Sears, long famous for its catalogs and Craftsman tools, today within the span of a few minutes jerked hundreds of pornographic DVDs from its online store after outraged families flooded the company with complaints.

The campaign had been launched by officials with the American Family Association, which alerted its several million constituents to the situation only hours earlier.

“When AFA reported Sears was selling pornographic DVDs on its website, Sears initially told AFA supporters that it was untrue,” a followup announcement from AFA chief Tim Wildmon said.
