Project Gun Runner (Fast and Furious) was launched under the orders of President Barack Obama with the knowledge of Attorney General Eric Holder. Deputy Attorney General David Ogden announced the Obama Administration’s new and aggressive ‘comprehensive plan’ on March, 24, 2009. The plan was aimed at disrupting gun trafficking between the United States and Mexico.

        I want to fight the PIGS directly but i dont have enoguh people willing to, and even if i could, the PIGS would find out about me and stop first before i could get enoguh of a militia together. So it is possible to resort to ‘terrorist’ tactics, but that doesnt work and is a bad idea. Used to be it was easier to organize without the PIGS finding out. How did the people in the Lexington and COncord do it back then and nobodys managed to do it today. When Waco happened why didnt anybody come to their aid and kick the FBI ATF out and free the people trapped in the compound.             I still don’t believe that our military would take up arms against fellow Americans. A large amount of our troops are all assigned overseas. Our real strength is still in our National Guard and Reserve components. Many of them are also very active members of their communities and I don’t think they would take up arms against their friends, family or neighbors. I also think that relocating them to other states would not work either. I strongly believe that they would go as far as to join their fellow Americans against the gun confiscators. With all the guns in this country, registered or unregistered it would be very difficult to locate them. I am sure the President and his followers are well aware of this and will request help from the United Nations. The UN would gladly send troops from China, Iran and North Korea to name a few and, for the first time since the War of 1812, we would again be fighting foreign troops on our soil. Our, so called, NATO Allies will be unwilling or powerless to help us. It would be a bloodbath. The people who will be kicking down our doors looking for guns will not be American troops.

          It isn’t enough anymore. The thing that bound those people at Lexington and Concord together was their feeling of community between all of them for each other, and the sense of responsibility that they all had for each others’ safety and their own Towns. People today move from town to town so often that they don’t feel their own roots anymore. In many cases, a person doesn’t feel like they even want to feel their own roots. And that’s got a lot to do with the ways in which we live these days. Many of us are terribly unhappy with our own lots because we think we should have more than we do, and we don’t know how to go about getting what it is we do want. What most of us want is an end to the inequalities that we all sense we have to undergo, from the abrupt and rude manner in which we are treated by most police officers (badly trained and cultivated nowadays) to the off-hand ways in which we are treated by the politicians we actually elect. In most cases politicians are elected by minorities of voters who care enough to turn out to vote, and so we are controlled not by a a true majority of the electorate, but by a true minority of the people who care enough to vote. And we have to put up with their ideas of what is Right and what is Wrong, instead of our own. This nation belongs to the party that cares enough to get it’s voters out there, and elect the candidate of their choice.
          If you could get a group of people who wanted change in the same ways you do to come together to vote and thus, actually make changes in your town/county/city/state, then you would have truly achieved what it is you want to do. Become a member of a political party that you agree with, and get active with them. In that way you might actually find the kind of people you want, people who will help you change things without a gun or force of arms. You don’t really need that in this society. We are just too large a nation and too big for a small militia to truly hurt. The police departments are too well organized and the networks of the civil and military police too over-reaching to overcome them all, unless enough millions of people come together underneath your banner. An amazing thought.

            I dont think its possible to solve anything without guns or violenence of some kind. People just dont take people with signs seriously. But when you smash the city and burn the PIGS cars (like in Pittsburgh, London, Toronto G20), at least some people will come to your side

And it did. I hope I’m right in thinking that the next time an order is given that goes against the grain of the day to day agent that knows what is what, that maybe that order will be misplaced. Are you old enough to remember, or have you just been reading all the liberal propaganda about how bad Nixon was and all the while pretending their Jimmy Carter does not exist? Nixon bombed the H out of N. Vietam, Laos and Cambodia and brought the enemy to the table. He did not lose the Vietnam war, that happened by the Dem controlled congress AFTER Nixon was out. Nixon did not involve us in Vietnam, JFK did, followed by Lyndon Johnson. When it looked bad for Israel in 1973, Nixon sent planes with tanks and weapons for Israel. He saved them. The only thing Nixon did bad in my eyes was imposing the 55 MPH limit on us. Don’t fall into the lib trap of bad-mouthing Nixon. They do it to GW too, can’t you see the pattern? Nixon sending a couple of guys to steal papers is NOTHING compared to what Obama had done at our border.

