Fox News expert denies he claimed birth certificate legit

The computer graphics expert Fox News relied upon to claim the birth certificate the White House released April 27 was legitimate insists that the network must retract the story, claiming it deliberately misquoted him and continues to ignore his repeated requests.

Jean Claude Tremblay told WND that none of his comments would permit the conclusion that the Obama birth certificate is an authentic document.

“I no longer trust Fox News,” he said, expressing anger verging on disdain for the way he feels the network treated him. “Despite my protests, Fox News will not allow me to correct their story.”

The controversy traces to a Web story by Fox News reporter Jana Winter two days after the White House released the birth certificate, titled “Expert: No Doubt Obama’s Birth Certificate is Legit.”

    He won’t be the only idiot hoping to get out of eating crow. Journalism is a joke anymore. “What? What do you mean stand by my research…what research…I got it off a blog…how am I supposed to know you can’t believe what you read on line? They did not teach that at the university!!!” I remember when you could stake your life on what a journalist reported…they had integrity and were ethical almost to a fault.     If this is true, then FNC should definitely send a retraction. Otherwise the trust and integrity that they have built will forever be in question. It was very disappointing to read this and I hope that it will be rectified. There have been too many other experts that have reported that it is a forgery, and where there is smoke there is fire.

      You are correct Larry. Oreilly has been carrying Obamas water since 2008 when Obama went on the Factor, and McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin would not. Oreilly is still carrying Obamas water. I’m getting so I don’t really want to watch Oreilly anymore.

        I think that O’Reilly’s positions are in sinc with Roger Ailes’.
        Ailes is a beltway elitest who may or may not hold conservative viewpoints. He’s an old school politico who saw a way to make a lot of money by investing in a product (a conservative news network) that would be snapped up by an underserved segment of the population. He’s enjoying his wealth and influence with old school republicans and seems content to allow only the least controversial subjects to air on Fox. And why not? His wealth will protect him when tshtf. He does not seem motivated by any concern for the rest of us.
        O’Reilly is not very bright but seems at least intelligent enough to know that he has stumbled on a gold mine. He won’t rock the boat.

        I have to disagree about McCain. I’m sure that being a senator for as long as he has a lot of inside information and he knew all along. Reminds me of the Clintons that claimed to have HUGE information about Obama prior to the nomination. I’m sure the Clintons did a bit of horse trading to keep quiet about it. That is why she got her job and a lot of former Clintion administration people got theirs. It’s like the Clintons are running the country.

      Beck won’t touch the birth cetificate issue either. His friend, Oreilly would frown at him. He called us names without even investigating the fraud. BTW I don’t like Van Jones but Oreilly was not FAIR when he played the part of Jones’ recent rant where Jones quoted Popeye, “I can’t takes no more”. Oreilly said there was no need to watch anymore of the video since Jones’ grammer was so bad. Oreilly didn’t even watch it in context. I sent him an e-mail but he did not correct his mistake. What happened to “fair and ballanced”? Fox is getting lazy now that they think they have us.

    I’ve been watching FNC for years and lately I have become very skeptical. They are as full of spin as the MSM. O’Reilly and Hannity (not to mention all the “babes” who dress like they’re going to a cocktail party) are arrogant, rude and behave like the left-wing liberals…if you don’t agree with them then you are not too bright attitude. They began getting REALLY cockey after the republican victories in November. I am sorry that there is not another news channel.

      I like to watch certain Fox programs, but I’m not always happy with their coverage either. That being said, they’re more objective than any other television news outlet. I depend much more on conservative talk radio than on television.

    I’ve reached the point of not believing ANY media in the USA. I’ve started looking for media outside the USA and what they have to say about the same news stories that are run here. To me, watching the news is begs the question; “Who are you going to believe me or your lying eyes”?

      I agree that he should be much harder on Obama. I’ve never been happy with the breaks he gives him. That said, I wouldn’t really say he’s in the tank for him.

      However, despite my disagreement with O’Reilly on that issue, I love what he does for the Wounded Warriors. He’s great when it comes to supporting the troops.

    To borrow a phrase from my younger years, “…don’t trust anyone under 30…” I now believe that one cannot trust ANYONE…what is put on the ‘net is whatever [they] want to say without regard to truth or facts…I will support Beck in the fact that he repeatedly states that one should “…look it up for yourself…” but while watching Glenn, I asked myself, “How the Hell does he find these websites that spew such garbage…” and then I “googled, binged, Yahooed, and Wikipedia-ed and found he most amazing bunch of absolute HorseRadish that I could imagine..     Oreilly wants everyone to think the Birth cert. is legit.He has on several occasions said he had seen the cert. and it is real.But get this he says I have seen then he mutters the word it.where you can hardly here him.He , for some reason is really an Obama man.But he and Obama are keeping it to themselves.I cannot swear to his reason but why would this man lie for Obama?I do not trust him one bit.

    About time damnit! This is a BAD on FNC as it should be. The criminal complaint filed with the FBI by document expert Doug Vogt (of Seattle?) has been buried by the media and ignored by congress. If a congress person (or citizen) knows about a felony like this and does not report said felony there is a charge for that. It’s called “misprison of felony” and you all should inform your reps and senators to the forgery complaint and ask them if they know of “misprison of felony” and they should as most of them are LAWYERS! Max sentence is 3 years plus a fine.

    Just one suggestion PLEASE give guests a little time to respond, I know that the clock is your enemy but darn take time to educate your guests that answers MUST be short and quick, darn do it .

    The only thing I watch on Fox is Beck. Now that he is leaving, I do not watch Fox at all. My best source of info is from the patriotic and conservative sites on the computer. As far as I am concerned, Fox has joined ranks with the rest of the media.
