Loughner found incompetent to stand trial
Loughner, 22 was removed from the court hearing earlier after an outburst.
“Thank you for the freak show. She died in front of me,” he said to the judge. It was unclear who he was referring to.
After being asked by the judge if he wanted to remain in the courtroom or watch the proceedings on TV, Loughner said he wanted to watch it on TV.
Loughner, the defendant in the shooting rampage that wounded U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, spent five weeks in March and April at a federal facility in Springfield, Mo., where mental health professionals examined him.
