs so apparently Perry is big on expanding government. Workers have to have two or three jobs just to support their families because the wages on his ‘job creation’ are so low. That leaves little to no time to spend with family so what happens to our family values if we don’t even get to see the family we value?

          Not to mention those jobs were good paying jobs from other states. Now they’re low paying jobs in Texas and we all know earners making income at poverty level don’t pay taxes. So how will that help bring down the deficit?

            Ford didn’t take any bail out money because they were ahead of the curve. Prior to the crash Ford went through a drastic downsize. In my area alone the they closed 4 of the five dealerships. One closure even involved Ford Finance repossessing all of the new cars off of one dealer’s lot. I was kinda pissed at have to drive 2 towns over to get parts for my moms Windstar because they closed my local dealer. But it wasn’t till after the crash that I stepped back and said I wish I had Ford’s crystal ball. True Ford got private financing. Because Ford had down sized ahead of time Ford’s problems were not as big as GM’s and MOPAR’s and qualified them for loans on the free market. I haven’t been much of a Ford fan and all my recent new cars have been Toyota’s and Dodges. Mom owned 2 Windstars in a row and the only problems I had was some electrical things and a cracked plastic intake manifold. Had 3 Caravans in a row and I can honestly say ” I can change a Caravan drive axle in under 30 minutes on the side of the road” Had a Toyota Corolla. Bought it from a tow yard lien sale for $150. Wife drove it for 4 years to her new job. Then we put down cash on a new Toyota Scion X-A. At the same time a cousin was going through a divorce and someone stole and trashed her Toyota. Toyota wouldn’t take the Corolla as a trade in so I gave it to my cousin so she had something to drive the kids around and get to work. She drove it for a few years and when the tranny started to slip she turned it in to the state cash for clunkers program and got $600. Only one thing to say about the Scion. Wish I had never traded it in on a new Dodge. After the Scion the Durango didn’t give us any problems except for the dealer doing everything they could get out of doing the pre paid maintenance program. Almost ended up upside down on it. So I traded it in on a Dodge RAM 1500 crew cab. It was a REPO with only a 1000 miles on it. Got such a good price that after combining the left overs from the Durango that the loan pay down will stay ahead of depreciation all the way to the end. Three years from now? With the present direction of government intervention in the automotive industry I will probably ride the RAM pick up till the wheels fall off. If I do start thinking new it will probably be Ford. Just because they were smart enough to take the bitter medicine instead of having to bite the bullet during the crash.

          Squeak, I agree. I don’t know about you, but I am hoping Herman Cain becomes the president. I firmly believe that he will be another Ronald Reagan. The country doesn’t really know Herman, like we do in the Southeast, but after the Primary’s are over, the rest of the country will see it.

          Herman is a highly qualified, SMALL BUSINESS man, and a proven problem solver. He also is not a politician, and is a proven constutionalist. Keep your eyes open this next year, and you will see what I mean.

            I’m not decided about anyone at this point but Cain is a business man and a manager and that IS what we need. He is weak on foreign policy but a really good manager is a good judge of who to put in charge and he doesn’t have to be an expert on everything just find people who are and keep an eye on how they are doing their jobs. He may not make pizza crust himself but he hired cooks who can. Same thing. We need a commonsense manager. All we have right now is a narcissistic egomaniac.

            I agree that Cain would make a great president. This country is a business and needs someone with some business savvy running it. No president knows everything about everything (ie: foreign policy, etc..) – they just need to surround themselves with good people who will advise them.

          I don’t think that’s the smartest thing to do. Just vote republican whoever it is? Not a good idea. It’s better to be well informed on their record. Find the candidates that speak to your principles. If you think corporations that ship good jobs overseas should not be rewarded for doing so, find the candidate that agrees and will do something to curtail this phenomenon. If you believe corporations making profits in the billions annually should put some skin in the game then vote for the politician that has a plan to make that happen. But whatever you do, don’t just vote for the name with the R followed behind it. You may have voters remorse.