            Right on John. Richard Nixon was no more guilty for what he did than any other potential candidate running for President. I was in the Air Force when he got us out of Vietnam. That war was a total political liberal fiasco. John Kennedy and especially Lyndon Johnson made profound errors on both involving us in Vietnam and how they managed the military operation. Richard Nixon had enough sense to put an end to a war that almost destroyed the very fiber of our country. He was a hero for getting us out. The Democrats knew they couldn’t beat him, so they did what they did to Bush……they discredited him. It’s not hard to do when you have most of the media in your corner.

            jag46, Nxon DID WIN, overwhelmingly. Bernstein and Woodward’s investigation did not bear any fruit until after Nixon was re-elected. Nixon had the liberal press against him from way back in 1960 when he first ran. He had reason to be paranoid. As a Journalism major I was in a college (2) in California during the early 70s and saw how the liberal professor’s were brainwashing the journalism students at that time. Those same students are the ones in charge now at CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC. Those professors complained about EVERYTHING Nixon tried or did. Not just Watergate, everything. Hippie freaks came onto campus and marched around with signs saying 1-2-3-4 we don’t want your f-ing war! and naive campus students would join in and march around, thinking it was all great fun and not realizing how they were being duped. Nixon took blame for Vietnam, a war he did not start, and finished with victory. The war was lost later when the Dems controlling the House and Senate refused to send further aid to S. Vietnam, even after President Ford made a speech pleading for aid to S. Vietnam.

            I sent a letter to my Republican Senator expressing my concern about the obamee ineligibilty. The reply was that the president got a special exemption from the state of HI for a copy of his original BC. The document confirms that he was born in HI and therefore meets the requirements for holding the presidency……. I have a copy of his original BC and it’s not HI. He continued to say that we had bigger problems than his birthplace. The way I read it, if he is ineligible, all is null and void. Problems solved. That takes our problems down to about 1/4 what we have now! I too don’t understand why they won’t do anything about someone who is so obviously a fraud. They are scared of him and the Chicago mob he brought with him. They probably have dirt on all of these guys, and of course they know it.

        Ya’ll don’t understand the whole picture. There is a financial oligarchy in this world that wants to tax and control everyone in the world. Many of our pols have been bought off or believe they will benefit from a OWG. They are all “useful idiots”. It’s the same with obama and probably soros, they are all working under the direction of people much more powerful than them.

        The financial oligarchy has been choosing many of our presidents for many years, and probably many of Congressmen and Senators. Other world leaders are also chosen and their elections “fixed” so the chosen win.

        There are lots of people on the blogs I visit that talk about eliminating their current “problem” pol. There will be another “problem” in the next cycle. The financial oligarchy doesn’t quit, it has been at this destruction for hundreds of years. It, the oligarchy is fine-tuned and knows how to direct voters to whom they have chosen.

        I won’t say that there is no way out of this, but for the “hot-heads”, who are you going to shoot? There are lots of throats that could be cut, but the dead will be nothing more than mules or monkeys that served the oligarchy.

        I don’t have the answers, but if I have found the “truth and secrets” so should all of ya’ll…it’s all out there. I’ve been reading about it since the ’70′s. I read in the early 70′s that Bush Senior would be President, when I read that I didn’t even know who Bush was! And all you Rick Perry “kinda-supporters”…beware. Perry is one of “them”.

        The Senate which is controlled by the Dumocrats and is responsible for being the Prosecution, Judge, and Jury, WOULD NOT even TRY to “make” the case, BUT… we would spend THOUSANDS, possibly hundreds of thousands, of MANHOURS in the “magic” smoke and mirrors process of trying him, BUT… then the Left-wing Senate would either aquit him, OR find him guilty BUT like with Clinton in the “punishment phase” vote NOT to remove him from office.

        In either case, possibly MILLIONS of MANHOURS of House and Senate members, and their staff’s, time would have been WASTED on this lose-lose effort.

        We have WAY TOO MANY SERIOUS FINANCIAL problems in this country that do not need to be “SIDETRACKED” by a partisan battle that cannot be won.

        Let’s concentrate first on the financial crises, and THEN on voting Obummer out in 2012, AND THEN we will have the power necessary to investigate, try, AND CONVICT Obummer and his group of gangsters.

        Right now let’s work to stave off a total financial collapse of our economy, which sadly could lead to a WORLDWIDE DEPRESSION far greater in scope , and worse than the “Great Depression” that our parents had to live through.

That is why I voted for him. But if we get two candidates I do am not crazy about, I will vote independent, if I like him as. But what about Perry? I like Bachmann but I have very mixed feelings about Romney, especially after his health care in MA failed miserably.

