Obama’s $2 trillion stealth tax hike

The budget Obama proposed in February would raise taxes by $2 trillion on the richest 2 percent of Americans over the next decade. But it proposed $8.7 trillion in new spending and a total of $26 trillion in deficit spending in that same time period.

The President doesn’t believe government should get smaller or cost less. He thinks it should get significantly larger and cost a great deal more. And he thinks he can convince you to support this by tricking you into thinking Warren Buffett and his friends will pay for it all. They won’t. You will pay, too: in higher taxes, a weaker economy and a more burdensome government.