You know, ole Keruchev ( or however you spell it) the 60′s Russian head dude had the then famous phrase of ” We will bury you” speaking of the U.S. Wellllllllll….it looks like he was right about one thing,,,, this THING that now lives in the White House is going to do what our enemy of the cold war couldn’t…..bury us. I can’t believe this is happening. When I was drafted in 67, I was 19 yr. old, scared out of my mind and never felt so desperate. But, like my family, I had the encouragement of pride to serve my country, being told by the Government that I was called to preserve the Union. After 14.5 months in Viet Nam, one eye, one testical, a good sized portion of my leg and a partial spine later I came home. Every night I go to bed and awake in the morning,, totally bewildered at the condition we have allowed our country to sink to. Sick at what I had to go through those many years ago, live with and have lived with for the past 43 years and this is what my beloved Country has become. May God have mercy on us that still hold our Constitution and values I once fought for, that this country was founded on. To all the rest of those blind, walking dead, sheeple……May God Damn them for what they are and what they have done to My Country.

After inauguration there will be a movement calling for the repeal of the 22nd amendment, eliminating term limits for the president. That amendment will be sent to the states LONG before a balanced budget amendment is sent.

        Although I don’t like Jeff Immelt as CEO of GE, and I sure as hell don’t like Obama! But I don’t see what good will come as a result of boycotting GE Products. There are so many different divisions within the General Electric Company that provide jobs for thousands of Americans and it would be a shame to see these divisions close their doors because of lack of sales.
        My advice is to keep up the pressure on the Board of Directors to get rid of Immelt, and put someone in charge who isn’t a wanabee politician.
        The best way to get rid of Immelt is to get rid of Obama!
        I am retired from GE, and it has always been a great company to work for, that is until Immelt was elected CEO!

        Immelt has been at this for a long time now. My family has purchased nothing with a GE logo on it for years. When Republicans say we can’t reform taxes on corporations because they create jobs, keep in mind that Immelt and others like him are the ones who benefit from it.

He had said that Washington DC would not be a prime target should they go to war with us. Honda, Mercedes, and Kia have plants here also, they are also non union and their employees are treated with great dignity by their management.

      I think you are missing what is most important. GE is investing $2 Billion in China for business profit. Their test is the bottom line and taxes paid that are not profit. They are not in business to support those in the United States of American who don’t work and are paid income from tax revenues; don’t pay any income taxes (50% of people with taxable income – Not the social security taxes paid in which are paid back with more than paid in). If the takers in the United States of America had a better understanding that they get for free what others work hard for to pay them; and they owe for what they get and should do the part they can to pay for what they get so it is not absolutely free. The payers deserve what they can legally keep. Some keep more than they would if there were not tax holes and outright non payment – the tax code should have been reformed and that contributes to how much is paid. The payers work for the money they get and/or take the risk on investing and losing their money or making a good return and busting their tails for making money they can enjoy and DESERVE. A simple truth to know 95% of new small business fail within 5 years after starting. Many small businesses don’t make any profit the first few years but pay all the salaries of the people who work for them.

Never underestimate anyone like that. He is a highly intelligent and cunning man and he knows exactly what he is doing. If you can go back and review Obama’s interviews and speeches before the election, you will see that he is doing everything he promised with only one exception. He doesn’t have a transparent administration. He has successfully shoved Obamacare down our throats. He successfully got two highly controversial people on the Supreme Court. Got some other controversial legislation done during the lame duck session to include the Food Safety Act. He also said that in order to fund research for alternative energy, gas and utility prices would have to go up. There is proof of that in every gas station you pass. Have you checked your gas, electric and water bills lately and compared them to what you had to pay in 2008? You can bet the farm that money isn’t going to fund alternative energy research. No dummy or idiot could have pulled all that off no matter who was supporting him. Too many people underestimated him and still do and he knows how to use that to his advantage.
        The writing was on the wall and the voters refused to read it. I’m not blaming the clowns that voted him into office. At least they voted. We need to get more of those 50% plus, who don’t vote, off dead center and vote. That is the only way to defeat him. Obama wants you to think that your vote means nothing because the election is already fixed. Then you may stay home on election day and make him happy.
        I’m not saying anything new that I haven’t said many times in the past. I am saying the things that need to be said over and over. Wake up and smell the coffee America before it’s too late. Apathy, not Obama, is the greatest threat to our liberty and freedom.