            I agree and I would add do we want our descendants to live as subjects or as free citizens. I submit that every concerned citizen needs to join or form a Constitutional Militia for large numbers of armed citizens can preserve our God given rights, hopefully peacefully.

            The Ohio Constitution states in Article 9 that every able bodied citizen is in the Militia. I joined the only Constitutional Militia in Ohio and encourage everyone to do the same in their areas.             One thing we all NEED TO DO. Join the NRA. (I belong). If not the NRA, there are other organizations dedicated to defending the 2nd Amendment. It is only a few bucks for a years membership and you have a choice of a monthly magazine that is pretty decent. You get news of what is happening almost daily on the net, and you will be much more informed as to what is happening in Washington, and in your home state. Armed with numbers, the NRA wields a lot of power in Washington, power WE WANT.

My representative even has a form on his website for doing that which i sent in. I will not abide with talk of revolution. What we need is a restoration of our Constitutional Republic so we can pass on our God given rights to our descendants. Revolution is not the answer.

While operation “GunRunner” and operation “Fast and Furious” are both legs of the same project they are not exactly synonomys. Operation “Gunrunner” was actually already put in place during GW Bushes tenure and at that time, the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in place was to apprehend the illegal purchasers of these weapons. OP Gunrunner is the project named in this c-span video, NOT “Fast and Furious”. OP “Fast and furious” is a sub-project of Gunrunner and I’m sure BO and Holder were on board with this new project, but so far I have not seen the real smoking gun that could be used for criminal prosacution / impeachment. I hope that Issa and Grassley are succesful…they seem to be closing in on the high ups in the know. Unfortunately unless something like this video surfaces specifically calling “fast and furious” by name, linking to Holder or BO, some poor jack-ass will take a fall for these two criminals.

    I have ran the idea of arresting obama along with everyone else involved past Senator Issa for the illegal acts pertaining to and surrounding Project Gun Runner. I reminded Issa that the laws that have been set before us are for everyone and that no one is above those laws, including everyone in the political arena.
    Project Gun Runner was a massive failure on a large scale that cost American lives. Had any of us committed such an act, we would be in prison for the rest of our lives. We might even have been tried for treason in the process. So what makes our government agencies think they are above the law?? Their own arrogance and stupidity, nothing more.
    I have also contacted another U.S. senator about such matters and literally told him that in my opinion, if members of Congress do not act on such important matters, then they are all cowards and not fit to represent America and its citizens. Adding to this, I also told them that if this is the case, then they need to resign their office and step down to allow someone who has the courage to challenge the elite and to effect the arrests of those who are committing such criminal acts against the U.S. and all of us.
    I didn’t spare the pieces as the old saying goes. It is far past time for every citizen in this country to voice to our representatives the discontent, anger and disappointment in our governing body, everyone in Congress and our judicial system. They need to here this from everyone, not just a few who are NOT afraid to voice our opinions to them. After all, they are human too and make just as many mistakes as anyone else.
    The only difference between them and us is that when they make a mistake, it becomes huge and turns into a monster that takes years to resolve while our mistakes, well, they are short lived in most cases and don’t involve an entire country.
    We can talk to one another in places like this till we turn blue in the face and nothing will ever change, but, change will occur when our political figures are being flooded with so many communications that it jams their system beyond their belief. They will then get the message across their narrow and tunnel visioned minds that we are angry and that they better get matters corrected before all hell breaks lose.
    Now, why don’t all of you here contact your representatives and being the process of getting the message out to where it really belongs. Once this has been done, then come back here and tell us what you did. That would be the best thing you could do and offer some encouragement for others to witness and follow your lead.
    What is it going to take to get this point across??? How hard do you have to be pushed before you begin pushing back? What will it take, for you to experience an adverse side effect due to your silence such as seeing a family member being hauled off to jail for expressing an opinion, for a family member being shot to death for trying to defend his family and home? Just a couple of examples that have actually happened recently.
    Or how about getting some jail time for nothing more than growing a garden in your front yard. This has already happened also. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE???

      I have been doing all I can to get this point across. I have been venting my frustrations to our Senators and people like Issa. I began venting my frustrations early last summer and to date, there have been no positive results. I fully believe now that obama intends to stay in office past the up coming election by whatever means he deems necessary and I suspect marital law will be his act against us. This way he can place U.N. troops within our communities for policing action.
      There will be a natural or man made disaster in the near future, you can count on it. They have already made the necessary preparations through FEMA. Try 140 million MREs, or similar, body bags and rail cars to transport displaced citizens to their FEMA holding camps. All this has been completed and I have seen with my own eyes these personnel carrier rail cars. The New Madrid Fault is the focus of attention right now. Look at all ChemTrails in the skies for example. They are all connected.