      I think you are missing what is most important. GE is investing $2 Billion in China for business profit. Their test is the bottom line and taxes paid that are not profit. They are not in business to support those in the United States of American who don’t work and are paid income from tax revenues; don’t pay any income taxes (50% of people with taxable income – Not the social security taxes paid in which are paid back with more than paid in). If the takers in the United States of America had a better understanding that they get for free what others work hard for to pay them; and they owe for what they get and should do the part they can to pay for what they get so it is not absolutely free. The payers deserve what they can legally keep. Some keep more than they would if there were not tax holes and outright non payment – the tax code should have been reformed and that contributes to how much is paid. The payers work for the money they get and/or take the risk on investing and losing their money or making a good return and busting their tails for making money they can enjoy and DESERVE. A simple truth to know 95% of new small business fail within 5 years after starting. Many small businesses don’t make any profit the first few years but pay all the salaries of the people who work for them.

      How old are you? As I am one of those vets that was spit on. I remember my true experience of that situation, I let the asshole live!! I did 3 more tours and was wounded a few more times, Granada, the Marine Barracks, Beirut, 1984, shot in my second tour of Beirut in the head as a glancing blow, he lost, I won as a sniper. Did anti -terrorism with the 11th and 12th specfor in Italy, and anti-drug interdiction in Nicuraugua and columbia, got out again. Back in for Desert Storm, couldn’t stay away, was kept here to instruct reservists in how to stay alive basically, and in 95, went to Bosnia and got another head shot, here I am, can’t shoot a Scotsman in the head, it just won’t work. And today, I still instruct on a “on call basis” for the various services for my experience and expertise in what I have to offer to our modern day war fighters!!
      Nobody fears war more than those that have to go fight it!! If you won’t stand behind our troops, Please, feel free to stand in front of them!! That is all I have to say!!

    I am a senior entrepreneur who brought manufacturing FROM China TO America. I have been trying very hard to have the opportunity to share my story on many of the large network talk shows. I mean, it is about jobs, jobs, jobs, isn’t it? If entrepreneurs and small business people would realize the “true” cost of doing business in China, they most likely would manufacture here in the US. The retail cost of my product rose $.50 and I drive my car to pick up the product. No more need to order by the thousands and my cash flow has greatly increased. Shipping and inspection costs are outrageously high and quality control is a real issue when dealing in China. I encountered more costs than these until my product landed. I had expense after expense but the crowning blow was when the maker of my mold, who also made my product and was paid in advance, charged me another $600 to give the mold to me. Here endeth doing business in China ever again!

    General Electric Co. has had some very good head men – one weho comes to mind was Ralph J. Cordiner who was in charge from 1950 to 1963. Cordiner had served as head of the War Production Board during WW II, returning to GE after and working up to the head office.     I bought my first shares of GE stock in 1962. I have never sold any but have purchased a lot more over the years, and the stock has split more times than I can count. I will be calling my broker tomorrow morning to discuss if selling it all is the right thing to do. From a financial stand point the answer is no I’m fairly certain. I’m almost 69 years old. I’m thinking what the heck, sell. I would like to see everyone that feels the same way to go ahead and sell. I do not want to own this stock any longer.

        One great problem we have in trying to educate people away from the Obama style of government is a pat little phrase I keep hearing from a lot of my friends. “I don’t want to talk about that. You show disrespect for our President when you talk against Oboma, and no matter what he does, he is still the President, and should be shown respect.” How do you fight that? They never listen to any news except , NBC, and CBS…. Never Fox or even C-Span. I am very old, but didn’t grow up in a glass house. Their small household appliance division buys from other companies more than likely built in China. The only thing American may be thier major appliances made by companies like Electrolux and Whirlpool.

    This administration is fine with sending jobs from Wisconsin to China but has a REAL issue with allowing Boeing to relocate to a more business friendly SC. What no one seems to be talking about, hand in hand with this issue is it would allow a government contractor to reduce the cost of providing the military with necessary equipment. The next thing you should do is to find a local Bible-believing, church to help you grow in your faith and to learn more about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.     This is not good for America I agree. GE has been outsourceing jobs for years, this is not the first. Mostly to Pakistan. Then having American workers teach these people how to do their jobs and them let go in the long run. Do not blame the American worker for the deeds of their company, because they need a job also. The way they (the company) see it, they pay less taxes over seas and less payroll. This is a congressional problem, they make it hard for a company to make a buck in the US, paying 35% taxes here, when they can pay less than half that somewhere else. They have priced us right out of any market, making the labor costs to high for employers to pay the workers, hterefore passing it down to consumer amking the product to expensive. So we buy out of necessity the cheaper brand which is made in China or Mexico etc…. _Get rid of Obummer_, bring companies back to USA with a right to work law and employ people to make products we can afford to purchase.     I was employeed by GE in so cal. until mid 2005. I REALLY loved my job and thought I’d be there forever. My corporate position entailed housing GE’s imaging devices – not creating them.
    It was a very sad day for me when it was Corporate Off. in Pa. decided shut down my division.

    We build homes and purchased homes with GE products throughout our lives. I’m near 70 years and that is a lot of products, but I will Never purchase a GE product again. I’ll check everything before I buy their products again. Jeff Immelt, CEO of General Electric is another example of Greed unlimited at the cost of Americans. Not only extremely interesting and informative, but encouraging to know that there are still so many out there that have much wisdom and incite and that we all pretty much have the same heart.     I have sent letters to ask for someone to begin the process of impeachment, and you know what , all I get is rhetoric, there are not enough people writing to their Congressmen, telling them enough is enough. More people have to be involved in order for a impeachment process to begin.

    Nothing can or will be done until the people make their voice heard, and the only way is to keep on sending daily emails to our Senators, and Representatives until they get sick of it. We need to have people empowered to tell government, the power is with the people not with the government, but until that happens, our government will win every time.

      I write mine at least once a week but I don’t think that is enough. I am trying to figure out something else that I can do that will make more of an impact. The problem with writing our senators and congressmen is that they have people that handle all their correspondence. They read it and answer it. I have received answers that were pretty bizarre and didn’t answer the question I asked at all. I wonder just how much actually gets to whoever I am writing to.

    You can buy incandescent light bulbs at Walmart that are made in the USA, and they are cheaper than the GE bulbs. We found them 4/94cents at our local Walmart in PA and are slowly stocking up like many other citizens. The government outlawed those mercury filled bulbs for exterior use, but is mandating them for use in your home. Does that make any sense, but then the government doesn’t make any sense. Waste Management says they will not take the mercury bulbs in their garbage, and I downloaded instructions on how to deal with them for disposal and/or breakage. I personally hate them as many others do, but I think the real problem is that the government is telling us what kind of light bulbs we can use. We are fighting the government over light bulbs and this is insanity.

    We have unleashed a bunch of idiots in Washington who keep coming up with these ridiculous mandates, and I think it must be to save their jobs. We need common-sense people in Washington and we need to throw out all those bureaucrats, not just Congress, but all those people who are the government employees. When I worked for the Department of the Army and had to follow all the written Army regulations, we used to say the people who wrote them were insane, and they kept them chained in the basement of the Pentagon. Needless to say, I quit!

    If you listened to the CBO’s report yesterday, they are saying we are going to have 8% unemployment for at least until 2014. Actually, it could be higher as more and young people will finish school and look for jobs. If Obama keeps his job for four more years, and the Democrats retain the Senate, we might as all head for Canada because this country will be nothing. He and the Democrats like Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, Schumer, etc. have done more to destroy this country than ever before in our history. We could be creating thousands of jobs in energy, but Obama won’t issue permits. Now the SEC is going to examine the fracking that takes place in the extraction of natural gas. This is insanity as the SEC is supposed to be catching crooks like Madoff. What are they doing looking into an environmental issue. Washington is running wild under Obama. Either we stand up and fight or go down to defeat.

Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen .Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work. And what jobs we do have, we give to the illegal Mexicans that are demanding their “rights” when they don’t have rights. If we want to restore the ecomony, bring back the jobs that have been sent overseas and ship all the illegals back across the border. If we’d build fences and put guard towers along them, we would create jobs as well.     Since Immelt has been the Chairman of the Economic Council for Jobs, the country’s unemployment rate has gradually risen. He has shipped GE’s jobs to China. Way to go Jeff. That is really creating or saving jobs. He is nothing but a political appointee who has given millions to the Obama campaign in return for government green contracts and paying no Federal Income tax. How is that working out for the country? If he had any sense of right and wrong, he would have resigned from the post, but Progressive Liberals see nothing wrong with this behavior.