    I was an 18 year old protester in the 70s.

    I visited Thailand many times in 2005-6. On one occasion, I got off the sky train only to feel the platform shaking beneath me. Below the sky train station, as far as I could see (in both directions) were people in the street chanting “Taksin get out.” That was in 2006. Taksin Shinawatra was then Prime minister of Thailand, and people were protesting. Their protest eventually led to a peaceful coup which ousted Mr. Shinawatra. (His sister, Yingluck Shinawatra was just elected Prime Minister, but that is another story…)

    I was emotionally moved by that 2006 protest in Thailand as it recalled for me the 70s protests here in the States. I have no opinion regarding Mr. Taksin’s ouster, but it was the protest which struck me. Real people exercising their collective “might” if you will.

    What’s happened to people here in the States? Where is the strength of conviction which had protesters in the streets here in the 70s? I know in the 70s, those protests were mostly left winged, but I protested because our troops were being micro-managed by politicians and not allowed to win the war they were sent to fight. (I also do not assert any claim that the war was righteous, but protested because our soldiers were dying while not allowed to defend themselves. Remember the “no fire” zones of that war?)

    Anyway, Americans had guts enough to go into the streets back in the 70s to demand change. How sad that now with this usurper in the White House, people whine and cry that he should be removed from office or worse, yet they is no protest of any meaningful kind to effectuate any change.

    We ought to take a page from our friends in Thailand who braved mayhem and death to effectuate changes in their homeland. It seems they are the “us” we used to be….. (Oddly enough, Thailand is also known as the home of the free and their flag is also red, white and blue….)

    Take to the streets. More than a “million man” march is called for now. God bless and save the U.S.A.

It is going on today in Afhanistan mainly. Our soldiers must phone in for permission to do just about anything, even snipe an obvious terrorist a mile away.

    Throughout history there have been few, if any, government(s) that could be trusted. All have expanded their power over the citizens any way possible. Our founders knew this and tried to build restrictions on government, within our constitution, for that very reason. The primary reason this government has been able to expand power, (not just under the Obama administration but other administrations as well) is a weak Supreme Court as well as a weak legislative branch. Although other administrations did abuse their power and at least on two occasions may have desired to install different government authority (Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt) neither took the overthrow of this government system so far as the Obama administration has already done.

    Continuing however, the second amendment is also to keep the government in line. But it will only be successful if we, law abiding citizens, use it as it was intended. Make no mistake, Obama will, if reelected to a second term, have the guns confiscated of course in the name of protecting the citizens, or at least try. He is going to now use his executive powers to enact a law (?) To restrict guns in the southern border states. This is only the first step others will follow. We citizens cannot or must not give up our guns, our guns and the right to use them are our only chance. Executive orders can and this one will, no doubt, be rescinded when a new president is elected in 2012 if, of course, the right one is elected.

    There are, I have heard, somewhere between 30 and 60 million armed citizens in this country and no one knows for sure how many guns there are. Therefore, I personally do not believe any government could confiscate them all. We know the criminals will never give up their arms. But by 2014 Obama will try if reelected, count on that!

    I suspect in the very near months there is going to be a crises he is going to use to increase his power again. That could possibly be his ploy with the debt ceiling. Time will tell. Because he is no longer assured of being reelected he may try to use it to stay in office without the election. That would be a gamble on his part but he may try if he gets desperate enough. It is easy to suspect, by his actions from day one, he never had any intentions of ever having to leave the office of president. Keep in mind he dances to a George Soros tune.

    No matter what the future brings we, who love this country free, must stick together, it will not be easy but we must do it. There will be forces that try to separate us in order to conquer us but we must be steadfast and stay the course. Just as our ancestors did 235 years ago. With Gods help we will have the same outcome! With any luck without violence.

That is what the Founders did before they declared their independence as they knew they needed an interim government.     They should have thought of the consequences of their project. If they had used guns that only fired a shell that was custom made and anyother would not work, then, the project might have worked. For example, say they called the gun a 9 millimeter, but the gun really only used 8.5 mm bullets, the gun would not work without the 8.5 mm bullets, 9 mm ones would jam up. the cartels would then have purchased worthless guns.