    I have never liked Obama and his czars, and especially Immelt. We need jobs here, and Immelt is sending them to China. I now heard that the Chinese will be building jets for the Americans. What else can we ship over there, they know enough about US and own US since they loaned most of the WASTED stimulus money to our country and practically own US.

    Under this administration we are fighting a losing battle and the uneducated people of all races in this country who are on welfare and food stamps still support Obama because of these giveaway government programs which ruined Greece, Spain and now will come to US if he gets re-elected.       Maybe someone can help me with some answers to a few questions I have. If we elect people aren’t they technically “employed” by us? Aren’t we supposed to be able to tell them what we want them to do not the other way around? Why do they get to determine how much they earn and what benefits they get?
      Isn’t it possible to have an entirely new “party” Citizens for the US Constitution or something like that where we just start from the beginning and go for what we want? What about petitions? Isn’t there laws that state we can request something if we have enough signatures and specific procedures are followed?
      We have lost control and to me it seems like we are really not as free as we think we are. I feel like Obama is a dictator and I agree with someone else when they said he is a dangerous man. I told everyone I knew that he was dangerous before he was even elected. I could tell just by the way he talked and by his mannerisms. I am not so sure that the people that work for him aren’t the ones writing everything and he just tells us that it is all his idea. Like the plan he is going to share with us all about how he is going to provide jobs and he is going to do that before the beginning of September. How can he do that if he is on vacation? Before his vacation he was on the campaign trail and before that he was doing everything he could to get more money to spend. Probably needs money for his next vacation next month. This person is taking our country down and unless we do something to stop him, he is going to do just that. Voting is important but I don’t think that is enough personally. I regret that I have not been as involved in government as I obviously should have been. I have been just trusting the ones elected to do a good job and to have our best interests at heart. I know that I have to change that about myself unless I want to continue getting what we have now. What we have now is a corrupt, lazy government who spends money on what they feel they want and to hell with us.

    Ghee what’s the big deal with it? The big business and congress which includes the president have been outsourcing jobs for years and along with this part they have totally destroyed the businesses that employ US legal citizens by allowing these greedy people to set up their businesses in countries outside of the USA. They can polute those countries, use the cheap labor and make big bucks but be prepared to be fined and taxed to death because of greed. So every business and every job that is located outside the United States of America should be taxed to death, the owner, boardmembers, stockholders and I mean every one of them needs to be punished for taking jobs outside this country. AND someone thinks we are or are not in a recession? Without business, without jobs that work for those businesses we as legal citizen of the USA do not have jobs. So just maybe we need to tax and fine our politicians, all owners of business outside the USA, their CEO’s etc…every one who works in these business until those business return to the USA and put people back to work. We also need to fine the EPA and all of their staff until agreements can be make to get those businesses back here and producing in ways that make the EPA happy but keeps people working. We also need to tax every politicians coffers and each political party until they get there shit together on what needs to be done for this country and it’s people. The other thing that needs to happen in helping us as a people and that is “state to the world” that from today on we need to work together or all money provided for whatever reason to whatever country is now stopped. Every dime will be returned to us by close of business, today. All military is to return to the USA and if you need our help it will cost you, not us. These conflicts currently ongoing are costing this country in every way possible and it stops today. We as a country are now going to work on ourselves before we help any other country. The entry into the US also stops until we fix whatever is wrong with us and our economy. All the money spent putting contracts on peoples heads could have been spent on better things in this country. So does everyone hear what is needed to get the job done? Put businesses in smaller communities, train the communities, retrain them as necessary so everyone can work. Those who do not to work that really can well you can exit the country so they can support your needs. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and just why do I need to press 1 for English? Don’t you think since this country was established with religion and those who spoke English that maybe these two items need priority. You can speak any language you want but English should be primary, period and as for religion it needs to stay out of politics. We now have so many different cultures as well as religions within the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA but the principles of being a legal citizen in this country is run from what our fore fathers created so we can live as one nation of people, not several hundred different parts. If we can’t work out the problems why not just put the political parties and every politician in two spots within the country and let them fight between themselves but keep it out of the rest of the country. This way we can develop with new leadership so we don’t go back to the same old situations which put the parties and politicians in the spot they are in today. We need something better than what is currently onging today. Get big business back so the people can go back to work.
